why did i even stand up for you
I woke up to a great start haha. talked on the phone, then I decided to take a look at Switzerland. Went through 2 photo albums. I still can’t believe there’s such beautiful scenery left in the world. The never-ending skies, the green grass, snow, rolling hills, fluffy clouds, yellow flowers, quiet sleepy towns, mirror lakes. Wow. The thing is, my parents ALWAYS took photos that included at least one person (me). it’s the Singaporean syndrome of showing people that you have been to that place. That’s why now I take photos of pure scenery, cos everyone else is taking people and it’s pointless. haha also, they refused to use digicams. Everything in SLR which costs a hell lot to develop. Blehh.
I miss my childhood. Oh, and blame the low quality on the scanner and SLR.

Haha today went to school early! At 930, reached, then met mr lam with michh and Xh haha. then after that we joined jovena and marianne for physics with ms tey for a while. Then ss. wahh. Ss sucks lah. the geog part. Ms toh should cut down her notes. Really too many words liao. worse than Chinese notes. Haha. but at least we have notes =)
Went to jack’s place after school (again) with Xh, xx, nic, prema, jastine. Ohh the beef stroganoff spaghetti not bad, but the soup is obviously made from powder. Haha the beef tasted like it was from the hind. Those kind they give you in beef noodles. Haha then there were peaches in syrup and carnation milk! =)
And we went to library. Haha I finally get most of math. should be ok now. But I hope bio and ss will be ok. really a lot of stuff. blehh.

It doesn’t mean that the government can take advantage of the people’s favour for them, and curb such choice, such self-determination, such liberty. We are a free country.

Well today was fine. I went for an eye check. And my degree, really surprisingly, has improved. Now my left is perfect, and my right is 175, even though I didn’t do any vision therapy. Like I was too lazy to anyway. So it has decreased by 25 degrees. Therefore, my hopes of being a pilot aren’t dashed. =) woo.

I can’t see as well with my right eye as before. Left eye still perfect it seems. I better go for a check up. Soon enough when I have the results I can make a decision between pilot (current max degree is 500) and psychologist. Or maybe other stuff. maybe design. Aircraft design, architecture, art. Oh on a lighter note, my dad brought me to a Turkish restaurant at changi village for dinner. wootness. So I had kebab baked rice, which is quite different from the usual western kind (pastamania) but tastes wonderful. The beef kebab is like super tender, and doesn’t lose its taste at all. the mushroom soup was interesting. It looked like cream of mushroom, but they added a lot of unusual ingredients, but nice =) and the beef kebab pita is nice too. Haha quite exotic food. And delicious too. =)

I would rather confront you face to face. However, I did not chance upon your flame, but indeed, concerned friends brought it to my attention, so I am returning you the honour, thank you very much.
I am grateful to you for taking interest in my life. I am glad to say that as acquaintances (I fear using the term “friends”, as this might upset you), I have some interest in your life too, but this interest, most most unfortunately, is not positive. I am glad that you have successfully structured your argument that would garner you a top prize in a GP essay competition.
Well let us take a look at what started this whole angst-ridden personality issue of yours. It must have been that joke (read: joke) that I made a fateful Monday afternoon. Indeed, our socio-economic status came into deep question that moment, and I was just remarking, before you went off into a rant that would take unreasonable to whole new levels. I also remembered that I apologised, very clearly indeed, and you accepted it, unless you of course, being the hypocrite that you are, only accepted it so that you could stab me behind my back.
As to the whole issue on interactive online collections of materials and texts regarding our performance, I would like to state that that was also a remark, and indeed, that very evening, my own collection was up for the whole world to see, and you may want to check your evidence/sources (which would deduct many points in any essay test of yours – that’s a tip). And if I may, I also want to state a tiny note here that many people chose to upload their collections at the timing as stated on your post.
My personality is also questioned in your argument. Conceit, haughtiness, pride, arrogance, egocentrism, are some of the synonyms of the adjectives you used to describe me. I apologise for whatever I said to dampen your self-esteem, and I admit that I can get proud sometimes, but would you rather see me wallow in self-pity and angst (like you do)? I am sure you do not. I have taken care to choose my words, and I am trying, so give me a chance, like I have given you.
By the way, might I ask what hypocricy is? It does not ring a bell, I am truly sorry. From what you have written, hypocrisy is more like it? Ah. I should have guessed. Well, whatever you choose to say, I do not act cool, I am not a poser, unlike you, of course. Could one not try to make others happy? I think I have stated this before, but my lifelong dream is to see everyone happy. Maybe I might be failing at that, but I am trying. I want to see people laugh. And might I ask how I have “acted cool”, if to put it in degrading slang (ie degrading yourself).
I am amused by the way you call your friends bastards. Or are we not your friends? Well, in that case, I have very good news for you. 80% of our community does not accept you as a friend, or in other cases, hate you. The other 20% do not love you, and think that you are tolerable. I do not outrightly express my feelings as I do not want to hurt you (see: my lifelong dream), and I do realise that I have told you what I thought badly of you one evening on the way home in a Mass Rapid Transit train, so please avoid calling me a hypocrite, I do know my weaknesses.
I, of course, noticed what you said about me purchasing jewelry for others. I know it might be inappropriate at times, but you do understand that I am only appreciating the friendship that some individuals have given me, and it is but a token of thanks. My choice of jewelry, in fact, is because I have taken great care in scrutinising what one might call “wishlists” of these individuals, to avoid giving them something they would find useless or something they might not fully appreciate, and found that such items actually fit what they want perfectly. I actually care to choose and spend the money because I truly appreciate them.
I do not buy friends. Friends cannot (read: cannot) be bought. Please see my last post. Friends (repeat) cannot be bought. The one thing I treasure most is a true friendship, the one thing I hate most is an artificial friendship, like the many that you make just to get it on with members of the opposite sex. And of course, I do not try to look good just to impress others, has hygiene ever come to your mind? Maybe not. I wonder what you mean by cutting out friendships, have I ever done that? I have only experience the weakening of friendships due to a lack of contact or under unforeseen circumstances.
I am glad that I am not as hypocritical (note: my accurate spelling, you might want to study a dictionary to boost your grasp of the English language) as you, and not as cowardly. I have not commented on your blog, and I do not intend too. It would be a waste of my precious bandwidth if I spent it on you, however, I appreciate the individuals who have chosen to comment on you, at least they take an interest in you too, no? Heh. I got a demo of Dragonshard at Challenger yesterday. Just tried it out. It’s quite cool, comparable or even better than warcraft iii. http://www.atari.com/dragonshard/ that’s the site. The demo hasn’t been made available online yet though. The graphics are great, the plot, gameplay quite similar to warcraft. It’s based on Dungeons and Dragons, so rather similar to wc. In fact, wc was actually a ripoff of d&d, though most people are unwilling to accept it. I’d rather play fps anyway. Rts too sian liao.
Today was quite fine. Ahaha. We got back CA2 results. Woo. IM, lang arts, chem, electives. Ohh nanotech is like fun lah. But mr lim says he graded us already. And like he had to cram the whole 5-week course on carbon nano into today’s lesson. Lol. Nanotech’s quite interesting…
Went for the lang arts lecture. When me and naz arrived, koh came in and he was like oh that’s great, just a small group, cos only 4 of us were there. Then in one minute 20+ others arrived. Lol. It’s good lah. A summarisation of the lessons. So it’s good revision, not remedial. Yupp
My dad brought me to some place for pig’s organs soup. Wahh. Disgusting. But I like the taupok. And meat. But the pig’s intestines, which used to be my fave until I realised what they were, are like disgusting. =(

My parents wanted to bring me for lunch at some English Pub in Greenwood, but the kitchen's closed on weekends, so we went to Tanglin Mall. Then after lunch went shopping at the supermarket.
(Oh man. Another led zep classic =) Using a violin bow on an elec guitar, creating one of the signature sounds of alternative rock. Beautiful. It can also be heard in radiohead. In fact, it actually sounds like radiohead oO)
I realised that tanglin mall is like total expat place. They sell all the quaint brit and german stuff. It's a great place. Like buying from mark's and spencers. I din't know my parents actually go grocery shopping there. Cool. Woo. And they sell nice rye bread and chocs and cereal. =) And it reminds me of France! Like all the grapes and pinewood and wine. =)
Went to Borders after that. Haha after some browsing, I was about to buy a random smooth jazz cd. Then I sampled it and I realised I don't really like those kind of frank sinatra, big band stuff. Haha so I bought a nice bossa nova cd =) A newly released collection. Yay. This is the mark of my getting over westlife fanboyism. =)

Changed the table, changed the arrangement. Now I don't kick the CPU or subwoofer anymore. And I can stretch my legs =) Haha but the printer (I can't believe I bought a scanner just for the webfolio oO) and subwoofer are blocking the gold Lancaster poster! Haha I have a RSAF F-16 model on top of the subwoofer, and a LEGO fast interceptor too.
As with my personal style of having everything within reach, my favourite/burned audio cds are stack in envelopes in front, as with batteries, deco, Ben and Jerry's covers, a silver pen, my fave game cds (ie gtavc, cs:cz, call of duty, ahaha), a backup dvd of important.. documents, hi-card that came from the NIbloggingcompetition, a copy of the cd I made for vj drama farewall, hp-to-pc wire, usb cable. Yupp. All these are in front of me.
The right flank is about a metre away from me. This is VIP Japan Trip memorabilia =) , peripherals for reference, accesories for my digicam and hp, printing/plain paper, high quality 100gsm conqueror paper, blank cd-rs, cd-r envelopes, and of course, the home phone.
The right flank is also complemented by a coffee table which ALWAYS has food and drinks on it, and this is where I take my 4 suppers (yes, 4 now) . It sustains me through long hours of work (ie cs ahaha) and chatting and talking on the phone. Regulars are kiwis, pears, cake, bread, soup, cereal, oatmeal, cheese, aloe vera, green tea and the omnipresent water. =)
That is the definitive description of where I have spent 1/5 of this year. =) It is where my life progresses. It is the infocentre. It is where I go through many of my ups and downs. AHH. I'm just bored. oO

so i flew the f-35 to 2000, then e (eject) out, freefall, then the plane approaches and with somewhat super accurate timing, i press e again and enter, then repeat this 4 times. i screenshotted all the way, but yah.
this is my 1st approach, there's a glitch in bf2 where you can't your weapon or even see it beyond 1500. blehh, if not i would try shooting the plane out. heh.
this is my 4th approach, before my next try in which i got knocked out by the plane. lol =)
Update: My goodness. My printer prints faster than the class' laser printer. wootness!

So today, I went down to COMEX with my parents. That must have been my shortest stay there ever. We took 0 minutes choosing the printer (sometimes instincts and gut feelings work) 2 minutes buying, then walking out. Wahh. So sad. Never see comp games, never see laptops.
Oh btw, I didn’t get a Tablet PC. My parents were like Mark you want to buy a tablet pc for the sake of buying one, and you have this pc already. but wow, my pc specs are like super nice lah. especially the 1gb ram. =) so we just got an all-in-one. Traded in the 5-year old, yet trusty and hardy canon 265-sp (special) for the newly released canon mp130 photo all-in-one. Wheeness. It rocks lah. now I won’t have to develop my photos liao.
Let me tell you the story of how I came to like Latin Jazz. =)
I loved hotel music from young, having been to resorts every month when I was 3 years old, then every holiday when I started going to school, then all over the world, from Lucerne to Honolulu. I love hotel music, but I could not find the proper term to describe it.
I tried café music, but it was different, albeit smoothly nice. I tried hotel music, and chanced upon Jazz. Oh sweet Jazz – I was a lover ever since. Pop and rock and whatever other type of music (except Alternative, of course) were replaced by Jazz as the number one music I love. =)
Then I browsed through all the different sorts of Jazz, and found Latin Jazz - the upbeat, soul-stirring music made of exotic percussions, electric guitars (or the average guitar), and a refreshing mix of tunes, characteristic of jazz played in hotel lounges, accompanied by a glass of peppermint liquor. Oh love =)
I listen to it when I’m happy, when I need something that keeps up with my emotions, when I’m sad and need something to cheer me up, latin jazz suits any mood. It’s great. =)

I must justify something. I admit I spent 1.25 hours on ss test 2, but that includes the time I spent drinking a (very delicious) frappucino at Starbucks, and the length of my script is the same as that of test 1, which I did in 1 hr. So sorry guys, know I went above limit. Blehh. I don't feel very good knowing that my full marks could have come from breaking the time limit by 15 minutes. oO. Overkill. Hmm.

Then top 3 for 2 more, and 4th overall so of cos happie lah. Besides my human ego, Praise God, of course =) I hope everyone is happie with their marks =) if not, remember that grades ain’t everything.
