The Chronicles of Mark is a collection of texts that Mark Heng has written over the first 15 years of his life.

It comprises of fifteen journals from his primary school life, filled with entries that are the epitome of one’s childhood years of innocence and playfulness, two students handbooks from the years 2003 and 2004, that chronicled his life through hand-drawn images – of politics, creativity, abstract, life, love, experiences and his subconscious mind.

With 5 blogs under his belt, Mark was an experienced blogger, chronicling every single day of his life from March 2003, sometimes even up to 10 entries in a day, and it also showed his psychological stability (or lack of) and was an outpouring of his emotions and thoughts.

The 3 notebook diaries that Mark Heng kept in the year 2005 are chock-full of secrets that few people have ever known or even thought of. This is the prized possession of any owner of the Chronicles of Mark.

The collection has been rated 5/5stars, and is definitely a great buy for those who wish to understand Mark Heng’s life, love, thoughts, emotions. Everything you ever wanted to know about Mark Heng, all in one great collection – The Chronicles of Mark.

haha my fave song now is I Wanna Know by Joe. =)

I wanna know what turns you on
So I can be all that and more
I'd like to know what makes you cry
So I can be the one who always makes you smile

Tell me what I gotta do to please you
Baby anything you say I'll do
Cause I only wanna make you happy
From the bottom of my heart, it's true

lol larh. Today quite sian. Went for careers fair. My dreams and hopes of becoming an air force pilot are rapidly becoming dashed. It seems so damned hard to even become a pilot. I know I’ll enjoy it, it’s been my life-dream. It’s my ambition. It’s my DESTINY. Haii. Then came koh during t42 and that dude at the air force booth – “It’s very very hard”. crap larh. HOW???? I MUST be a pilot! =( sigh. Dunno how I’d cope if I couldn’t become one. Heh.

Spent the day doing ss.
andhelpingsomeonetoo!
Now it’s time to start bio.

I’m so dying.

Still got Chinese letter to write.

And ting xie to learn.

ARGH. =(

Damn. Bf2 pwns larh. Yesterday and today, I went sniping instead of sieging. Wah damn pro lah. I’d drop from the blackhawk in some deserted place, then sneak into enemy territory. With such stealth that even though the place was swarming with mec troops, none of them saw me.

Then take out that beautiful m24. and just keep shooting and shooting. And they’ll go running about and ‘nading everywhere. Until someone who got killed by me 5 times in a row finally spotted me and they charged at me, trampling my body as the stampede went past.

My status in bf2 has shot up over the past 3 days because of my kills in the f-35 and in the aa turret on the uss essex, and also because of my sniping and scouting. Haha even got compliment. Happy sia. Finally one game i won’t get pwned at. As in won’t get pwned THAT badly. My cs is so bad i actually lost to bots in my last game. Haha bf2 is better. More strategy. Loving it.

Woo. I love being behind enemy lines. It’s different from charging with squads. Being the one-man show takes more alertness and efficiency. Heh. I shall practice that. And one day, if I don’t become a pilot, I will become a sniper.

Ohhh. Careers fair tmr. Lol. dunno lah. my first choice civilian job is psychology. Yupp haha =) woot.

And now I’m happy
Even though nothing much is right
I’m just trying to get over you
And everything will be fine

=)

Wah today fun larh. school started at 9:15 am, so we went for breakfast at siglap centre mcd. Lol larh. mix together all the sauces into nazri’s tea. Heh. Pe nubbad. Haha only had to run 2 rounds while the others ran 3. then after doing pushups and situps then go take the vballs out.

Then we played vball in a very informal manner with few rules = fun! =) and crazie too lol. and we played floorball versus v14! Haha first game of floorball since p5! Fun! Ss was boring tho. Wah siann. I rather learn new stuff about the wars. Boo.

Haha then went parkway for a while with the dhs ppl haha. Then I got restless and so went home with js. Ahaha. Then I realised I was so tired cos I slept on the bus. Then missed the stadium stop. Then missed the stop beside home. Lol larh. haha. 31 is too dangerous to take. 10 also. Safest is 18 and 69 where I have multiple stops. And if I go back with naz then it’s like he’ll whack me if I sleep. I think. oO.

Wahhh. So much homework. And tomorrow got careers fair. Lol.

Ahaha I wanted to write about my intro to class politics. Which I have never experienced before in such a huge degree. Haha it’s interesting. Budden I think I must try to concentrate on work. haha

and I will kiss this holy ground
cos I’m a believer
and these are the days we’re livin’ in
the years have come and gone
yet the memories we share
will never fade away

And the temperature was like nice. And the atmosphere was nice. And it was great lah. haha and the performance was nubbad! Haha. they zoomed on charissa! Lol. =)

Went for supper at bedok mcd. Wah eat finish then talk talk talk (about stuff) all the way until 1120. then took 69 home with naz. It’s 203 am now. Meeting at 8am. Sia lah. then naz said some malay ppl were like saying how come we in uniform still out so late. And next day is school day larh. wah.

Woot. My second and third aircraft kills in a f-35b in just 5 seconds. Haha and I’m pwning at the aa batteries. Keep on killing and killing until the enemy thought I was “hax0ring”. Lol larh. haha love bf2. and I sustained no damage. Whee =)

Chem. test seriously sucked lah. wah lao. Damn screwed. But I think I passed. But pass a bit not good enough simah. oO. haii. Then stay in school to make the gifts. Haha and now the videos seem a little screwed. The quality was lowered because of the comversion to vcd format. Bah. But nvm. It’s the memories that count haha. =)

So. Much. Homework.
- ss essay assignment: colonialism (fri)**
- bio assignment: digestion (mon2)*
- math remainder theorem assignment (mon2)*
- Chinese letter (mon2)*
- Chem worksheet : gases (wed2)
- Bio project = argh guys are we screwed? Supposed to start building model this week lehh

when you're hurting me so.
when you're with somebody else.
why do i love you.
why.

Lol larh. today so hectic. First all the Chinese assignments came back. Haha quite happie with my marks. But they’re just assignments. Hope this pulls up my dismal test grade. Lang arts test was effing ghey. Wah kao. But still fine. I’m afraid I wrote too much crap. Just keep writing and writing, but dunno if what I write is correct or appropriate. Just gotta cross fingers and have faith.

Presented German unification. Lol lah. all the weird German words. Haha but I really like our powerpoint haha =) woot great job group 4! =) haha then im we went to v28 com lab. Fast coms there. Then procrastinate, but eventually finished IM survey questions. Ahah I just did the survey thing. and its 1146. and I haven’t studied chem. argh.
And she was there. She was there.
Then went back to comlab to choose photos. Haha xtine and prema chose the photos while I slacked. I just sacrificed my studying time to finish my very first homemade video. Im rather satisfied with the results haha. especially the intro thing. and the accuracy of the duration of music. Wooot.

Ok. better study chem..

1850

the sun was gleamed
upon the metal laminates
the sky glowed like wine
the birth of a twilight

the time was a thousand
eight hundred and fifty
and we were beside that tarn
and I saw you walk away

so near my home, where my heart is
I feel your presence within my reach
yet you’re so distant, in that wintry land
cos I saw you walking away

you’re living among the stars
by that park we once strolled in
the lake that brought us life
our motherland in the east

nevertheless I saw your figure
so empty of me
and you did not see me
as I watched you walk away

the muscle motor runs
the sun slides into darkness
I see my reflection in the pane
and I perceive your image in the stars

and I see you with him
with him
with him
with him

you didn't tell me the truth
but now I know everything
I don't know what to believe
you. with him

you.jhis
you.jhis love
you.jhis girl.
please.

sia lah. So much work now. Damn. Studying for lang arts trying to blog at same time. Wahh. Today quite sian haha. then after school got napfa retest. I was like whadda hell larh. we’re supposed to take the stations we “failed” first. I took my shuttle run, and easily got a B with 10.4 s, and I even paused lehh. Wahhh. That means I can still get 9+ if I tried harder and didn’t stumble when stopping.

WAH. First try B lehhh. Wah lao. Then must retake whole napfa. Not my fault I didn’t go for single item retest right! Boo. Ok, so it’s my fault I didn’t arrange for another day. my sbjump a bit kok. D only. Wahh. Next week, I shall run 2.4km with aaron, and retake sbj. I WANT MY GOLD AND 20 POINTS. Here I come! (note: missed gold for 2.4km by 5 secs. I need a watch next Monday =) )

Haii. Time to study. Haha. I wonder what people think of my poems. I craft them out of emotion and the urge to write something. lol tag kk? =) sian lah. so bored. And tmr is the first more-than-an-hour test this year, I think. Ahhh gonna die!!! Ahh cannot say that. Haha I will get full marks! =) ahhh. Bah. Boo. Im still at handout 1. oO

Two days ago, Longhorn was given its official name – Windows Vista, the next OS Microsoft is releasing.

“The folks at Redmond have long pointed to the user interface of the next
generation Windows release as one of its major selling points. Now, Microsoft has chosen an official name for Longhorn with just
that in mind. Enter: Windows Vista.
...
Longhorn, or Windows Vista,
Beta 1 will be available by August 3, Microsoft said Friday. Beta 2 is expected
in early 2006, with the final next generation Windows release expected by the
end of next year.”
lol. I’m waiting for Longhorn. And waiting. August 3. That’s next next Tuesday. Woot. The previews of Longhorn are definitely spectacular. And I like the name Windows Vista. Lol informal name is Windows VI.

heh. My parents brought me to a smallish dilapidated completely Malay food centre at Labrador. Haha food quite nice. But oily. And not as good as VJC’s malay food. =)

then went to queensway for first time. Wah seh go sportslink. My dad frequents that place for soccer stuff for the church’s 3 teams. Wah. Thot he not in charge of the teams liao. still play soccer at his age. Bought nike running shoes for tmr. Heh.

Then played bf2 multiplayer (see previous posts) woot. Bf2 rocks.

I miss our innocence
I miss our carefree spirit
I miss our lack of self-consciousness
I miss our craving for knowledge
I miss our playfulness
I miss our respectfulness
I miss our first few shots at love
I miss our first few shots at politics
I miss our Aeroquile
I miss our friendships
I miss our memories
I miss our good ol’ days
I miss our days at shps

I was telling Xh and aaron yesterday about how last time, everything was so innocent, and we were so free from the influences of trends and cliques and all that crap. Now everything's about style, aiming to be better than others, all about infatuations and finding true love, finding the right clothes, finding the right hairstyle.

I guess times change. We were so young and carefree and didn't give a damn what others thought of us. Now things have change. It's all so superficial. It's all so impressionist. Everything's about the exterior, then what's inside.

Why.
Just tell me why.

woo. aircraft carriers and 2 yf-22 jsfs!
i would have gotten the really cool shots from the gunner's position in the super cobra, but was too busy seiging the middle east coalition airbase with hellfire missiles. woo. you should see those missile camera shots. just like in iraq. =)

ahaha. then bf2 cocked up. and now im experiencing the same problem i had with my old com. the @ sign is mixed up with " . damn.

thismonochromeworldofmine

Woah. What a day. haha so I went to school to help out for the VIP admission tests.

First thing that happened: I left my mp3 player at home. Bad sign. So without the blaring music, I fell asleep on 31. And I woke up and realised I was at old airport road. And I had to cross the road, wait for another 31 and take is all the way back to vjc. Lol larh.

Second thing: a hell lot more students than last year. We helped them get sorted out, and gave them refreshments.

Third thing: compared to last year, apparently this year’s candidates took way less refreshments, leaving a surplus enough for our lunch (but of course, a sugar-high, unhealthy one). Heard that us (ie last year’s candidates) rushed for the food and they had to keep on serving us and preparing more food. This year, we rushed to give them food. Lol

Fourth thing: packed the tables and chairs in the hall while listening to “you and me” on daniel’s hp which was beside the microphone. Lol larh. like stereo surround sound radio liddat. And the tables and chairs are heavy larh. especially when you try to carry 10 chairs stacked, 1.5 times your height, on your own.

Fifth thing: went to parkway with michh, Xh, laura and aaron ng. Haha ate at pastamania. Woo. Baked rice with lots of cheese is niceee! =)

Sixth thing: me and Xh finally watched war of the worlds! Haha and with aaron! After dunno how long larh. since the last day of week 1. haha. yayy Xh! Yayy aaron! Ahaha I remember sakae sushi! =)

the movie not bad larh. but we sat at first row, desperate to watch the movie, despite rocket-high prices ($$$9.50) sia larh. haha. and like super loud lah. and must tilt head throughout movie. Best method = lie on chair so then you face diagonally up.

Haha then went home lorh. Haha. yayy. quite happie. But I feel I’m very insecure. oO. and too sensitive. I’d rather be sensitive and emotional than insensitive. I hate insensitive btards. There’s a time to stop joking. Yupp. Haha

And my card is the King of Hearts!

Yay.

=)

And only you can save me
Save me from myself
When will I wake up
From my childish dreams of play

“I’ve tried to go on like I never knew you
I’m awake but my world is half asleep
I pray for this heart to be unbroken
But without you all I’m going to be is incomplete

I don’t mean to drag it on, but I can’t seem to let you go
I don’t want to make you face this world alone
I want to let you go (alone)”
- Incomplete – Backstreet Boys

Bound

You’ve always been
Running through my mind
I try so hard to forget
The affection that I feel

But your image haunts me
Haunts my mind incessantly
That saccharine smile
Has imprisoned my heart

You are the missing remedy
To the enigma that is my heart
And when that bit is found
True bliss will come to us

I try so hard to let it go
But this affection is insatiable
And what can I do?
Only to be guilty of loving you

Gotta rest for a bit from homework. What a mighty fine day. PE was fun larh. Finally playing vball haha. but I think we should play floorball. I think most people rather play bball ,soccer or floorball haha but vball is fun larh.

The cultural fiesta was quite good haha. What dances. What weddings. Haha and the CO thing was nice heh. Went shooting at 235. shot at 3. haii nubbad larh. 44/100. haha. then james koh shot pistol. Lolness larh. oO.

Did some work, then went to parkway with xtine, ch and yirui. Lol. good luck to the amazing race teams! =)

Artificial World 1.5

Truth is relative
Lies are absolute
Love is conditional
Infatuations are unlimited
What has our world become?
This artificial world of ours

Photos updated at http://www.flickr.com/photos/markhsx/ =)

Today was interesting. Heh. I had some trouble staying awake during bio, the start of The Marathon (6 period stretch of lessons). But physics and Chinese were fine. Becos xtine whacked me when I was “falling asleep” the n I saw stuff then I freaked out then I slumped on the table again then wrote notes. Lolness lah. and physics today was very noisy haha. funkeh.

Stayed in school for quite a while. Me jared and naz (and maybe some other guys) *tried* to sing the reason and other songs. And I failed miserably. Besides the fact that I can reached a higher pitch than other guys. Which is quite… queer (as in weird, not gay oO)

Heh. The sirloin steak at east coast is good. Nubbad lah. but the steak and wine at RTC is nicer. But expensive. But nice. Lol. I forgot what I wanted to blog about. Lol.

Haha try to read the “doodles” thing at my flickr account =) : http://www.flickr.com/photos/markhsx/26837449

Update: I'm trying to find Singapore's new Changi East airbase on GoogleEarth. The government's keeping hush-hush about it, but my dad drove past it and we got a good look at its underground hangar (hell, we're not even supposed to know this. guess those men in black will come take me away at midnight oO)

It's covered by clouds in GoogleEarth (out dear PAP's job, presumably?) lol. I'll wait for new cache of photos. then I will reveal Singapore's greatest military secret 9with evidence, of course) since the inception of the Special Forces lol.

“You Are Victorious!”

Wah. Damn pissed larh. I finished such a long battle then never save. Sia larh. One territory to regain again. Lol. At least I still have all of Greece. And no loss yet. Planning to attack the Persians, but they’re damn strong. And those elephants are fierce. Hmm. Tomorrow then.

Well today was fine haha. Nothing that interesting except during the breaks. But nothing blog-worthy. Yeah. Lol. koh put up a notice saying he’d take away our class com (essentially our lifeblood) if any other teacher caught us playing games.

Next week’s gonna be a busy one. Hell. Two tests. 3 projects ongoing. With homework on the side.

Ah but I have GoogleEarth! And damn is it cool. Satellite images of EVERY place on the earth. But of course, you need internet access. Cos so many images of different qualities means terabytes of stuff.

You can “fly” around the world, and zoom in on individual buildings. Ganesh first showed my Liberty Island with the status of liberty on it. Then I zoomed onto the Eiffel Tower, my home and just went around the world. Damn damn damn nice. Then activate 3D buildings. And you see the 3D world in what is very much the shape that it is (building shapes are accurate). Of course only big cities have 3D buildings done. New york etc. The others will take lots of time.

It’s already amazing.
GoogleEarth.
Amaze yourself.

Stander

I am the silent bystander
I am the silent audience
Wisps of jet-black hair
Stroke his trembling face
Sweet nothings float into his ear
He cries out in nameless bliss
And nothing else
The wind rustles my hair
On its streams
It brings no comfort to me
It streaks through my soul
My tears stream in blissful agony
Sky’s dark. So dark.
The crackle of parch
As bodies bear down on
I see nothing but shadows
Hear nothing but the silence
I feel nothing but the heat
And the heat is killing me
Killing me softly
Your heat
With its sweet song
You
And him
Me, I’m nothing
Just empty wishes
Just love, unrequited
Just the stander
The silent bystander
The silenced bystander

"I live to be around you
You take my breath away
Can't help but talk about you
Every night and day

When the eagles forget how to fly
And it's twenty below in July
And when violets turn red
And roses turn blue
I'll be still in love with you"

Whispers In The Subway

His body rolls in angst
Distraught, paces away
The winds caress him
They beckon for comfort
Whimpers heal the pain
Implicit undertones
Heartbreak, one thing
And he doesn’t know why
Maybe one day he’ll fly
Maybe one day he’ll understand
The branches grasp
Strangling the breeze
They howl for there is pain
And then there is
Heartbreak
His body is limp
Lifeless, a lack of energy
An endless torment
He falls to the ground
So ridded of the life
Once so full of
Now
Just empty
Lies
All of them
Lies

LOL. Today was the most random day I’ve experienced (even more random than LRT day – the day me, Xh and xtine took LRT for fun) So me and Xh were supposed to watch war of the worlds (since like last week?) this Thursday then miss low, during ct, was like they’re giving free pairs of tickets to any movie at cathay cinemas. (cos it’s their anniversary)

Then we were like happie =) and we got aaron. And we went (I had to wait till 6 lorh) to Cathay Cineplex (RANDOM larh. School day somemore). We ran all the way from the MRT to cine because it was already 7 (when war of the worlds was starting) and rushed all the way to the counter. Then the guy said all seats in the 7-9pm range were booked and we could try out midnight show, with a oO look in his eyes. Lols.

Dejection, life a lie. What can we do? haha so we went for dinner at Wheelock Place Sakae Sushi (random duh, enter at first sight) ahaha and it was quite nice =) haha I was happie because I ate sushi. Spent 10 on dinner.

Then we walked to Takashimaya. And there was a traumatizing experience. We were on this escalator outside the lingerie section of Marks and Spencer’s. And we saw this couple petting in front of us and they were like grabbing and kissing and they were in sch u and I was like XHHHHHHH omgoodness. And then I was like AAARRROOOONNNN ew. Lol.

So anyway. We went to the lib. And I borrowed nice books. And we ate desserts. Besides Xh haha. Then went home on mrt. What a long day. really really random larh. But quite fun =) happie =)

Reached home at 10 lol

Would you rather know the truth?
Or would you rather be happie?

Would you rather know the future?
Or would you rather have something to live for?

Would you rather die painfully with no regrets?
Or would you rather die painlessly full of regrets

Think.
Then think about me.
And maybe.
One day.
You’ll love me.

And we're all to blame

“How do you cope when
The one you love is with somebody else
And there's nothing you could do about it”
How To Deal – Frankie J

Today, I went for Singapore’s first official bloggercon at the DXO, a club near the esplanade. About 2/3 of the VJC blog team went there.

My official, more formal entry is here at the VJC blog: http://www.campusmoblog.com.sg/group/blog.asp?gid=1FEFE3A1-A007-405E-AE5B-63932F3EA256&bid=33EFCAA6-B9FD-49E8-B48F-9FDB97681A88

Heh. =)

With photos too! 5 photos there: The VJC blog team, Nic and Jia Yi with Kenny Sia, Nic and Jia Yi with Xia Xue, blog team with Mr Brown, and us, the VIP bloggers.

Larger photos uploaded at http://www.flickr.com/photos/markhsx . Yupp. Apparently I’m one of the only crazy ones who uploads new photos every day. And I’m starting to feel uncomfortable with flickr’s 200 photo limit for free accounts. Arghness

Here’s a snapshot of what it was like when VJC’s blog team was introduced. From Leslie, at our great VJC blog (http://blog.vjc.sg/) hope I don’t infringe copyrights:

“Everyone in DXO ( the club formerly known as Embassy, beside the Esplanade ) was silent as the mic was passed from one Victorian to the next. Slowly but steadily, it made its way down the row, until it finally reached the end, where Mark was seated. Having nobody else around him to pass the microphone to, Mark brought it to his mouth, and declared proudly, "We're the VJC blog team!"

Immediately, the silence was broken by the applause and cheer from the crowd. And that's how the VJC blogging team was introduced to the Singapore bloggersphere, or at least most of the big names in it…”

Oh and Leslie, I think it’s called the blogosphere. But whatever haha. It was great lah. I might as well paste my post here, but no photos…

“Today was a milestone for the Singaporean blogosphere. The very first official Singaporean blogging convention (and also the first blogging convention in the world to take place in a club) - Bloggers.SG 2005 - was held at the DXO, a club near the Esplanade. Quite a big event. Nice club too =) lol. They have bright lights and lots of nice deco and seats and stuff. woo.

The con was pretty interesting. And it was very amusing to read the live chat log of the IRC taking place while the talking was being done. Quite a lot of interesting things. And we got to print photos. And relish great food. The atmosphere was very light and informal and friendly. Club mah. nice.

The panel was mainly made up of techies or big-time bloggers. Mr Miyagi, Mr Brown, Daryl Sng (who was mobilised halfway through the thing. lol) and so on. Oh. And we got to promote VJC's moblog (ie this) too! lol. They asked for blogging communities. We were one. So after some nudge nudge I took the mic and intro-ed us. Then Mr Ng answered some questions.

They asked if anyone else was taking part in the NIBC (National Interschool Blogging Competition) and TJ's delegation, as we expected, answered. Heh. TJ. I think we might have gotten a few votes out of it. And maybe another unique hit or two.

It was basically quite interesting. Seeing all the tools and tweaks that bloggers use. Then the queries and legal stuff. DXO is not a bad club too. woo. And this is us, abandoned by teachers and seniors.”

Oh. And before we got into DXO, we huddled outside as Mr Chua read the first paragraph of his newly-bought Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (I'm not into Harry Potter though) then we took turns reading paragraphs. It was about soem ghey Prime Minister and a shadowy voice. Whatever lah haha. Too draggy. hmm.

We also went upstairs during the break and the deco is like super cool larh. Ohh. And we VIP bloggers got abandoned halfway through the bellydance. So we went home alone. But hell we had a lot of fun talking and gossiping and joking about Russell peters and vs guys and any ghey crap that came from our mouths (especially Daryl). Lol.

What a great day. I went to the lib and got a book. This week is gonna be rest week. And we’re supposed to start our IM survey, but haven’t. heh.

Lol. The VIP friendster account’s (http://www.friendster.com/user.php?uid=12745448) “about me” part has my

We don't have to rely on TV ads
We don't have to hang ads on the buses
We don't have to do any of these
Because we're already better than everyone else
Because VJC rocks

VJC IP - because nothing else matters

Haha I think leon mans that account. Lolness. I realised I haven’t posted that thing here yet. So I’m gonna copy and paste my entry on open house day 2.

Today was the 2nd day of the VIP open house. So I was one of the presenters for the physics presentation. We presented 8 times. Rather tiring, but there was great satisfaction in hearing compliments and in successfully pulling it off.

According to the teachers and students, we (ie the whole IP and everyone who helped out =) )did a great job! So I guess that means the open house was successful. We also heard comments that the parents and students were impressed. And the mass dances really showed the power of the Victorian spirit! =)

Yet, I’m just not comfortable with seeing TA (ie TJC’s IP) people walk by and stare into our classrooms. Just like spies. But I refrain because the teachers had already warned us. Apparently it’s a common thing.

Besides that, I think the Victorian Spirit was really burning today and yesterday, just like any other day – it never dies - unbeatble, undying, unending. This is why VJC is the best. Thanks to everyone who made it such a huge success! VIP-ers, J1s, J2s, the whole VJC community, teachers, staff... this is really one big achievement that will never be forgotten.

I can proudly say that I am truly proud to be a Victorian and be part of VJC IP.

We don't have to rely on TV ads
We don't have to hang ads on the buses
We don't have to do any of these
Because we're already better than everyone else
Because VJC rocks

VJC IP - because nothing else matters

Woo. =) haii. Trying not to think about stuff haha

and i still love you.
i just can't.
just can't get over you.

I need to get over it.
I need to move on.
It’s no point dwelling on it.
But how will I save my heart.
And I know you’re here.
But you’re just silent.
Just telling me
We don’t belong together.
I’m sorry I ever loved you.
You can say I’m crazy
That’s right.
Cos I’m still crazy about you.

I added a note to ytd's post.

Well. today was weird. After yesterday, everything seems pointless now. I’ve got nothing to look forward to. When that happens, my life fills up with pointlessness.

PE sucked. Because I was reminded of my bronze. Wth larh. Just because I got a bronze for shuttle run because my shoes no grip de, then when I slide I slide way past the thingy. Haii. Then after that no chance to retake because of the press conference. AHHHHH. Gold gone just like that. Wahhh. So gotta retake. And I’m not 14 anymore. Hmm. This sucks. And I got less than 10s for shuttle run last year! I need new shoes before I die for napfa. =(

SS test was fine. A bit shocking, but fine otherwise. I’m apprehensive of the marks though. Haii. Lol. then I went for lunch with xtine and charissa to at 7-11. then there was bio meeting and moblog meeting. Ohhh. Cool cool. We got namecards for tomorrow’s conference. Wooo.

(image not that good because it's not a scan. it was taken with a digicam as a jpeg, not bmp, edited once, saved as a jpeg, resized, uploaded to flickr, and saved from flickr as bmp)

PS. Photos updated at http://www.flickr.com/photos/markhsx

Then went to parkway with Yvonne and ama. Lol met amayy and yh. Then shopped some. and went home. Life’s so empty now.

and i wish i had you
cos i'm still crazy about you

Oh god. It could have been a good day. IT COULD HAVE BEEN A FKING GOOD DAY. but hell, truth fking hurts don’t it. shit.

Nothing much special besides a full marks for math assignment and a 14/20 for physics which made me swear at my parents because they were saying that it was a good grade. What about birthday luck? Full of crap larh. It’s not ok. It’s really not ok this time. And I’m just keeping it all. It hurts. It hurts so much.

(edit: I'm not not ok because of the physics test. i'm not that crazy. geez. i passed. what else could i ask for? i'm hurting because of some other stuff.)

Save me.

Yeah, and I went shopping with Xh and charissa. It was quite good cos we ate at delifrance. And I was quite happie even though there’s ss test tmr.

I’m not ok. I’m not ok.

Because now I know the truth.
And the truth really hurts.
It tears me down
It tears me apart
And there's no way I could smile now.
I wish I could wake up
And realise how silly all this is.
You really shouldn't have seen those pictures
Because now you're killing me.
And I'm happy for you.
But I've gotta save myself.
And it's not ok.
I'm not ok.

This all effing sucks. And I wish things could change. But they never do.

I’m not ok.
Only you can save me.
But you can't now.
Not now.

01. Reply with your name and I will write a short phrase describing you.
02. I will then tell you what I admire about you.
03. I will make up a short drabble with the both of us in it.
04. I'll tell you the most memorable moment I've had with you.
05. I'll then tell you something that I've always wondered about you.

Listener

Look. Listen.
See him touching her
See him grabbing her
The noises
The voices

I’m the guy
Who has a name
And sometimes
It never rains
The fog clouds the window

Sometimes we say goodbye
Grasping away at our dreams
There’s still time
Now just fly me away
As I turn back to glance

I see you with him
There is comfort
But not for me
As he caresses you
Giggles elicited

Jealousy runs in veins
Like ice cold water
Why do you do this to me
But maybe, just maybe
What you said was true

One day
Across the meadows
Over the mountains
We’ll finally wake up
Realising how foolish we were

Haha we watched a short vidclip during chi. Nubbad bad for a black and white production. Lols. Yarh. Then lang arts nubbad cos we used laptops. And there were interesting videos on my group’s haha. =) then the Ethernet got stuck in the socket. And we had to unscrew the thing. and now the thing doesn’t have a cover lol.

Then ss and breaks were fine. Slacked a lot. Lols. And I played motas during break 2. got stuck at green wall first try. Then I too lazy to play liao haha. and no walkthrough horh! =) IM meeting got pessimistic towards the end. Suddenly there’s so much to do in so little time. And still got bio and math project. And ss tests on Friday. Arh. Stress sia.

I’m dying.

Somebody SAVE me.

=(

I dun like this. I hate it when I feel stressed. And that is very rarely. Arh.

Haha I remember open house first day. the vs guys were doing their cheer. Then suddenly the dhs people try to start their own cheer too. Seniors and juniors haha. budden in the end we sang dhs anthem. Lol.

Haii. Good days. now come the days of trial.

“Sometimes goodbye, though it hurts in your heart,
is the only way for destiny
Sometimes goodbye, though it hurts,
is the only way now for you and me
Though it's the hardest thing to say
I'll miss your love in every way
So say goodbye (so say goodbye)
But don't you cry
'cause true love never dies”
- Say Goodbye – S Club

This song brings back the memories. At the end of every year, this song would be played. From the time of SHPS prom nite, to the end period of DHS… it brings back the memories.

I remember dancing in the moonlight
I remember the candlelights
I remember the sweet, sad ballads
I remember going to Darho’s house
I remember playing mahjong
I remember watching movies
I remember eating tubs of ice cream
I remember the projects
I remember the achievements
I remember the gatherings
I remember the wind blowing in my hair
I remember my first time riding a bike
I remember the barbeques
I remember the smoke in our faces
I remember the night we did not sleep
I remember walking in the park at midnight

Haii. Good times. =)

There was something really nice I was gonna say, but I forgot. I guess we just have to move on =) cause even though we might be apart, the memories never part =)

(omg. IM reports are out! WOOOOOT)

I dun think the teachers read our VIP blogs. Maybe they dun have time. Haii. So pointless blogging haha. But I have a passion for blogging, so yarh, I just continue haha

And you didn’t know how you hurt me
You knew you hurt me
But you can’t take back the words you said
And this is how it ended up
Maybe I’m just blind
Nothing’s gonna change my love for you
You oughta know by now

Lol. Math was quite ok for me. Finally getting stuff. Wooty woots. Chinese was ghey!!! I didn’t bring my notes. And there are 54 words to study for ONE ke. Wahh. Haha physics and ss (take over chem.) were ok. ss is a repeat of what we learnt last year. Haha I dug out last year’s compiled notes on History. Quite good larh. =)

Haha break2 was lunch for me. Wah today best meal in school ever larh. Mussels leh. And chicken in my fave type of Chinese sauce. Wah. Shiok sia. Mussels lehhhh. Shellfish! I’m a huge fan of seafood. Haha CT period was interesting. I chose youth and children as my area of service. =) yupp. haha yayy

A newly released software from good ol’ M$ might really be useful for us students. It’s called Microsoft Student 2006 (I cringe at the lameness of its name)

The homepage for it is: http://www.microsoft.com/student/default.mspx

But the press release:
http://www.studentpresskit.com/

and factsheet:
http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/consumer/factsheets/Student06FS.mspx

…gives lots of info. It’s meant to enhance Microsoft Office, but has additional standalone features. I think it’ll be quite a great help, even though we’re quite experienced in some of the matters it covers.

Amazon.com’s http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0009KLGUO/ref=amb_center-3_10064221_3/102-5929644-4638558 gives good coverage.

Overview of features:

Learning
Essentials

Provides tools, templates and tutorials for the
applications students use most, like Microsoft® Word, Excel and PowerPoint®, to
help students create high quality reports and
presentations.

Graphing/Scientific Calculator
Software

Full-feature graphing calculator helps students visualize
and solve math and science problems.

Web
Companion

Provides editorially approved content without launching
additional applications when students search for information on the
internet.

Online Math Homework
Help

Step-by-step tutorials help students solve math questions
representing specific problems taken directly from popular math textbooks used
in schools.

Encarta Encyclopedia
Smart
searching enables students to instantly find rich, reliable and up-to-date
content on practically any subject.

Project
Starters

Tools and guides offer organized steps to help students
start and complete projects and reports.

I think this is what we’ve been subconsciously waiting for quite a long time. It’s top-priority together with Office 2003 on my wishlist. I hope Singapore will have promotion package for both together.

(photos updated at http://www.flickr.com/photos/markhsx - helmsman week 1, my fave shots from the time my parents dropped me off at 9am in the heart of Singapore, and cirrus clouds over vjc)

You people know that I’m not too supportive of VS, being an ex-Dunmanian and all. But I recognise the fact that VJC is here today, and is at its position today because of VS. And tradition must NOT be changed. Stick to the original VS-VJ anthem.

It’s not sexist.

We guys don’t complain if out school is named after a female. Queen Victoria. It doesn’t make us female. And the line “thy sons are we” do not make VJ girls female. And don’t change the uniform too. Maybe unless it’s for the better.

This is not an issue of sexuality-related bias. It’s an issue of keeping the tradition. Keeping the Victorian spirit burning. Keeping what Victorians from yesteryear meant it to be. This is an issue of keeping what VJ is known for. This is keeping VJC in our hearts.

VJC - because now, nothing else matters at all.

Three

I guess
I’m just leaving
My past
Empty

What we do in this world
What we do in the next
What counts, what doesn’t

What life is.
What love is.
What I am.

And I feel sick.
I don’t feel good
He’s right.
And I’m wrong
Cos now, he’s with her.

The centre cannot hold.
The centre cannot hold.
What am I doing here?

Staring at the moonlight
Wishing for a dance
A world of my own
Wishing upon M35
For a world of our own

He is watching.
And he will not let me go.

I guess
Nothing matters now.
So it endeth.
And let it be

Just flying down
The thump

Barely audible

From my entry at class blog:

“You've all seen the moblog competition ad during assembly. haha we must make vjc win!

From an email from the teacher ic:

These are the rankings as of noon on Saturday:

1. RJC Viewed 2256 times by 447 people , 110 members
2. ACJC Viewed 1161 times by 243 people, 44 members
3. VJC Viewed 879 times by 241 people, 74 members
4. AJC Viewed 993 times by 242 people, 46 members
5. YJC Viewed 1960 times by 239 people, 81 members

What we need to do:
1. vote via sms - send the message "Vote NIBC vjc" to 96183799.
2. visit our site - i think you need to register to do this.
3. try and refrain from visiting the other college blogs! =)

http://www.campusmoblog.com.sg/blog/vjc

haha we must beat rj!!! =) haha appreciate it if you would visit our blog. we need unique hits to win the popularity contest, not visits. haha so please do your part as a victorian!”

Now the rankings are actually:

01. Raffles JC
02. Victoria JC
03. Anglo-Chinese JC
04. Anderson JC
05. Yishun JC
06. Temasek JC
07. Innova JC
08. St. Andrew's JC
09. Nanyang JC

Ironically, VJC’s moblog and even RJC’s moblog is losing out to NYGH’s! oO. haha but now VJC is second among the JCs! W00t vjc rocks! And also because of the VIP Open House! Damn it was great, no?

Wahh. We had to wait for an hour. Impatient me lah. Haha. Then run here run there a bit. Saw a bit of the lang arts presentation. Then wait more. Then it started. 8 presentations! The most for today also! But 2 informal ones. So yarh. Haha =) happie! Then me and Eunice and a few others missed the mass dance and anthem. Haha but never mind. I know the Victorian Spirit was burning cos can hear even when we were in class. It was great =) w00t!

Woohoo! VJC IP rocks! And VJC too! Duh. Haha thanks to the seniors too! And all the VIP people! I think we really showed that VJC IP is THE choice. For there is no other. Heyy. Seriously, it was great larh. Haha. saw quite a lot of people =) woah. And yixiu and her bf too. Wahh. TA spies. Lol.

But still, VJC IP is the best. So nothing can bring us down. Nothing.

W00t.

Haha then went to PS with michh, Xh, xtine, laura, xx, sean, zhi quan, jastine. Haha we ate at food court after going around looking for an empty place to eat. I ate Indonesian food! Wah. Must recommend to my parents. (Update: My parents ate before liao oO) They’ll love it. heh. Oh Xh go try the Jurong Hill restaurant if you like Indonesian food =)

Then went shopping a bit with michh jastine and sean. And jastine was all WTF when I told him that some dhsgeppers played the guitar and drums. oO. what’s so surprising lor haha.

We went home on mrt without buying anything. Haha then jastine dropped at eunos. Then sean dropped at kem. Then michh left me all alone and lonely at tanah merah. Then I had time to think. So I thought from tanah merah to tamp. And I went to tamp library. Yayy! =)

Lalala. Today was nice! =) whee! Haha Xh we can watch war of the worlds next week =)

Wow. Today was a long long day. heh. It started off with math. haha I actually get quite a bit of inverse functions! But I’m gonna need more time to catch up in composite functions. Hmm.

Then pe was taken over by ss. and we listened to mr yang’s “stories” haha I think I knew most of it liao. since we did history drama on founding of Singapore. I’m still a supporter of john crawfurd. He’s too underrated. To me though, there’s not one true founder of Singapore, but all 3 of them (Raffles, Farquhar, Crawfurd) all played essential roles, and so did our forefathers. Kudos to them =)

Then open house preparations started. And we rehearsed 3 times. And we had a break during which I ate ben and jerry’s cookie dough. =) yayy! then the great thanasseelan son of varathan trip over a wire and broke a plasma ball. Haii. Then mr boy a bit pissed off. Budden ms tey still happie happie. Then we rehearsed one last time.

Then it started. there were people consistently coming. We presented 6 times, which I think is the most haha =) yayy great job Eunice! We had 3 “big” groups and 3 “small” groups. So yarh. Quite fun lah. But tiring. Then Eunice was zhao sia-ing during the last presentation haha. Jia you for tmr kk? =)

Then we did mass dance! Wah. Forget all the steps liao. And we smartly avoided the friendship dance. Hmm. =)

The day ended with a nearly vip dinner at parkway. But in classes lah. We had ours at bk after some deliberating. V11 was at kfc then some empty space near the fountain, V12 went to macdonalds, then the empty space outside it, and V14 was at the café at mph. Haha hmm. Then we plopped our butts at the republic theatre where there was the constant smell of durian.

Asked a few questions. Learnt a few stuff. Then went back with jared, darho, aud and tristan. Reached home at 11+ after walking with aud. Wah. Long day. But quite happie haha yayy =) jia you everyone for tmr! Gotta make it good! Here we go again!

London
The world is behind you
In this time of trials
Have no fear
For you, the world is here

Today was a rather bad day. haii.

(Note: more jap trip photos uploaded at http://www.flickr.com/photos/markhsx/)

I got a crash course on composite functions during math. Now we’re learning inverse functions.

Then after break (which was studying) there was the effed-up bio test. Crap lah. worst test in the week. Or maybe not as bad as Chinese. I got a GREAT 25/50. *refrains from vulgarities and rants*

Physics was fine. Haha ms tey is now mrs cheng.

Then it was open house prep. Haha rehearsed 3 times. My first rehearsal. Then a bit screwed cos I didn’t know we had to memorise script by today. We’re not memorizing script anyway. Just the points. I better not forget tomorrow.

Tomorrow’s the big day.

Then I stayed in class and cleared up a bit. Then on the way out I saw xx, prema, simran and sean walking to class. So I joined them. They deco-ed the class. Hope the photos are up =) great job ppl!

Went home with yh. There’s a sad thing going on. So yarh. Haii. Haha yh one day we’ll be happier =)

And I’m so scared I screwed up something that’s really really important to me. Really.

You, always in my heart
And I saw that
I wonder what you’re thinking now
I wonder what I did
You’re silent
So silent it hurts me

Hmm. Bio surprise test coming soon. Tomorrow? Maybe. Haii. So many tests. Hmm. It’s been an interesting day. In an “action”-packed week (youth day, Chinese test, chem test, Olympic stuff, CHAOS, open house and more)

No test during bio. Didn’t get to use laptop during lang arts. Chem test was easier than I expected, and came as quite a relief. But I killed my (rather slim) chance of getting full marks with my worst careless mistake ever. Haii. And I was so happie at the end of the test lorh.

It cost 2 marks, and most probably 2 more, out of 30. I’ll explain the mistake after the CHAOS people take it. I was super super pissed off at myself lah. Cos it was so effing obvious, then I go and write one whole paragraph for a 2 mark question, which was wrong, and this in turn would have affected the next question. Wahh. I tell you arh, can die de. So pissed at myself. =( WAHHH. Sniff.

We nanotech people went to support the vip’s CHAOS team. Haha got commendation (ie consolation) prize in the end. But I think the 4 of them are pretty happy with $25 borders vouchers each. Great effort people! =) I really liked the design.

RI won. Their’s was nubbad. Heh. And NJC IP got 2nd. They didn’t deserve it in my opinion. But it’s not good to slander others online without them knowing.

Hmm. The IOC’s decision was quite the talk of the day. From the morning till break1 we were talking about it. then we watched New York’s presentation on CNA in the canteen. I was like crap that’s good. It was a lot of “Our --- is yours” I like the last line “Our torch is yours” (ie statue of liberty). Great one.

I was impressed with NY’s presentation. But apparently my mum watched London’s and was superbly impressed. And she was like London’s gonna win. And me, being a faithful supporter of Paris from the start, was like NOOOO when they announced “London.” Now I owe Nazri an ice cream.

Our class generally supported/predicted London. My parents were for London. Apparently Singapore was for Paris. Hmm. Interesting. Haha. I think Paris put up a great fight. All the cities did. It’s quite heartbreaking to see so much effort (two years of hard work) go down the drain. But then again, it’s good promotion for the cities. Heh.

London 2012.
When will it be our turn?

Singapore ????.
Make us proud.

I REALLY should be studying chem, but hell, I feel like writing a poem. Here goes.

(based on a true story woooo.)

Anytime

The music plays on the radio
Crooning that sad sad tune
And I must say it broke my heart
To see you again today

To see your beautiful face
The face that captured my heart
And you came to tear it apart
And you might know

How much I really love you
How much it really hurts me
To see you with him
And three’s a crowd

I should be over you
But I can’t forget your face
It haunts me so deeply
Knowing that three’s a crowd

And you came today
I saw your face at the window
And I dared not look
‘Cos y’know, three’s a crowd

Accept my imperfections
That’s what love truly is
What can I do, so helpless now
But to only, truly love you

Do I ever cross your mind
Anytime
I wish I could call you
And talk for hours

I wish we were friends
I wish we were more than friends
I wish I didn’t know the truth
Three’s a crowd.

I've written better poems. Ahhh. I think I just don't want to study. I'm saving the title "Three" for a better poem. mm. and that ends off my 2nd poetry anthology called "Remixed". Which isn't as good as I would want t be. My best poems, are surprisingly written in my notebook. hmm. I'll type the nice ones out one day. =)

Oh. And I’m quite proud of my democracy piece below/ in the previous entry. I learnt something more today. =) back to studying chem!

I’m supposed to be studying but what the hell. This topic has been bugging me all day.

The age-old question: “Is Singapore REALLY democratic?

A quote from Wikipedia states that the Singaporean government “has been consistently rated by Transparency International as one of the most politically transparent and least corrupt governments in the world, but is also often being criticised for excessive interference in social issues.”

My first views (up till this afternoon) were generally that the Singaporean government is actually a totalitarian government, which disguises its despotism well, but has also been doing a great job of taking care of and developing the country.

Or maybe we’ve just been conditioned by the Ministry of Information and other government organisations to think that. (Note: Ministry of Information is the organisation the Ministry of Truth aka censorship dudes in George Orwell’s 1984 – a tale of dystopia - is based on)

On further thought, our society is definitely not a dystopia of totalitarianism, but of course, it also not a complete utopia of democracy and freedom of speech.

I see the “problem” of Singapore’s incomplete democratic status, or being recognised as a fully democratic state, as the result of censorship, be it by the government or self, and the presence of OB markers as assumed by Singaporeans, because of our mainstream society’s values and ideas of a perfect society. I also see it as a result of Singapore’s political scene or government being dominated by a single party, the PAP.

Compare Singapore to the UK or US, and we have only one major political party, unlike the other Western countries (which we hope to model after – white-man-is-superior syndrome) which have two or more left and right wing parties.

The fact that most totalitarian governments were formed due to just one party being in power, and with additional corruption or despotism (the other half of the ingredients needed, that Singapore apparently does not have now) makes many people jumpy.

Our government only lacks the additions to a single-party government to fall onto the path that leads to totalitarianism. This makes people cynical. My cry to the government is to remain on Transparency International’s list as “one of the most politically transparent and least corrupt governments in the world”. This is what is required now.

Secondly, censorship - I see the initial formation of censorship as more of our people’s part. Our “Eastern conservative values” have led our mainstream society (mainly the older generations who still retain Eastern values) to make the choice to censor such things as homosexuality, pornography, vulgarities and the like.

This is what the older generation (now I’m pinpointing something) thinks should be restricted from us youth “for our own good”. So our government takes this in mind. Most probably they only want to make their citizens happy. And thus, they have to censor what the majority of “stable” (we are mercurial, volatile beings, us youth) Singaporean society (ie the more conservative older generation) does not like.

If they don’t censor these and lay OB markers, there will be an outrage by the older people. And if they do, then us younger kids, like now, will criticise the government and say that their OB markers are unclear, are restrictive, and the like.

We are putting the PAP into a spot here. What will they choose then? They thus have to go with the older generation’s views because these people “know” what is good for society, and their experiences have taught them well etc. And we are still the immature kids, who just want fun, to them. And the adults who oppose such censorship and OB markers are the minority. What the government is doing is going the utilitarian way, and supporting the majority.

Majority wins, no?

And of course, we did choose the PAP to be our government, by the ultimately rational democratic system of voting and elections. Then we can’t really complain then, can we?

If we aren’t fully democratic, then we can’t blame the government for being all totalitarian (to put in an extreme way) and stuff, can we? We should first look at the choices our parents and grandparents made. And understand that they only want the best for us. Even though it might seem incorrect and restrictive to us.

Singaporeans put the PAP into power, so we should not complain or criticise, as we are only criticising ourselves. It is up to the PAP to remain incorruptible and uncorrupted, so that Singapore can progress to become the society that is the vision of the world.

My views are biased, I must admit, for I am only human. I don’t claim these to be definitive or the truth, so it should be taken with a pinch of salt. =) These are but my *quick* views on our political and social scene. So there, I’ve contributed my opinions.

ahhh. stoopid chinese. 1 ke left. But I'm not studying 2 kes properly. Just write out the words one time and hope for the best. After this I can slack and upload photos, or carry on studying bio and chem. mm. I prefer funner prospects.

I’m happie =) besides love stuff larh

Sont les mots qui vont tres bien ensemble
Tres bien ensemble

Haha my philo electives report has nothing bad! Yayy. it’s both exceptional for logic and moral philo. =) Then got all the praises and stuff. happie sia. Lolness. This must be my best “results” since last year’s unsw science. Heh.

Oh. And I should have sent in my photos for the jap trip. Not that I would’ve won, budden I could have shown all the ghey stuff I took to the cohort. Heh. As in, really ghey? Yupp.

Update: http://www.flickr.com/photos/markhsx i've only uploaded fuji photos. so yarh. the rest will come later. =)

I think from now on I’ll start going abstract, cos scenery in Singapore is pretty limited. No lakes, no mountains, no sunsets. Just the sky darkening. Mm. But I do love scenery photography. Abstract photography has a sort of deep meaning to it though. Try out wen shu’s and yee jek’s albums on flickr. Great stuff. links in the vip forum.

We v13-ers should get together and take black and white photos like v11 did. But our own style. We wouldn’t want to copy them, no? haha. and nice shots xx or whoever uploaded photos on class blog =)

Better get back to studying. Decided not to study fully for the Chinese test this time. Too much stuff anyway. So I’ll push myself to the limit. And just hope for the results to be good, or reasonable, or acceptable. As long as got A can liao. umm. Rather long shot I guess. I’d make do with a b3 then.

Update:

My Bane.
- chinese holiday homework due monday t3w1 - still 60% done
- lang arts arts reader assignment due t3w4 - 0% done

Tests. the big ones. really big ones.
- Biology - early surprise test - all nutrition except enzymes
- Chinese (week 2) - the biggie. 1,2,3,5,6,7,11,13,14,15 damn. screwed like shit.
- Chemistry (week 2) - chem bonding, with a dash of aomic structure. taken with gusto.
- Lang Arts (week 4) - big one. - the arts. ALL the arts.

Haha went to church. Rob francis, who’s one of dad’s old friends, preached for mission Sunday. Yupp. And I got the 40 day fast booklet! Ok so I’m not fasting fully. So I won’t count it as that. But I think I’ll pray with those who are. Yupp =)

My parents brought me to Bras Basah Plaza by the park for lunch. The food there’s not bad. Mm. Haha. Like it there. But security like a bit serious lehh. Dunno why. Parents say it’s been that way since sept 11. that’s a long way.

Then when we were leaving we met old friends. Yupp. Jeffrey and his family. Hmm. Daughter is Amanda, sec4 from rgs rp. Son is Victor, sec2 from ri rp. All the raffles people larh. I’m still glad I din’t go ri. Mm. Haha. remember we were quite close last time. Then no more contact liao haha. then meet them today.

Oh. And the photo shop auntie said my Chinese photo diary is nice haha. yayy. oh and people… go to this site! http://dx.qsl.net/propagation/greyline.html it’s the grey line thing. formally called a solar terminator. Quite interesting. It’s the curve that divides day from night. Apparently antartica is all night nowadays. Hmm. And the artic is all day. haha. cool.

Omgoodness. And go to v13 class blog too! Funny photos! Haha. Mark “the confused” Heng. Hmm. Oh. I just remembered Marketh The Brave. That’s so long ago! Brings back the… memories. Haii. Missing dhs =) haha. but the photos rock haha. the captions are funny. “the sick”. “the Indian and the Chinese” haha. lolness. Go see!

You're all I'm thinkin' of, I praise the Lord above
For sending me your love, I cherish every hug
I really love you

And all my life, baby, baby, I've prayed for someone like you,

And I thank God that I, that I finally found you, baby
All my life I've prayed for someone like you
And I hope that you feel the same way too
Yes, I pray that you do love me"

All heaven declares

All heaven declares the glory of the risen Lord,
Who can compare with the beauty of the Lord.
Forever He will be the Lamb upon the throne,
I gladly bow the knee and worship Him alone.

I will proclaim the glory of the risen Lord
Who once was slain to reconcile man to God
Forever You will be the Lamb upon the throne
I gladly bow my knee and worship You alone.

Today was good. We went to IMH (aka woodbridge) in the morn. They’ve pretty interesting stuff there. It’s just like any hospital. I wouldn’t mind a career path there. If my plans to be a pilot fail. Yeah. The thrift store was nubbad. Pretty good stuff for low prices. Got a wwi cd for 1 buck. But I’ll need to set up my win98 rig to run it properly, and all my other 16 bit programs. And we saw something really interesting. Ehheh.

The juice/sandwich bar sold the best smoked salmon sandwich I’ve had in a long time. =) nubbad, with the whole-wheat bread and subway-style vegetables. Real nice. Then we went back to school. The bus ride was interesting. Mmm. =)

Then I stayed in school till 530. doing Chinese stuff, meeting mr boy for the open house ppt. Then I talked with xtine, chun han, yirui, Eunice, sean, koganti about stuff. haha. sharing session. Mmm. Great. Should have more of those. Haha. fun right xtine? =)

A lot of love and affection
Whether I’m right or wrong
And down the waterfall
Wherever it may take me

When I come to call she won’t forsake me
I’m loving angels instead

Thanks for always being there. Love ya =)
