eds started at 9 and i was almost late. and as usual, it was just rehearsals. really starting to get boring. that was when we found out that for the whole of next week we have to stay back to rehearse. argh!!! i can even do my homework and projects properly nowadays, because of eds. but its only until 5. i hope they cut down on tues and thurs for 3rd lang, so i can at least do my project. after eds, we played a bit of basketball, and i scored quite a good one. then me, eugene, nicole and yvonne took 30 then 63 to eugene's house. only me and eugene went. the calculations and records of the rainfall measurement were done quickly, and we had lots of time to play gta3. hooray!!! i'm much better at it now. i can drive a car properly and fly the plane for 20 seconds. at first we couldnt even take off :S . gta 3 is so cool, it has planes, boats and road vehicles for you to use and more weapons then ever. its a mix of a first person shooter, flight simulator, test drive, violent action game and lots more. i even made a police car collection. i collected at least 20 police cars. wow. then eugene's mum cooked dinner for us. fish, hot dogs, brocolli, fried egg, baked beans and soup. it was nice. i really thanked them before leaving. i downloaded gta at home. it is sucky compared with gta3. i hope i can get a new comp soon so that when i install gta3 it will run faster.

hooray!!! today was so fun!!! i had to go to school 1 hour 45 minutes before other pupils to prepare for the performance. we did a few last minute rehearsals and last minute changes, and then we had to go to the class beside stage. we stayed in there for about half an hour. our first performance received quite a lot of applause and we felt more confident, but my legs were still shaking, literally. then we went down for refreshment thingys. i took 2 brownies, 2 jellies and half a oreo cheesecake before i was chased away. by my own classmates. :-( anyway, we went to prepare for the second performance. we didnt do anything, just lazed around in the class. me and samuel were sleeping, so i was given a shock when i was awoken by aaron or someone. we were still feeling tired, but the dance went on without any flaws. except that i was less enthuasiatic. blame it on "mind your langauge". i watched that show till 1130 last night. the concert ended at 1220. we then rushed back to st hilda's to meet our teachers. we were quite late, because the other schools had ended at 9. i managed to meet up with mrs jo, mrs teo, mr koh and mrs choo. and everyone else from the other schools. hooray. everyone was happy. and i felt....happy...then me, shibao, nicole, guan yu, jeremy s, visakan and derrick went to macdonalds for lunch. we relived the good old days. then me and nicole took 293 back to school and met amanda, zhiwen, audrey, yuhui, shih ee, sharan and ying xian. we then went to the "nearby" basketball court to play captain's ball. we played two games, one among ourselves and one among some people from shss. both were my best games ever. hooray!!! even better than the one in which i scored ten times. throughout the game, i spent $3 on drinks. the girls from shss were all flirting with zhi wen. :S amanda got quite jealous :P . zhi wen seems to be *popular* and *handsome* and *nice*. he's...sort...of....nice....yeah...he's nice. he's kind and stuff. what they call a man's man. those that people look up to. anyway, enough of this crap. argh. then i went home with audrey. hooray!!! what a wonderful day!!!

update at 9:57

still very happy. my aunt brought me out. we went to eat dinner at sakae sushi. wow. i like it. duh. there were fried chicken, soft shell crabs, tempura ice-cream and some other sushi. nice!!! all my fav japanese food. then i took a taxi to yuh yiing's house to get the bottles of rain water. there were only two. :S. we already have 5 on our side. but still good enough. i hope it doesn't rain tomorrow so we can finish everything earlier.

we followed friday's timetable today. so the day started with a dose of mathematics. we completed 2 worksheets on polygon thingys. science was a worksheet which we copied stuff from our notes. recess was chicken and chocolate-horlick drink. english was a 1 1/2 hour comprehension and cloze test, which we didn't need to study for. i guess i did better than usual. chinese was looking at some sick articles in this weeks chinese youth newspaper, and preparing for our skit. eds was routine. we made the final changes, adjustments and plans for tomorrow. i have "mastered" the dance, with only one or two flaws during practice. my father fetched me from tampines mrt, and we went for dinner. for dessert, i bought the nearest thing i could find to a brownie-chocolatey fudgey cakey. hooray!!! i have decided to redo my whole speech. i hope i can be done by tuesday...

school was quite boring today, but still okay. maths and history and geography were all either normal or good. music was nice. we watched 10 minutes of "7 years in tibet" which i have already watched, and 10 minutes of "spirited away", which i havent watched. both are nice. art was easier than i expected, and science was quite boring; just taking down notes. i managed to finish art during the irs period, and that also reminds me, i have to do my irs, but i guess i have no more time. it's quite late now. eds was quite a waste of time, but at least we managed to get some decisions and stuff made. i bought gulliver's travels from popular and used it for crp, which i have just finished and just finished printing. i guess it's time to sleep now...

hooray! we collected rain water yesterday, our rain gauge seems to be working perfectly. pe was quite ok. we started on a new sport-softball or some kind of baseball thingy. im not too good at it, but most of my classmates werent too, and i think it's because the game is new to us. geog and hist were ok too. chinese was bad. i got back my test paper. now instead of third, i'm about fifth or sixth. ok, so that's not too bad, but i only got 58 : ( . computer was fun, but the computer's diskette drive screwed up, and most of my disks nearly got stuck in there. other then that, i had a fun time downloading windows media player :S. english was ok, i got 31/40 for the impromptu speech, but i hope i can get the prepared speech prepared on time. eds was quite tiring, and teh rehearsal was scary. i've never performed in front of school before, but only in church, and kindergarten. ok, maybe one or two times, but that was a long time ago. i hope i dont make any mistakes on the real day. i'm downloading staroffice 6.0 because i heard it was quite good. i might try out red hat linux, because it IS good. i can get the 3 cds for $3 from a guy called Edmund from LUGS, the linux users groups of singapore thingy. he lives in tampines, so it will not be a prob to meet up. but i think he'll get a surprised when he finds out i'm only 13. i better ask my parents before i contact him. i better start on crp now. bye!!!

i didn't go to church today because i wanted to sleep later and also take more time to study for the chinese re-test tomorrow. my parents had gone to church, so yet again, i was left alone. breakfast was quick and i started the work. i finished at about 130, and one hour later, my parents came back with my lunch. i ate lunch until 330. then i played on the computer and checked out on microsoft's and intel's history, because i had nothing better to do. then i watched "what women want". i didn't take a proper dinner, just some chinese barley-ginko-nut dessert. it was quite a boring day.

when i reached school at 8:45 am, s few of my eds frens were there. i met eugene to check on our rain gauge. empty. it hadn't been raining yesterday. eds started at 9 and ended at 12. it was rehearsals throughout and very boring too. i was quite glad for eds to end.when i went for lunch, most of the others who had cca were also there at the canteen. after lunch, most of us went to play basketball, volleyball and captain's ball. at 1, we went for the parent-child day briefing, then went off to out classes to clear up the rubbish and arrange the tables for our parents. 215. the floodgates opened, and the people poured out. my family was assigned to my "home class", 1k. it was actually quite useless, as my father had already seen the portfolio, but my mother hadn't, so she looked through it and gave some comments. after the whole episode, we returned to the second level. a short de-briefing was given to us, and we had the rest of the time off. some of us went to eat, while most of us went to play ball. i played volleyball for a while then we had a match of captain's ball. after exploring the obstacle course for a while, it started to rain, and we managed to get indoors just before it rained heavily. some of my friends played the piano, some of us just stayed around. the thingy ended at 445, and my parents fetched me, amanda and darren home. my parents went to changi general hospital for a while to visit my maid. i stayed at the lobby and ate some stuff. when i reached home, i received a call from darren saying that he and zhi wen were going to jeremy's house to watch footy. it was an exclusive invitation. hooray. so i took a quick bath, changed my clothes and my dad fetched me there. we were watching the match between manchester united (YAY!!!) and newcastle (no comments.). during the halftime, we played table tennis. i lost by quite a large score. the match continued and in the end man u won newcastle 2-1. HOORAY!!! van nistelrooy scored the first and scholes scored the second. then we went to js's room and decided to use his computer. if you have ever used it, you will agree that he has well and truly screwed it up. its a pentium 4 but its' even slower than my pentium 3. i wonder what he did to it. i managed to finish english homework, and watched a bit of a show called metropolis. my father fetched me, zhi wen and darren back. my parents have gone out for dinner, and i'm once again left at home alone. ARGH. i'm tired.

the air-con in the school bus still isn't working. it's kinda warm and stuffy in there, but i can take it. lessons today were generally good. except that during science i couldn't blow up my balloon. i'm not too good at the art of balloon-blowing. but i still managed to finish the worksheet. during chinese, we got back our test papers. HOORAY!!! i got 3rd in class. it's amazing. but it won't last for very long, because yang lao shi is giving a retest. and if my other frens do well in that area, then i'm doomed. truthfully, i don't think it's fair to us. ok, maybe it's because i did well in tian xie han zhi, but i still want to be 3rd. anyway, i took porridge for lunch. it was good. me, nicole and audrey took the mrt home. when i reached home, no one was in. :( i was locked out. so i loitered around the neighbourhood for 2 hours. i bought a new type of correction tape, then i took a look around the computer shop. when my parents got back, it was already 5. i managed to complete some math homework, then we went for dinner. a large fish, onion omlette and seafood vegetables with some rice completed the meal. it was really tasty. now i'm home alone. my parents went out for supper. i hope they come back soon.

hooray. captian's ball rocks. it's my favourite sport, besides basketball and bowling. i scored a few during recess and dawn. during pe, we continue our jounrey into table tennis. i feel i have improved a lot from last year, i have better control and usually do the serve well. we had no free periods today, but lessons were not that hard. maths was just two worksheets, english was a video, and science was copying stuff from a laptop. everything was nice. i went to kfc for lunch with amanda, nicole, darren and eugene. i took a burger, ice cream, fries and a bit of pepsi from eugene. after lunch, we went to play some wolleyball and basketball at the court. i didn't really feel good. the sun was bright and the wether was warm. we went home quite soon. since amanda needed to get her mum a b'day present, i followed for a while then i went home. then she asked me who i liked. :S i didn't tell and i'm not gonna tell anyone. but everyday it seems that with every try people make at getting me to tell them, it seems that im one step closer to telling. haiz... anyways, i drank some choco milk on the way. i like milk. it's tasty and creamy and and healthy nice and i like it. i had a small headache by the time i got home, i don't know why. i took a long bath and chatted with shauna for a while. dinner was nice. my dad bought some malay fried rice (nasi goreng) home, it had lots of anchovies and stuff. i read three books during dinner, war boy, after the war, and boy: tales of childhood or something. today was good.

note: my pop-up blocker has reached 210 pop-ups blocked in 2 weeks. hooray. i've been visting a lot of sites lately. i recommend the pop-up blocker which comes with the new google toolbar.

today was quite ok. in the morning, we had a short "talk" by mr ng about class cleaniness. he complained that we were too messy. and i have admitted before. our class is the dirtiest on the ground floor. we didn't even get into the top 10 of the clean classes. i guess we just have to clean up. i mean like, we have no other good choice. during music, we watched a show called "chocolat". it seems nice. we had 3 free periods after music, because our art teacher was on mc and miss khoo forgot about her science period. hooray! irs was short too, about 15 minutes. mr ng is going to re service. hooray! after lunch, i took 30 then 21 to eugene's house with yvonne. eugene's block is the same block as my aunty's but i didnt go to visit her. we had a mission to complete. but first we played on his computer. ARGH. he's got so many of the games i want. i think i'll buy 10 blank cd's and copy all of them. ok, maybe not. we played gta3 and it's so fun. i really need a new computer. he lent me gta3, but i have just found out that my computer doesnt meet up to it's requierments, so don't talk about vice city. ARGH. its so evil. i want a new computer. somethign like windows xp, p4 2.66 processer, 256 ram, 80 gb hard drive, CDRW and some other stuff. i think the dell dimension 4600 is perfect. :( i will have to wait until the next os comes out. ill just suffer for now.

morning was nice, although the aircon in the school bus was not working. i was feeling quite warm. the dawn captain's ball match was good, and pe was quite good too. recess's match was fun, computer lesson was not too bad. adobe premiere is quite useful as a movie maker. english debate was really good, fun, interesting etc. my speech was longer than i expected it to be, and i used up 30 seconds over the limit, which might be one of the reasons why my marks were lower than i expected. they said my speech was good. but i only got 24/30, which isn't too bad. hooray. after lunch, we went on the mrt to get home. guess what. guan yu and seng teck were on the train. guan yu is still his playful, humourous self, while seng teck has gotten better. i think. he seems much nicer. i felt kinda lonely on the 15 minutes bus ride home. for some reason. i don't know why. there seems to be an empty feeling inside me. anyway, when i got home, i started to research on kazaa lite. i just found out kazaa lite has a ip blocker thingy which prevent screwed-up organisations like the riaa and rias from detecting and investigating on you. hooray. i felt much happier. dinner was nice, sirloin steak and some stuff. today was...nice...i am very happy...

we moved back to 1k today. hooray!!! we really messed up 4k, which was the cleanest sec 4 class. 1k is the dirtiest sec 1 class, and im not surprised. but at least we got back our classroom, although i pity 4k. this cleanliness stuff is making a bad impression of us, but heck, people can think what they want to. anyway, english debates started today. the other motion started first, so i had more time to prepare. the debate was quite okay, but not fantastic, you could see clearly most of the speakers did not prepare well. but i still hope they did well. chinese test didn't go too well. the first page was easier than i expected, but the others were still difficult. i didn't do 3 of the questions properly. i hope i managed to get a reasonable mark. after school, i went to macdonalds with amanda, eugene and sharan. we ate lunch then went to amanda's house to do the rain gauge thing. we made the design more detailed and clear, and decided the materials needed and who would get them, and i printed out the ruler things. altogether, it was a good day. hooray.

note: i just uploaded the zip file containing a set of icons i made a few days ago. i am quite satisfied with them, maybe ill use them for cap :S they are uploaded at my homepage under icons.zip

yesterday was the science test. there was one question that was very hard and i might have only got 1 mark for it, out of 4. but many of my friends didn't even do it, so that's sort of a consolation. i took the mrt home with js and nicole. we were talking about buying a new computer with windows xp. i have read up quite a bit on windows xp, it's sort of a mix of all the advantages of the windows 9x and windows nt families. i might try a linux or apple computer one day, they seem to be gaining popularity. linux is free!!! i have decided when the next os of the windows family comes out, ill get a new computer. something within my budget, $2000, and is above average. dell sells cheap but good new computers. i like dell because of the value.

today, i woke up at 7:30 to prepare for eds. i reached at 8:45, and only yvonne and nicole were there. at 9:05, mr ken came, 5 minutes late, and tried unsucessfully to unlock the dance and drama studio door. after a while, we realised there was another lock which controlled the door too. so now tne room has two locks. i wonder why... there were a series of tedious and tiring rehearsals, but i didn't really mind.

lunch was nicey.
the chicken was dicey.
the mashed potatoes were creamy.
the salad was yucky.

after lunch, i met eugene and we took the mrt to meet amanda to design some rain gauge stuff. after an hour, we finally managed to decide on the design and materials to use. we're going to eugene's house on monday to construct the model. hooray. in the afternoon, i cut my hair. it looks a little weird, but everytime i cut my hair, it looks weird too, so whats the difference? anyway, it's irritating my eyes and ears less now. i ate a mooncake and a cup of mint icecream. hooray. i better go study for the chinese test now....

hooray!!! half day!!! look what 6 golds in the syf can do. but then again, many other schools like ri and rgs have at least one halfday every month. its not fair is it? hmmph. we played capatin's ball during dawn, and right after flag raising, the terror of terrors arrived. mr kiw. his name sounds kinda funny to me. yeah. he dresses funny, he looks funny. but i think he's quite nice actually. except for today. he specifically pointed out the two boys who were playing football in the classroom a week ago, which were of course, me and terence, and said that we lied to him. in the end, it was just some miscommunication and we managed to clear it with the om, but not with mr kiw, because, as usual, the guy was busy. argh. it was his business that got us into trouble in the first place. he needs an assistant. we better clear it up tomorrow. now the whole schools knows. hooray. anyway, after school, i went home with nick, ziluo and audrey. i made a trip to the library and borrowed two pc books for the fun of it. i plan to buy a new computer. hooray. i want the dell dimension 4600 i went home for lunch, which were two sardine sandwiches and a bowl of chicken noodle soup. nice. i like campbells. they make the best instant soup. i started doing irs and managed to complete everything by 1600 hours. then i did the touchup to my erp project, and printed it. just before flag rasing, two girls from 4K informed our class that we were to exchange classes with them because somebody in their class broke his/her leg. it's irritating. we have to walk 4 levels up and down everyday. :-( at least mdm john did not come, so we had 3 periods free. hooray. why is it that it almost always the sec 4's that get their legs broken? they are...reckless. argh. we had to move everything from our class to theirs. WHY? WHY US? never mind. i just get used to it. assembly was kinda fun. the teacher told us about her love life and tried to persuade us that there were 3 kinds of love when we already knew it. but it was still interesting, and she even included jazz music in the background. during science, we went to the computer lab, now just at our doorstep, literally. i guess very few people was listening to the lesson: davin, who sat beside me, was chatting with his counterstrike friend from canada, and a few others were checking their mail and playing little fighter 2. i was playing pinball. yay. i got a million. after school, we all went to cheers for lunch. and then i took the mrt home with amanda, ziluo and wen quan. i met elena from rgs-taonan, i don't know her too well. she is one of those who believes i like shauna. :S anyway, i got home in time to study a bit of history for the test on wednesday. and then i installed combat flight simulator. the first version. it's normal. the graphics are much more impressive than wwii fighters, but gameplay and interface sucks. i still prefer wwii fighters, cos it packs so much inot so little. it includes an encyclopedia, on wwii, videos, pictures, interviews and basically everything you need to learn about air warfare in world war two. its still one of my favourites even after 2 years. usually, i get bored of teh games i buy after 1 year. hooray. i better start thinking of ideas for my projects then...

the school was an ocean of white and red today. red shirts and white shirts and uniforms. the opening ceremony was as usual long and boring. the speech this year was 10 minutes long. it was only 3-5 minutes last year. damn. the concert seemed normal. not good nor bad. some parts were boring but some were fun. after the concert, we went back to class to do some fabricy stuff. mine sucked. im not good at that kind of stuff. after school, the english drama society sec 4 farewell party started off with lunch. an array of custard puffs, cupcakes, noodles, chicken drumsticks and chrysemtenum tea was displayed and everyone gobbled it up. one last minute rehersal and we were off onto the stage. the other levels started off first and changes venues every few minutes. when it got to our turn, we ended up at the wall-less classroom on level 4. our sketch did not go smoothly as we expected, but improvisation came in handy. in the end, most of us did not screw up, except for bits that the audience did not notice. they gave us lots of encouragement on our first act. hooray. i didn't screw up today. yay. after the acts, there was lots of stuff like forcing two couples to kiss (and i guess we have to do that in sec 3-4) and cheering. what a fun day...

i was very tired yesterday, so i slept until 5:45 today instead of the usual 5:20. so i didn't take the school bus. so my dad had to fetch me to school. i just love the radio in the morn. it plays better music than at night. on the way, i spotted shauna waiting for a bus to come, but i was too lazy to stop and say hello. i reached school at 6:30. there was very little people around and my class was empty. davin, who thought he would be the first to come, arrived 10 minutes after me. then ziluo, then munyi, then amanda. in the end, we all went to play captain's ball. as usual. hooray. pe was kinda lame, we took our height and weights. i am 163cm tall and 44kg heavy. acceptable. yay. and i got silver for napfa. hooray. the maths common test was a real terror. i didn't do one question. for the first time i didnt do a question. damn damn damn. i hope i still passed. i have already lost 5 marks. argh. eds practice seemed much easier today. maybe because we have learnt the steps already. yay. but i still make careless mistakes. :-( i hope i don't screw up tomorrow...

we got so much homework today. 2 history worksheets, a history exam practice, a history project, a geography presentation, adding to the already present unseen poem, two reading projects, a research report, and a creative portfolio. i don't know if i can cope with all this. all of it to be handed in 2 weeks time, half of the load in one week. and we had eds rehersal today until 6. i had to do chinese project yesterday, till 6. tomorrow is the full rehearsal. friday we have to stay back to perform. i've only got saturday to finish EVERYTHING, because i have to go to church on Sunday, unless i skip it. argh, this is the first time i have felt stressed. i managed to finish the previous load of homework and one day after that, i get a second one...

happy birthday shauna. yay. not so yay because the damned idiots at the Recording Industry Association in Sinagpore just went on an all out search to find and catch and fine and fetch all the illegal music downloaders. like me. last time, that is. i had to uninstall kazaa lite. they said kazaa was illegal. but what about kazaa lite? i guess its illegal too. i can't download mp3's anymore. :( *boohoo* i need kazaa. music piracy rocks. screw all the guys at rias. anyway, besides all these anti-anti-music piracy stuff, i had quite a great day today. school was normal and lunch was good. except for the part when wen quan tried to make a wet spot on my shorts with his super duper amazingly amazing water bottle with a hole in it. i managed to find my best choice of PC at courts but i still want the dell one. ineedanewcomputerineedanewcomputer...
seriously. windows 98 SE is getting outdated. i might as well wait for the next os to come out. oh yeah. maybe windows XXX. yay. :D. anyway. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAUNA, AMANDA AND WEN QUAN. YAY. YAYYAYYAYYAYYAYYAYYAYYAYYAYYAY. i think i'm starting to get influenced by ernest. somebody save me.

church was boring today, but some stories were quite humourous. after church, i went to parkway for lunch. i took a seafood rice burger. it was delicious, and expensive ($3.50!!!) but i still bought it. worth it, as one would say. when i met my dad, he gave me 50 dollars to buy a pair of school shoes and said that he would fetch me later at teh taxi stand. i chose a pair of shoes with one strap and a plastic slot for stuff. the plastic slot was kinda unique. i'm gonna put in the sign of markism. on the way to the taxi stand, i bought a pretzel, one of my favourite snacks.

my dad dropped me off at the library, and i returned my windows 98 book and borrowed a windows xp one. i am going to need a new computer very soon as this one is going to be outdated by late next year at least. maybe enot, but i still want a new computer. i walked home about a 2 kilometres as i gave up on the bus. when i got home, i started to watch memphis belle, about the crew of memphis belle on her final mission. yay. they made it home.

i went to macdonalds for dinner, and bought the new quarter pounder with cheese. it's not that fantastic, but is more filling than other burgers. its quite late now so i gotta go...hope tomorrow will be good.

events: gep chinese camp day 2, amanda's birthday
mood: happy, regretful
energy: 70%
time: 5:50pm

i woke at 7. feeling very sleepy cos i slept at 12 yesterday. but quite excited because i would be going to the chinese camp. i expected something great. something interesting. but i would be disappointed in the end, but not that much. my dad fteched me to rgs and i reached 10 minutes early. a few of my friends were already there. so we chatted while waiting for the others to come. nicholas started to persuade me to come along to orchard road to meet shauna and some of her friends, but it was time to start, and he would have his chance later. most of it was quite boring, but there was more hands-on today. i got paint and octopus ink in my fingernails, and chinese chants in my brain. the break was delicious. eggtarts and char siew baos filled me up, including a mentos from terence. i got a qoo file from a guy at the boys toilet. its so hard to find a boys toilet in a girls school.

the thing was over soon after 1230, and we managed to get out of the school. we missed the crowded 190 so we took 605. by this time, nicholas had managed to persuade me to tag along, if not he would drag me. i had no choice. or did i? heck, i just went along. it was a bit hard to find shauna and her friends in the middle of orchard road, so after some thinking, we decided to call her. what else could we do? go through every shopping mall in orchard road? in the end, we found that they had gone to borders, and i lead the way.

we entered borders. and walked through the whole bookshop, looking for them in the books section. in the end, we still could not find them, so we looked for a phone to call them with. i had remembered that there were 3 near the toilets, so we wnet there. the female toilet had eaten the telephones, and they were gone. before we continued on our quest, i went to the toilet, and then we continued. the kind cleaner told us that there were phones on the 2nd level, so we took the escalator. nicholas's handphone had already used up a lot of the battery, so i used my handy dandy phone card and called.

in the end me and nicholas managed to find them at the music section, which we left out on our search, but had passed by. it was time for lunch. there was shauna, her fren vera (i think i forgot her name, but i think its vera), and vera's ex-classmate darryl, from RI. but most of us weren't hungry, so we took a quick bite and a drink at coffee bean and tea leaf. i took my usual, a pure choco ice-blended. in search of something to do, the girls decided to go for a movie. so we just went along.

darryl had to go to school already, so he left us. me and nicholas werent too keen on wtaching a movie, but we still tagged along. we were hiding from the girls, who were ten metres in front of us. it was like some kind of secret mission, lame but fun. there was one point where we went to the facade of a shopping mall, just in time when shauna and vera turned back to see if we were behind them. of course we werent. we were beside them, just 2 metres away. they were like blind or something, and me and nicholas were laughing hard. in the end we popped up in front of them and they were kinda irritated, but just continued on their way.

we visited cathay and shaw towers, eventually they decided to go to shaw towers. i couldnt decide if we shoudl watcha movie, but me and nicholas backed out of the queue. when we decided to watch, the length of the queue behind the girls were two times of that in front of them, so we decided to go home instead. after bidding goodbye, nicholas went off to take a joyride and waste an hour of his life on the North East line. i was more sensible and went to the Apple Centre at wheelock place.

i got this free book on "setting up your power mac g4", even though i did not have a single apple computer. i called my dad to fetch and soon i was on my way home...what a wonderful day...

raffle's girls school is big. bigger than dunman high at least. they have their own macdonalds and popular. damn. anyway, after school terence's father fetched us to rgs for the gep chinese camp. we were a bit late but managed to catch part of the chinese names part. it sucked. i didnt understand much of it and it was quite boring, and the guy tried to make us laugh with his jokes, but they weren't funny enough. but i have to agree, the chinese naming "system" is quite interesting, but i still don't get what they do. there was some sort of break with rice dumplings and different types of kueh. i managed to meet some old shps frens and met joel and ben from taonan, by courtesy of terence. then there was a talk on chinese comics, by one "famous" comic author in singapore. i have one of his books and bought another one at the end of the talk for $5. he was interesting and much better than the chinese name thingy. his comics are nice, cute and basically good.

after the whole thing, most of us went our separate ways, except for those of us who took the bus/mrt home. i didn't know orchard road was so near rgs. amazing. they get 10 shoppings malls while we get a carpark-fast-food area. i wanted to go to borders to see stuff but it was kinda late, so we took the mrt home. it felt kind of weird today, maybe it's because everything was in a rush and everything was new to me :S . but i can't wait for tomorrow. it'll be fun, i hope, but the topics on the schedule seem to be boring even though i can't read them...
