Lol. today was fine, it wasn’t that good, wasn't too bad, due to some factors i shall not discuss here. and its the last day of january! time passes too fast. Mondays aren’t that good. Fridays rock! Maths was graphs and stuff. Damn damn chim. Wah. I hate algebra. Graphs + algebra = die. X_x chinese was ok. We had to write some stuff on inventions. Aerocar! That’d be so damn cool. Flying cars. Whee~
Physics was quite fun. We got to use vernier calipers and something I never used before, the micrometer screw gauge. Damn cool. Calipers are shaped like smgs and gauges are like repeating pistols. Cool. Im gonna buy a plastic vernier caliper. Apparently just 2.50 for one. W00t. chem. was ok. We did an experiment on how temp affects rate of diffusion. Usual crap. But we had to write down procedures. I hate hate hate doing that. Its just like Science Prac Assmt. Argh.
Lunch was fine lah. ss was ok. We had stuff on themes, concepts, facts and generalizations. Never knew definitions could be so complicated. Haha. we played some ghey game during civics. Like everyone’s blindfolded, and pushed in diff directions, then try to form a circle. Lol nubbad lah. me and jastine were playing scissors paper stone. Haha. psl was ok too. The psl claimed the session was a failure, because we didn’t learn anything. We exchanged lame jokes and riddles and that was about it.
Haha then I decided to go home solo. Left jared and charissa to take their own trip home together, and I took 31. oh. I got a new silver pen! My old one dropped on the floor after my 3 months of tlc. And I got a planner which is apparently from chian because of all the stuff they put inside, and a new notebook! Which I wont use yet. Time to update the planner. Yupp. Whee~

So I went to church today. Maybe I should start attending youth service on sats (although I would be left with little time for cs. bah) anyway, lunch was subway meal takeaway. Bah. I never get sick of subway do I?
Met zhi quan and Christine online for our imagineering (wtf. Ms word doesn’t recognize imagineering) discussion. Dunno what happ to huang yue and yufei liao. Lol we are like the most enthu group lor… most posts! (30) And all smart and relevant to the topic. So we rawkkk!
Haha, all the groups I’ve worked with have been super enthu and effective (innovation week, inante, im) ! Whee~ im really glad im in the vip. Now I can look back, and not regret my choice. (I still really miss you guys tho… especially yh and hy! Yuhui, you changed my life with your xmas card. Haha. and all the others too! I love 2KL!) thanks to aaron for telling me never to regret my choice. Yupp.
Didn’t do much. Read the first story in the reading programme book, and chapter 1 of the bio book. Sian leh. But the story was nice. I dun really like bio, I prefer physics. Chem’s ok only. But how can one hate bio with a teacher like ms low? She’s just too hyper lah. o0 oh well… I sorted out my mp3s and stuff. Added back those songs I burned onto cds (the ones called “the compilation of mark” and “the essential mark/ist” lame titles… )
Blog revamped to v3.1.1 today. Hooray. I decided that minor changes will change the 3rd digit, major changes the 2nd, and a new template the version number. I think it should work. Oh and I have gone beyond blogger’s limit of post recordings. My latest post is listed as my 640th post. I think I went past 666 liao, but I didn’t know when. Yay! Bah. Have to sleep early today. Oh w00t. Haha well, me and yuhui went out. Lol I also finished my homework. So yay!
Haha yuhui asked me to go library with her, then it was like just two of us lor. So sad one… so I met her at the library. Does everyone like have a problem with me reading books on philo and quantum physics? Why not? haha yh was reading junior books leh. Lol
So since it was still quite early, we went shopping for my valentine’s prezzie. Haha so weird lah. First it was tamp mall lah, then yh wanted to go to op. ><>< then we went to montip. Whee~ I got myself a lavender star, and a pink star for yh and a lavender heart for valentine’s day. Wah, got so many ideas for valentine’s prezzies leh. Yh rawks at this kind of weird stuff lor.
Went to arcade to play time crisis 3. whee~ what a waste of good cash. Then we bought some sushi from tamp mall. Wah. Shark fin sucks. Especially on sushi. ><>< I went with hui yi to bugis too ok.
Aiyah, too many details not that nice liao. But yh very nice to talk to lah. or maybe she just knows too much about me. we still great friends right? Whee~ I love going out with yuhui! Whee~ today was the best day in more than a week! Lessons weren’t too bad. Maths was a breeze today, and we got introduced to what is like the 133735t thing about maths EVER. Graphic calculators. Mr ng used to talk about them, and everyone thought we could only get our hands on one in j1. now the school is lending them to us and we can do all the weird stuff graphic calcs let us do. Oh, you can like draw stuff, play games and other stuff on just one calc. It includes 1.5mb mem, which is like 1.5 MB for MSDOS. Yupp. Cool shit. Jared has especially fallen for the graphic calc, its like his darling now… I think me and jastine are gonna join the calc art competition. You can actually draw low quality graphics on the calc. Damn cool.
Oh. Then it was pe. Our worst dreams came true. We were forced to run the cross country route. Oh. My height is a measly 168, and my weight an underweight 50, which is a nice number. Lol, so anyway we sec3s guys were allowed to run just 3.2 km. I died about halfway. I had maintained around first position all the way till halfway. Then this damn stinging stitch came along in my solar plexus area. And it hurt like hell. Apparently drinking too little water will give you stitches too. So I finally had the stamina, but this bloody stitch had to go ruin everything. Oh well. that sucked. The running really sucked. I hate stitches. Vs guys say you have to just take a small gulp of water before the run. I shall try that next week.
Break was fine… drank two full cups of liquid to douse the pain. Oh. Then me, michelle and Nicole decided to go back to dhs. Lol. oh well. very sad lah. then we had our last session of innovation and enterprise! Soooo sad!!!!! Mr chad goh is a really good teacher. He lives in the opposite block from nazri, and is from fcbc. He says he’ll join us for prayer! Still haven’t sorted out when prayer will be held and stuff. Lol. anyway it was quite fun lah. I&e had always been fun. Its been really great. I still love the lavender crayon… whee~ my group still rocks the most! After all these days, we are the group that started super creative deco on every sheet of paper, all the way till today! Yay! We rock!
We had a 1.5 hour lunch thingy before ss. so we went to parkway! I cant believe I spent 7.50 on lunch. Wah, like got too much leftover cash staring me in the face. Couldn’t… resist. Lol, had meatball spaghetti and mushroom soup! The soup was real good. Mildly sweet, rich texture… perfect kind. About same quality as the changi airport one. Haha, then those people started looking at silver lah. *hint people, I really want silver shiny stuff!* so we were nearly late for ss. lol we watched some clips from mona lisa smile, and had a discussion thing on learning. I have a feeling that our syllabus is rather different from the mainstream syllabus. We seem to be having a lot of discussions. Or maybe the serious stuff hasn’t started yet.
Well then, it was time to return to dhs. Then things started screwing up. Hui yi called and said no one was left, but she would be going back to meet some teacher and do some homework and meet me. so obviously Nicole didn’t have any incentive to go back, so she didn’t. ><>< And its not Olivia lehhh… wonder who it could be.
Haha. then we were talking about the class scandals. Michelle was saying that our class has a lot of rumours liao, and spontaneous pairings by Eunice which included me and her. ><” lol haha. michelle, I dun like my mortal. And you eliminated lots of people liao lah. Lol anyway, you’ll find out on feb 14 lah. or maybe you know liao. Whee~ Haha nice day right? ^^ im giving roses! and its joanne’s bday too! do u even read my blog anymore? Never tag de! Anyway i like the new condo! The one they had been building all the way through till 2005. quite nice design lah.
We walked to dhs, then had to go get school pass. Like tan hui yi’s name was above michelle’s name, weird lah. anyway I met hui yi. then I showed her the graphic calc. Whee~ (wtf its 1:20 am? bahness) haha. we talked for a while, then went to the 158 busstop. Jonathan was there! Haha. finally see him after so long… then took mrt to city hall.
Stoned around there for an hour or two, when I was supposed to meet inante at 430 or smth. Then nazri called and said they were going to bugis. Then I went to bugis and stoned at kino for half an hour. they finally came at 6+ . wah waste my time leh. Lol we went to mos burger. I got rip-offed again. 5.50 for a seafood kakiage rice burger and a vanilla shake which was very undrinkable. Haha. then I walked to the esplanade with shi qing, Stephanie, Kendrick and Elaine. Whee~ WALK HOR. Haha easy walk, after 3.2km or smth, and crossing tamp.
That area at the waterfront is just beautiful at night. The skyline, the mirror that is the river, the architecture or the esplnade and fullerton. Wow. I didn’t bring digicam, so had to make do with night cam on my handphone. Haha, I bought a coke in a glass bottle. Now that’s something you don’t see around much anymore. A classic. And it tasted better too. I don’t really like coke, but drinking it out of something with violent potential is rather different.
We walked to the park, then stoned there for an hour or so, then decided that it was pointless, so we went to the fullerton and then to hsbc building. Lol, then walked back to esplanade again. It officially ended for me at 1125, when the 5 people cramming kenny’s car went down the escalator in the esplanade. I think we’re one of the only ogs which still keep in contact and the only one going out every week together. INANTE ROX it so damn rox. I love inante! Whee~ we’re like super enthu lah!
I went out to the flagpole, and sat there like an angsty guy in the middle of the night drinking beer to sooth his sorrows. Lol then my parents picked me up and I went home. Yay. Today so rocked!!! Haha mainly because of the (as jared would say) damn chio graphic calculator, the wastage of cash on useless food, the convos me and michelle had, my current expansion of knowledge about “class issues”, and the esplanade, especially the walks! Haha. that place soooo romantic!!! *swoon* I cant wait for valentine’s day! Yay! HAPPPIIIEEEE im so happy nowadays! Its real great. YAAAAAAAYYYY!!!

I really want a guppy for a class pet. My parents wont let me get one because they know it’ll die, and they say how can I take care of a cute fish if I cant take care of myself. Yx never gave me those baby guppies. ): haha. 05v13 rox!!! And v12 copied our logo! But they took it down today. Lol. whee~
Maths was bad. As in I didn’t really understand the stuff. Im fine with surds, its great, but once they add indices and algebra-type equations im just stuck. Of all math, algebra’s the worst for me. argh. Basic algebra’s fine, but combined with surds it becomes hell. Oh well. we had to take a heavy break, because apparently there wasn’t gonna be lunch today. Lunch at 915. wtf. That’s even worse than having dinner at 430.
Bio was farnie lah. we went into this research lab. Its damn cool cos its got air con, a clean room (the only one in a sgp jc) which is like those things you go into when dealing with deadly viruses or need a sterile environment. Oh. And there was this shower thing that looked like a teleporter. The vice principal explained to me that it was for emergency, like you had toxic stuff on you, then you pull the rope thing, and a whole flood of water comes down on you. dun think anyone used it. just for emergencies. Haha, my group was farnie today larh. “lee hsien loong is made up of cells” and sperms pointing in various directions “this way up” “to next page”. oh. And the korea broadcasting station thing came to film us. Haha. whee~ v13 rox all the way!
Physics nubbad too. The Chinese principals came to see us for a while. Haha. v13 famous liao…then we went to Chinatown. Really weird place lehh…. We walked around abit, went to this weird semi-museum-ish-like thing. the model of the junk was nice! But the escalators were like covered with a carpet so there was like no point at all. >< then there was this really cramped but air-conned Chinatown heritage center. Whee~ you know, I think we students appreciate air con the most on excursions. Lol oh. And did anyone see the video of a guy ripping the shell off a turtle and dropping it alive into a pot of soup? Its bloody cruel. And they also tore the snake in half by pulling apart its mouth. Wah. So evillll….
The visit to the tea house was the best! As michelle puts it, there was a “vincent guy at tis tea talking w a weird accent?” haha his accent damn weird lah. apparently he gave up his senior position at a bank or smth to pursue his love of tea. And now he’s quite famous because of his passion for tea.
Good tea is… good. But good red wine like a 1999 bottle of red cabernet sauvignon can be compared to nothing else. I love a good glass of cabernet sauvignon. Especially with sirloin steak. Ah well. I think white teas nice! From the description. But it seems quite rare. And sniffing the white tea leaves are way better than sniffing glue. I suddenly got a sense of feeling “high” out of it. WEIRD lah. Oh well. the best part of the whole trip was the siew mai! Haha I guess most ppl agree too! It was the best! Maybe it’s just because we were all starving at 430. haha I love dimsum!!!
Then me, nicole, Gillian, Pamela and xin hui went to bugis!!! Then v14 ppl went too! Lol. anyway, it was fun lah! we went to semb music, then they bought evanescence: the fallen for xtine. Haha. then we took neos! I met xin rong and Eunice! Haha. so chio lehhh…. Lol then I met joan too. Haha. she superr chio too! Lol then we took neos lah. wah, first time taking with them never screw up. Good omen simah? Haha. yay! Neos! First v13 neos! Right? Whee~ I superr happy. lol. I might have to change my template. Ppl complaining green too bright. It looks damn fine to me. and nice too. Well, apparently the moon was super low and bright today. Laura was trying to find it to show me. everntually we saw it between some trees. Lol. still super bright, and the first time I saw a moonset. Whee~ sho pwetty! But I didn’t have my digicam. bio was fine, we didn’t do any bio. Class admin stuff lah. we had to give our ccas. I still don’t have a cca. >< stupid vball hasn’t contacted me yet. Lol im so empty without a cca! Bah. Dunno what would happen if I don’t have a cca. Maybe I’ll go ahead with my plans to join the youth flying club. Yay.then there was lang arts. Guess what, there is such a thing as lang arts homework. Wah. Damn gay lah. We got a task today. Which means homework in vjc terms. Its due next Tuesday, so im procrastinating. It seems rather simple too. Anyway I finished the optional physics homework and chemistry table thing liao. So I have some sort of excuse to skip doing lang arts.
Chem. was ok… we learnt about Brownian motion, diffusion, particulate theory and other stuff. All in one lesson. Then the ONLY 2 period break in the WHOLE week started. Me, jared, Nicole and Gillian started playing bball. As we were about to start the damn damn damn alarm thing rang. Some bomb drill thing. lol. our whole break was gone. Even the subsequent (oh lol I found my bandana from eds camp) lit period (which was a break to me) was cut into half. Wah. We were all damn pissed lah. no one had eaten lunch. No one listened to the talk, and even the teachers were talking together and some were even hitting on each other. ><
Then the electives started. Yay! Philo still rox! Whee~! But I wasn’t so active today. Just tired. And I had most of the stuff in my brain liao. I shall be superr enthu next session. Whee~ after the electives ended, we didn’t play bball. We waited for this sofa chun han impulsively donated to our class. Haha. wah, his mum sent a delivery truck over to the school just to get the sofa to us. Thanks lots! Its sweet lah. eh, me, jastine and chun han were carrying the one seater part, then the principal and vp saw us leh. Then they followed us to class. Apparently they think the idea is very novel, and I think it shows we’re super enthu! I love v13!!!!
Me, nic and xx went to parkway! Haha we went around looking for xtine’s bday prez. Dun worry, I wont say. Anyway she’ll find out tomorrow. Its damn nice lah. ^^ haha. we got it from the first shop we came to. Ig’s heaven. that place is so 1337. the wrapping paper is superr chio. Ask nic. We both love it a hell lot. The remaining piece of paper was cut in half and we took one each. Whee~ xx wasn’t too excited about it. I like anything with nice colourful hearts. Its my display pic now. Yay! Then xx went home, me and nic went to get a drink, then my dad brought us home. Yay! I love the wrapping paper a lot. I’ll buy one next time. Eh, we could use it as wallpaper in our class! haha today fun larhhh… everyone’s still at bowling or smth. So sad lah. too lazy to bowl… lol. Chinese was ok, we had to choose inventions and have to present stuff to the class next lesson, I think our chapter’s on creativity and innovation. Then there was like 3 periods of lang arts. We got intro-ed into the subject. Argh. You actually have to study for lang arts. That’s like studying for ENGLISH. We’re learning arts and stuff. Lol.
then the breaks got screwed up today. Instead of a one period break before lit (which means parkway), we had a 2 period break, which meant that if we went tom parkway we had to rush, so we didn’t. I ate a steak today for lunch, instead of the usual dual omelettes which will kill my body slowly. There was bio instead of ss after lunch. Lol. we learnt the meaning of life (42!!!) and got started on the basics of bio, like why, what, how, the usual intro lesson. (oh, they don’t call it lessons. They call it tutorials)
then there was lit! there wasn’t much to do for us non-lit-ers. So um… we went to the library? Yupp. Oh well. argh. Discrimination against vip students! Wah, we cant use borrowing system leh. I wanted to borrow 3 books: quantum and particle physics, idiot’s guide to philosophy and a book on fighter planes and their effect and stuff. This is just for the record lah, so I wont forget. Haha. michelle found this huge atlas thing. cute! I have it at home. Haven’t seen it for a long time, it was how I started learning about the world. Im still interested in maps. Yupp. Whee~
Anyway, we had this talk by this “sexy” lecturer with a ponytail and a weird, cool accent. Haha it was a talk on marketing. Nothing one wouldn’t know about lah, but it reinforced what we knew and elaborated on the whys. Yup.
Haha when the talk ended we went to parkway! Me and Christine were supposed to consume huge amounts of ice cream to test our metabolism. We went to gelare. I had one waffle with 2 scoops of ice cream for myself! But my digestion went too quickly, and my bowels weren’t feeling that well, so I skipped the ice cream cones. Lol. some other day kk? Haha oh well. whee~ I love love love ice cream. Tomorrow will be good. Indeed. Yupp. Time to do some bio research. Hope you guys like the new template. Finally. Its 8:45 now. Oh well. I wasted 3 pieces of A3 sized graph papers. They’re like huge. Useful for drawing plans and graphs. I better get some A4 sized ones too. W00t. I love those really really accurate graph papers.
Ah well. today was fine… nothing bad actually. But nothing really fantastic happened either. (eh, tomorrow lit periods! = Parkway! Poor lit things.) it started off fine ya know. Math. Real smooth. We had to do it in our groups! Lol. aiyah, my group’s nice! Haha. besides jastine. He’s lazy!!! Lousy angel lor. Lol. but its fine, my mortal’s writing to me. so weird. First topic we’re doing for math: surds. Irrational square roots or something along the lines of that. Like algebra, there’s simple, easy direct surds, but there’s some other hard ones. Actually surds are quite simple. Just simplify as much as you can. Yah. A bit of fractions and indices. (crap. I hate indices. ><) then we had Chinese. Oh w00t. we got to use the comps. Damnit office 2003 is pro lah. got han sheng thing built-in. wah. I want office 2003! We went to zaobao, and got a pic of the effects of tsunami, and then had to do a write-up on it.
There was physics and chem. we did an experiment on melting points, a simple start. That’s why we had to do the report. Lol. ss wasn’t too bad either. Even though the teacher is apparently… fierce. We did some expectations thing, which some teachers gave us to do before in sec 1, then we watched a video and discussed the term social studies. This is usually how teachers start their year. For some very weird reason.
We had the elections for class committee (very much unlike our usual elections, where you get to sabo people. >< lol.) this was done is a very proper manner. Those who wanted to run for a post had to go through interviews, and if they got through, had to face one hard question given by ms low today, then face US. Haha. quite fun lah. yay! Class committee’s good. Yupp. But I really couldn’t choose properly for any of the posts.
All were too good. Like [snoopy teacher] (ms low?) said on our class blog, (omg. Like now the teachers will know our blogs. NOOOOOOOOOO *dies* but I guess our lives aren’t really secret anymore. There was a semi mass v13 convo this afternoon. And ms low was present. She currently has found the photos of a certain couple and is laughing her ass off looking at them. We explained the situation to her and all. lol. (oh w00t w00t. ftp loads damn fast. Kudos to moe for giving us free ftp servers!) we had a lot of fun, as mass convos tend to give us. Lol. meanwhile I had finished downloading macromedia mx, which is the whole damn suite of stuff. And just 220- mb. W00t w00t.
Then my family went to sakae sushi at eastpoint to have dinner. wah. I already had two subways lor. And I thought sushi wouldn’t be too filling. I think we ordered too much. Lol. I ate my usual (soft shell crab, a ritual dish at sushi restaurants for me) but they didn’t have tempura ice cream! So I got pissed and bought cookie dough ice cream instead, which is quite nice too. Sushi’s good lah. chawan mushi not bad. Someday we should have class lunch at sakae sushi’s buffet thing ($13.90) it would be so 1337.
Went to popular to buy stationary. Since we have so thick books (thus, easier to be damaged/torn) I bought some plastic wrap, and I bought double sided tape too (I’m some sort of source of double sided tape to the class, especially Christine. She loves double sided tape for some unknown reason) and a copy of the phantom of the opera. Ran out of books to read, therefore I got it. yupp. Hope its good. Haha. then I got some lakerol too. Oh well. quite a good day, especially sakae sushi. Proper lessons start tomorrow! The impending doom… I better sleep early today then.

Die. I threw away my edusave stuff. so like my good progress awards and stuff are like gone. And I don?t even have scholarship de. Im so sad. Bah. Lol anyway i just signed up for msn spaces, the new msn blog-album-playlist service thing. The main problem with the blog is that there is no template to customise, but the basic design is quite nice already. I?ll stick with blogger for the time being. I also went on a major revamp for the gui shell of my comp. It looks damn cool now. I tweaked here and there for the perfect shell. lol. Oh well. I also started on the webfolio thing. I admit im using icons from blogger screenshots. So its not copyrighted in a way, but still someone can tell they?re from blogger. Heck. I built the foundation in powerpoint, but now the file size is about 800kb or smth. So I have to redesign using jpg backgrounds, but im using bmp for the icons because they?re damn nice and im not sacrificing quality for what tiny file size jpgs have. Except the background lah. Background in bmp was 3mb. Now its something like 200kb. Yay.
Argh. I need dreamweaver or frontpage or some other crap. Even frontpage express isnt helping. Screw powerpoint man. Argh. Eh, maybe if I use the new images it might have a small file size. I?ll go try? oh well. Basically chatted a lot and slacked for the day. Besides all the customising and ppt crap. Formal lessons starting next week! I can feel the fear creeping in already.

6 : 41 - Denys starts food fight by throwing pist. nut at Stephanie and yelling "FOOD FIGHT!". Many good nuts lost their lives.
6 : 42 - Denys attemps to crack open nut by smashing fist on table, but hits table instead. Hilarity ensues.
7 : 00 - OG leaves school, heads to bus stop to wait for bus.
7 : 15 - Still waiting for bus.
7 : 20 - Bus comes, filled to the brim with people. OG manages to cram on.
8 : 00 - OG reaches Lagoon. Like bus, crowded like hell.
8 : 20 - OG manages to wrestle away good seats.
8 : 30 - Denys orders Western meal, gets a huge chicken cutlet that takes up half of plate space. Denys makes mental note of stall name.

Well. today was fine. Hui yi asked me out yesterday to go bugis with her. >< wah. Then somemore just two of us lor. So weird. I was kinda late lah. I’m never late! Except today lor. So I was pissed at myself. And I was feeling kinda sick too. Like blocked nose and heatiness. Not sure what it is, but its becoming very common nowadays. Ok hui yi. I was/am not angsty kk? I was just ridded on my energy because of low oxygen intake and yesterday’s activities.
Well. we met at kino. Then wentshopping for this guy’s bday present. She’s been flirting with him lah. Everyone knows liao right. Haha. well, she asked me what a poserish but semi-angsty guy would like. (apparently he’s liddat lah) actually the stuff I pointed out was shiny. =) and the guy (which shall remain unnamed) wanted lipstick/ eyeshadow. Dunno if hui yi’s joking lah. but we were looking in cosmetic shops for that gay stuff. In the end, after looking in some gay shops, I told her we should get shiny stuff. Because that’s cool. So she bought him a lighter which I chose! Its damn cool lah. wind-proof de. Wah. I want a lighter… so shiny! Hui yi! You still owe me prez. But nvm lah, if u dunwan to buy ><
Haha. I didn’t speak much to hy today lah. too tired to even speak. Sorry lah girl. Haha, then we went to the arcade! W00t. I love time crisis 3 now. More used to the guns. Then max came from his tuition. So me and hy didn’t need to have lunch alone. >< I decided to go delifrance! Yupp. I had this shepherd’s pie meal thing which cost me 8.50. the pie was quite small lah. ripped off! But tasted quite good. The cream of corn was good… then we all took the mrt. Those two went to js’ house and stuff to be ghey. I wanted to go to the library. (oh I remembered the msn nick! Sorta.) on the way, I popped by this pirated cd shop nazri told me about. Lol. all the stuff super exp leh. I wanted to buy battle for middle-earth but it cost 20 bux. I’ll go johor giant to buy lah. giant rox lor.
The library was closed! I forgot it was a public hol. It was too much like sat liao. Oh well. I played some cz, read a bit, then went to sleep. Too tired liao… then I watched spy kids 2. its quite ok, but too many digital effects… reducing the reality effect of the movie. Had some seafood pasta for dinner. then the mass convos started. Oh. So my parents brought me aud and ama to school today. Then we went to Fairfield lah. im too damn tried to elaborate. Its just innovative and all. they managed to compact many facilities into a less-than-average school size (2.3 ha). Their lessons are based on gep curriculum (read up on the Sophia blackmore system) and seems quite similar to vip. Got lots of other innovations lah.
We got back for a hour and half lunch. (to hui yi. I so don’t like HER lor. ><><) which was really great cos the class always eats together nowadays. (omg v13 is super enthu! I love v13!!!!) then we presented our findings from Fairfield! Lol. apparently I have some hidden artistic talent. I drew this ship signifying the fmss library theme, and everyone who saw it was like “wah so nice!” wtf. I thot I could only draw planes. ><>< omg I can draw! Yay! Im happy. =)
We had concluding stuff, starting the solution-finding process. We are somewhere in between. Should be able to finish next week. It was the end of the innovation week! Sho sad! Well, we said our farewells to mr chad (apparently he isn’t gonna teach us formally anymore. =( he was like super interesting and funny teacher. Even my flick agrees. Dhs ppl are just liddat lah =). ) and took some farewell photos. Hope he will send all this stuff to us. To remember this week. Like I stated in the letter to myself in one months time: I’ve learnt more in this week than any other innovation programme. And I’ll remember this week as the week when I really bonded with the class. Especially my group members. Yup. I’ll never forget this.
Haha, today was also the day we had our first after-orienation flick dinner. Apparently we’re one of the only flick which actually organize stuff after orientation. Super enthu de lah. w00t! i love inante! Other flicks just disband and dun really communicate after orientation. Haha. shi qing says everytime she sees me I’m always with girls. Not my fault right?!!! I too chio liao. ><>< so disgusting!
Ok. We talked a lot. W00t. inante people are so nice to talk too! Haha. shi qing says im chio lorr. And a lot of other guys in inante are chio too! Like Samuel! lol. then we talked about a lot of stuff lah. Stephanie said her cousin Mark looked really like me. and apparently I act a lot like him and talk like him too. Gasp. eh, so weird eh? And stephanie really looks like althea leh. Wah. Like got super resemblance in our flick.
Then we went to take photos. Wah. Must have taken hundreds of photos. All super nice one! W00t. photos are still the best stuff to remember such times with. I alone took about 60. and got like 5+ cams. Haha, had so much fun! Then we walked back. And denys got cramp in his right leg. then after that, he got cramps in his left leg about 50 metres away. Super suay lor. Poor thing. I guess he’s fine now. Got a lift from Stephanie to tanah merah then took 31 home with Elaine. She lives somewhere near Olivia. Oh well. I reached home at 11. super tired now. *yawnz* time to go sleep.

Ass Clown

Today day was fun too!!! We played simon says to start off the day. ><>< haha. thanks for the flattery (actually, I just get larger blocks of free time by not slacking. Or at least trying not to) and the not-so-flattery. (I’m not ghey!!!) Eh. Is it true my blog is number 1? I mean to jastine lah. what did you search for? Mr kiw? Markhsx? =S haha. my group’s presentation rocked! W00t. although Christine made the ct rep or a54 to be egoistical. (wah. Super popular de hor.) Haha. but honestly lah, she’s capable, being able to bring conflicting cliques together.
Haha. then we did metaphors. Using items in a category to describe the problem we were facing and the ideal situation we wanted. We used a durian to describe the cliquish, disunited class, for many various reasons and cherries to describe the bonded enthu class. (for many various reasons too) we had so many reasons, and found so many similarities between the metaphors and subjects, that I am too lazy to list them down here. Eh. Mr chad said our metaphors were great! Yay! We rock! ><
Then there were the electives!!! Omg. Philo so rox. Aiyah. Dunno why laura doesn’t like it. I guess she thinks its thinking in circles. That’s true, but you can learn a lot by thinking in circles. Dunno why she was so sad/unenthu/thinking in the second half of the day. Stay happy kk? If not everyone else will be sad… haha. smile!!! =D ok. On to philo! We learned the few, yet unclear definitions of philo. No one can be sure what its all about. They’re still thinking about it. >< we are starting on ethics/moral philo, so its like the teachers give us some basic ethics questions which answers might seem obvious at first, but when you start trying to answer it in a philo way, you find that it is not clear. For example, what makes animals/babies don’t kill each other? Do/can they know ethics? And so on. Then it got on to murder (one extreme of ethics) and how would we know if murder is right/wrong. And all that. So the most obvious questions become the most complicated. That’s why philo is so fun!!!! W00t.
Oh well. its been a great day. My aim to still to make everyone happy. And my aspiration is still to be a pilot. And what drives me is the need to beat Nicole at Chinese. Im still the same old ghey Mark. I haven’t changed. Actually ive become less ghey and lame (nazri is way better, and chun han a worthy competitor) , a lil more mature, and more friendly and enthu. Yup. I think ive changed for the better. I’ll enjoy life more. Somehow, through what pro time management skilz I possess ><, I’ll spend more time thinking about myself, instead of philosophical thoughts. Yup. I will be Mark. But a better Mark. Yes.
Oh. To add on a bit. I was rather stumped when I looked through someone’s inbox yesterday. You know. Like speechless. Like a great enlightenment and you are just at a loss for words. You know too much at one go. Just like at kfc that day with aaron and cindy and rj. That was the first time I experienced this. And I just cried. Oh w00t. today was super fun! First we had problem based learning. ><><). First one was 4 straws+5 straws=10 which was damn easy lah, I did it in less than a minute. Just use a bit of wordplay, then some thought, and you get it! there were various answers, I found the most obvious one:

There were really creative solutions like using roman numerals and roman fractions and shapes. Cool. (wtf nazri is like the best at being lame and funny at the same time. I was like “kk” and he was like “who’s in kk?”(ie hospital) lol. he’s good. Apparently all you need to do is take words lieterally. Yup.) the second easiest one was a variation of the “who owns the fish?” logic puzzle (which we did in maths.) its actually easier to do individually lah. lol. then there was a whole cryptography thingus. Solvable mostly by eliminations and some logic processes. But it was damn hard lah. >< it was too long and tedious a process. Bleh.

ok. My group had till 1130 to slack. And so did some other groups! So we played ghey games! Like those the ogls taught us. (I finally know the “what is the time?” one, and the mrt one, and the where do I live one, “open/ close”, and a few more” its actually just damn lame lah) lol. then we took a few photos of people too! Nicole interviewed me for her group. And I was like “I am a busy man.” >< lol. my group was in t28 and they were having geog. We observed the class at work and how they interacted with each other and the teacher. There was quite a relaxed atmosphere with little strict rules and everyone seemed to be having fun while studying/ learning. Wow.
Then we met some other people and we went to mcd for lunch! After lunch, jared called, and asked if we wanted to meet them haha. then we tricked them by telling them we were in mcd, the running up to the second level and see them try to find us. Lol. then jared called again and nazri told him we were at plaza sgp and that we were going to go back liao. Then jared left with xx. Gasp. we took photos, and got onto another round of ethnography. Lol. I got close up pics! And they didn’t even know we were there lor. And in their world, there were just the two of them, oblivious to everything else. Ahhh… the bliss of love…
We went to the library, and we got seats at the childrens’ section. ><>< wah. At least admit it lor. Bleh. then I went for vball tryouts! Dunno if any of us will actually get in. there were just the four of us, me, darho, aaron and tris. I hope all 4 of us get in! then it was be much nicer. Yupp. Digging was fine, I practiced with jimmy. Apparently I need to feel more relaxed (I play much easier with my friends. It was damn tense lah.) and use my legs to cushion and power the ball too. Then we played in groups, then the spiking part came. Wah it was quite hard to do the footwork and spike at the same time. I think I pulled a few off. According to aaron my spiking’s quite good. But I really cant set! I never tried anyway. Bah. Went home with cleaven. Now im all tired and stuff. I’ll go sleep after I finish this piece of cake. Yuppp… cya guys tomorrow! We had brainstorming at the start, as most innovation programmes tend to have, in which we just spewed out problems we faced in school or at home. Then there was nailing the problem. This was more difficult than it sounded. We had our first problem: students not being responsive enough. Then we got onto a second level, the factors that led to this. Then we had to find the key problem, one that could cover the most important factors in one point, while being specific at the same time. Time and time again, the word bonding came up. So our final problem was that there was a lack of bonding among students, and between then students and teachers in class, thus leading to the students not being responsive enough. Yup.
We then had to identify the stakeholders of this problem (ie who was involved) and then pinpoint our target for tomorrow’s ethnography (allied to anthropology, identified as the study of social and cultural change.) well, we didn’t identify individuals like the other groups did. Tomorrow we will observe a class. Yup. Apparently one of the enthu classes. So I guess it’ll be good. Then it was a video on ideo. Ideo is some Californian innovation company that has been the backbone of many many various stuff we use and take for granted of nowadays. they work damn efficiently, and they enjoy working cos its fun. There are a few features that lead to this and most were attempted by mr chad goh in our workshop:
- mottos and variations: (“yes, and” not “yes, but” ><, do first, ask for forgiveness later, organized chaos)
- post-it notes, to facilitate non-stop idea generation, with no interruptions
- a bell/sledgehammer (we used the hammer) when deeply opposed to someone’s idea (ie “yes, but”) , instead of interrupting him (although I have no idea how this is productive ><)
- no leader, all equals (including appointed leaders) so everyone doesn’t rely on a leader to do the work
- freedom to modify environment, and a space with no barriers so communication is clear and quick
- big area to paste and write down ideas so there are little constraints to idea generation and lots of stationary/ materials to work with
- frequents breaks in between presentation and work, so it doesn’t seem as lengthy and boring as usual lessons would be
- more freedom to do what you want, so that one feels more relaxed and is more comfortable with voicing ideas.
- Mixed talent. The problem might have nothing to do with your field of profession, but a mix of various talent facilitates innovation
- And definitely: ethnography. Ethnography is more efficient then self-directed learning because you are asking the experts directly about the problem you are trying to solve, instead of researching all by yourself through the net or books.
Yup. Bah. This actually sounds like reflections. Damn. But I had to record it down in case I forgot. Its quite useful actually. Oh lol, for some reason my group sabo-ed me to be leader. (back to the good ol’ days of bullshitting for the bizlab team) eh. And nicole’s grp is ethnographing me tomorrow because they think I have good time management and a well balanced social life (they define social life as being able to go out with friends and playing vball and going to lan etc etc. I hope.) Must be nic’s fault lah. Im so flattered!!! =) *ego* Mr chad was talking something about people being able to be super committed to their homework, cca, and class duties at the same time (apparently this is what I am) but not being able to develop their intrapersonal skills. That must be why I am starting to hate myself. Ahhhh.
I need more time for play and rest and going out with my frens (actually I have this too. I got lots of time to go out and play because I do my homework on the way home. And when I do homework I am able to play cs and listen to music and chat at the same time. Its just some multi-focus thing. and I spend too much time thinking. Where do I get the time from? =S) eh. I need more time to think not about life and love and friends, but I need time to think about myself. I neglect myself too much!!! There are things about me you don’t know. >< oh well. think I’ll end here today. And I decided not to do business cards for my group, cos im too lazy and I don’t really know how to make a proper one. But it would be cool tho.

Lol. I didn’t go to church today. My parents stayed at home to organize the house. My dad intends to buy/rent a condo next year, because we can make lots of cash by selling this flat. (apparently its value has quadrupled in the last 20 years) im very opposed to this because I don’t want another big change in my life, seeing how hard it has been for me to change schools that were in the same town. So uh, my mum wanted me to throw away my comp mags and recent issues of lime and 8 days, complaining what a waste of money they were. Yah. Anyway, we decided to get boxes/a new shelf so I can store my expanding collections of mags. And all my new books. And souvenirs. Cos they’re lying around on my comp table. Which has just gotten much more crowded because I moved my printer over. Yup. I collect stuff too much.
Therefore, we went to ikea! Yay! W00t I love ikea. Well. I bought two boxes with colourful circles on them for my stuff (but now I found that I have too much stuff, so my parents are gonna get a shelf extension so I can store more stuff on my ikea bookshelf) and some of those really kyute soft toys (remember the squirrel and polar bear? ^^) because I promised hui yi one, and I also got a weird hamster/porcupine thing which was really cute too. Whee~

Argh screw. I managed to connect my printer. So no new all-in-one printer till the next comp fair. Hope it’ll come in march. I was thinking of getting a mp3 player too, but it would be quite useless to me. I wouldn’t care to bring it around. Hp has radio liao, so that’s fine, for now. Oh, before I forget, ytd, I encounter the first jacking I have ever seen before. (for those who are smartly ignorant of such stuff, jacking is whacking a guy’s groin against a hard, tall object, usually a tree or pole) some guys from ingole jacked bending (is that how you spell it?) against a lamp post after a mass dance. On one side, you feel serious pity for the guy and the part of his anatomy most affected, and on the other theres a sadistic wonder and amusement. Ahhhh. Hope you’re ok dude. And I thot it only happened in vs.
I was supposed to go with yh to bugis today. (datteee!!! Lol) Then lots of other people tagged along. Including hui yi who was so not supposed to be there. Haha. hui yi had this new “guyfriend”!!! lol. haha. we went shopping and stuff. Surprisingly didn’t take neos lah. oh. And me, yh, Yvonne and darho got huhu a cute, albeit weird, cat from mu-ee. We sorta screwed around for a while, then went to mcd again. I bought some war comics and just sat there reading until my parents came. Wah. I feel so unwanted lor. Yh said they were all going home. Then they went to the airport! And like everyone knows that’s like one of my fave places! Eh, but my parents brought me to breeks lah. like got super nice ice cream and lasagna. But I would have preferred to go to the airport with all my frens. The next time I go to the airport im gonna take photos of the metal and glass finish around the mrt station area.
Ok. Well. I have finally experienced love at first sight. I had never believed in such crap before. But I know it is true. Lol. philo is being held in t23, so I don’t have to move anywhere during electives. Argh. I so need a printer. I hate parallel ports, so I have to get a new printer. >< lol. Wah. We so die next week. on Monday it will be non-stop till 5, then some weird and not-too-pleasant-sounding investigations on Tuesday, some evaluations on wed, we’ll be going to a few places (like the zoo =S) on thrusday then continue in school all the way till 5. argh. Die. No time for slacking or crap. This seems to be much worse than what formal lessons should be like. Eh. It sounds a hell lot like mi week. Argh I hated mi week. 5 days to complete a super big project. Argh.
Haha today was super great! Lessons were ok, nothing special. We ended at 12+++ then I went for a class lunch at parkway! Haha. kfc. Super fatty and oily lor. Nic squeezed a lot of oil from my drumstick thing. erk. Haha, then go giant to let the other ppl buy bbq stuff. We slacked for a while in the food court, then decided to go to east coast. We stopped at pit 18. and just sat and talked for a long while, took photos and then went to mcd. Bah. I loved cornettos too much to get the 25c cone. >< oh lol. then we walked to the bbq pits. There were crowds of people. Lol, changed into much more comfortable tshirt and shorts and joined my class at the 2nd nearest breakwater from pit 46 (ingole!!!) lol. the horizon was beautiful lah. but it would have been much nicer if there weren’t big, ugly ships on the horizon. The skyline at the city was beautiful too. Especially during 7-8, when there was a gradient from orange to purple. Sho sho pwetty. (lol, anyone remembered xiao xian and jared sitting there together even after we called them? lol)
Signed some cards for the ogls, and got some food. It became dark soon. Then inante (!!!) gathered and sat in a circle like other flicks. Lol. shi qing said something about me being reserved at the start of orientation the now im like enthu-kia. Lol. then the ogls got this “great” idea of telling us ghost stories way before midnight. But the army ghost stories are good lah. im quite afraid of tekong now. Ive heard too many stories about tekong. Bah. After a few ingole mass dances, then got onto 31 (which was super packed) then my parents brought me to daud (which is someplace near hy’s house) and I drank my very first milo dino. Nothing special lah. I’ll go try the version with ice cream on it. whee~ quite fun day lah. didn’t add too many details. Although day was very very interesting in many minor ways. (go blame nich)

Wah im getting flamed on the stupid tagboard. It was so peaceful… bahness. Actually not that bad lah. nobody’s really pissed… lol. its just the usual niaoning me. ><>< argh. Yh, don’t forget sat hor.
today wasn’t too bad. We had to write testimonials about ourselves during ct. *omg ego-ness* i managed to crap a lot. Then got lang arts which was oral presentation. Wahaha my group was last, then got no time left, so we managed to escape. Apparently we have to present another day. Bleh. (so far my group nice lah. haha. and none of us have started giving stuff to mortal yet. Eh, I need a damn printer. I dun want to use the old printer! Too lazy to diconnect and connect again. And I want a new fast, all in one printer thing. ^^) then got Chinese. Wah, me and nic nearly went to the hcl class lor. =S some mistake in admin lah. eh, our teacher quite nice. She has been teaching for like 21 years liao, then last time was some police captain thing.
oh. We had the results of our personality test! Lol. I got mostly around the middle for introvert-entravert, self-control, toughmindedness. I got a lower score for independence tho. This means I prefer to be a follower rather than a leader if I can help it. yup. The results were super accurate lah. my 2 highest working styles are scientific and artistic. Quite a suitable combo. Personal notes refer to my preference to be a follower, therefore being able to be a “considerate, tactful, group member” and I supposedly have a high sensitivity to the feelings of others and know how to get along with “rocking the boat”. The apq also states that I am effective and thorough and organized in stuff, so im useful to others no matter what I choose to do. =S it also states my inclination towards small changes. (therefore this explains my resentment and sort of angst towards big changes like the transition to vip) oh. And lastly, I have loyalty to existing methods and people can count on me. Gasp. =S whee~ seems quite accurate lah.
we had some briefing about the development road map which meant we had to do some online homework: the self-appraisal (which doesn’t seem to be working) and to fill up goals for the road map (which I am too tired/lazy to do.) I’ll complete it some other day. Then I went for air rifle trials. Bah. I chose to take rifle instead of pistol. Rifle’s way heavier but more accurate with some sort of acog mod. My first 3 starter shots were way better than my trial shots. Bah. I got a bullseye on my first hit! Those guys were like gasp omg bullseye on first shot. Then it got screwed up because my left hand wasn’t in the correct position. Apparently what they were looking for was consistency, not highest points. Half of my shots were concentrated on the bottom left, near the black area, the rest all fell into the black area. Bleh. I wish I had the bullseye as a part of it. oh well. played some vball tehn went home. Real tired now. And theres some hard maths lesson tmr (3 periods! Argh) oh well. cya all then.

Wah. Im trying to complete some gay wkst on self-direct learning (sdl, and im stuck at it! I’ll do obversation first) while trying to blog and eating cup noodles keeping Eugene from flirting with june. The poor girl! Ok. I got both electives I wanted most (though not quantum physics) : philo for sem1, nanotech for sem2. bleh. they should have aviation lah. bleh.
Today was the best day this week. So far lah. for some reason it felt a hell lot like Friday. (eh. Wtf, why suddenly so many ppl start convo with me =S lol. they’re all asking me hows vjc) well, today was great. Yup. We had ct, then lang arts, then ct, then bio and a ppt sweatshop. (crap just realized I haven’t linked class blog yet. >< I’ll go link soon. And guys, stop flaming my tagboard! Bah. Just becos I said something about max and hui yi lor. And I was joking lor! Wah. I know I suck at sarcasm, but still it’s a joke lah. >< Bah.)
There was nothing really interesting. Actually I dun really notice time in class. Not much is diff except the 2nd break. Lol. the ppt sweatshop was quite cool lah. super ppt skills! Like images, colours, fonts, layout and all. w00t. my ppt style is a mix of different greyscales. Quite ok lah. but sometimes I love using light pastel colours. Then we went back to dhs!
I was so fking hyper lor. I miss those dudes so much (no matter how ghey they are. Even tho I might be ghey-er) well. we met up. Most people were in canteen lah. then we played a bit of vball, then some of us went to find the teachers. Lol. we all had a long talk. Mr ng found out who Nicole liked by eliminating people from 3L’s class list. Hes good =S well. we played more vball and bball till 7. I failed at the oc. Bah. Those guys are still teasing me about Olivia lor. Wah. That’s like how long liao. Anyway, most of us took 12 home. Those guys talked lah. me and yh shared earphones and listened to the radio. ^^ haha. ok. Who wanna go bugis on sat? we’re buying hui yi’s prezzie, so hy you cant come. Lalala. My speakers are on the wrong side! I was playing cz, then I realized when the guy shot me from the right the speaker sounded from the left. Bah. There are too many wires to go sort out. Too lazy… bah. I’ll just continue being confused.
Today was fine. Besides the compo test. Argh. I didn’t know you had to write 400 words for hcl. I got rather panicky, and stretched a hell lot for the first half of the compo, then I realized I was describing too much (like standing up, sitting down etc) and that I had actually been writing 400 words for all my zuo wens. Bah. Well. I suck at chi. Bah. I still cant get over Nicole beating me. Bah.
There was civics, which is basically “fun stuff”, we had to build a bridge using newspapers and tape. Bleh. ours work but we made a suspension bridge, which was not allowed. All bridges are suspension bridges with supports, so whats the diff?! Instructions unclear! Oh and we had lang arts which is English. We learned how to “ask questions” : the 3 level intellect and stuff.
About 10 of us sneaked out of school to go parkway for lunch. Lol. the sad ones stayed back to take the test for literature option (wah. I don’t see the point in it. it wont give you any points, and you’re wasting 3 periods. The only purpose is to show off.) we went to mcd. Lol. then like went shopping. Haha. I was looking for a shiny keychain to hang on my bag. Or pencil case. Bah. I need a new pencil case too. But all of those I saw today looked real gay. Maybe I’ll be really dumb and get a flowery pastel coloured one. ><
Haha, we had to go for some imagineering intro. Wah. The teachers are grouping us leh. Die sia. Ok. Then it was a second civics lesson. We got our class groups. Bleh. im not sitting with the 4 ghey guys liao. Im with Justine, michelle, Pamela and I forgot the last girl! Ok. Today was fine all the way. Besides the really unexpected Chinese test. As in TEST. Not lesson. TEST. And they said no formal lessons. Wah. And it was fking hcl lor. As in im in express (ya that’s sad I know.) and they put a hcl test on me liddat. Just like the dhp entrance thing lah. and I could even reject that test. Blehness. So screwed. It so better not be a official test. Or im doomed. Well, it was damn difficult. Im so glad im not in hcl. Eh but if i actually pass maybe i wanna take leh. Then can skip Chinese in some other years. Oh. And theres a chi compo test tmr. Screwed lor.
There was innovation and enterprise, which supposedly is meant to be a fun subj. we got nice cute cushions tho. Then there was chemistry and physics. Both seem to be quite ok. so far. there was 3 periods of ss. we had some “collaborative learning group” crap lah. (wtf hui yi and Audrey yap have the same bday! (15 jan) Dieeee!!! No prezzies yet!!!! Sorry lah. eh, yh, dun forget to buy hor.)
Haha., psl session quite fun lah. all about frenship!!! Awwww…. Haha. we played chop chilli chop. I had to do a handstand for a forfeit! Evil lor. But they held my legs lah. the last time I tried a handstand on my own I fell forwards. =S then there was some activity in which you chose a photo of animals showing friendship, and then describe what the pic was about and why you chose it and how it represents something in life. I chose dolphins, which were supposedly to representing individuals that invigorate and inspire others. I likened them to really enthu people like ogls and psls who gave the spirit to people to pursue their goals. Lol. finally we had to compare friendships from pri school to sec sch to vjc. I said some crap about how friendships in prisch were sexist, eg guys+guys, girls+girls, then in sec sch it was diff liao lor. Heh. Blah im super lame lah. (at least I know it.)
Oh well. then we wanted to go for badz tryouts, but to join club you don’t need to tryout. Therefore, im in badminton club! Yay. Im still hoping to get into vball. Or air rifle. Bleh. must go sleep now. Chinese test tmr ><

w00t. went to raffles town club for dinner. My aunt’s bday eve lah (plus my cousin, uncle and another aunt whose bdays were in jan). it was at the usual jap restaurant. W00t w00t! Eh. She took this executive room which needed a minimum bill of $750. wah. Siao one. I think we ate up till about a thousand. Lol. shiok sia. Everyone had their own set meal. I took a salmon set which cost 43. for my bday in may I’ll try the lobster and beef set. There was this live lobster set which had a huge live lobster which was cut in half but still twitching. Damn cruel lor, and so not halal. But it tasted damn good. Bleh. mine was the usual threesome: tempura, sashimi, teriyaki. And the special salmon soup and rice bowl thing.
haha. then there was fruits, by which time we were all full liao. And there was frozen tiramisu which was super delicious, cos it was frozen mousse, therefore like ice cream cake! I haven’t had ice cream cake in too long liao. Wah. I’ll remember this day. The day we spent a thousand bucks on dinner. And had a hell of a meal.

Oh. And I bought yh a shoyru plushie from mcd. She sorta wanted it a lot. Haha. eh, its super cute!!! And it came with a promo shoyru tcg card, and she gave it to me. We all sorta stopped playing neopets long ago lor. But neopets are still cute!!! The tcg shld be quite good too. Then we all went to city hall so the others could return their tins. Lol. Max kept getting rejected because apparently his tin was “too light” when other people managed to give back their lighter-than-max’s tins (argh bad eng!) then we all went to raffles city!

Lol. Me, hy (!!!) and Yvonne went to max’s house. Apparently it was his two twin bro’s bdays, and they had too much food, so we were”invited” so extra lor. But fang ming was there too. His bros love fruitellas so we bought fruitellas for them. Lol. Wah. Everyone was like *point to hui yi* “is that your girl friend?” dun believe me go ask Yvonne lor. They could have said Yvonne right?! It so blardy obvious. Hmph. [edit] so unfaithful one. Actually its not [edit]’s fault lah, he’s so innocent… its [edit]! She’s trying to steal [edit]! wah. Like we sat down. Then look at food for a few minutes. Then hui yi took a squid. So I did too. Then Yvonne took a squid. And max took one too. Then after another minute of awkward silence we took cocktail sausages. Then max and me took an otah. (bah im listing out food. The point of this is the awkward silences and how logn we took to eat so little food) eventually we sorta got tired of this. So no one really ate much. The squids were nice tho. Haha. there was lots of food left. Eh, max says there were lots lots more, so he has to eat the party food for a few days. Lol. We went to max’s room and listened to ronin and play truth or dare. Bah. Hui yi put me last of the five guys!!!!! Im so pissed lor. Hmph. And you don’t wanna know who was first. As cindy would say, it irks me.

Today was the sea regatta! which was basically station games at the seaside. First we had to walk to the beach. I was talking with nazri and dennis about the gay vs om and their principal. Lol. Om chia. He’s damn famous on frenster lor. Every vs guy’s frenster acc has him. And the principal too. Damn the stories are funny, but too many to put down him. Im so glad im not in vs.
We did quite well for the treasure hunt. We combed all the places, and found 9 out of 10 pieces. Then we had to bury some people in the sand. Lol, I didn’t get buried! I had a fun time burying others tho. =) we lost to Trojan! Bah. Then we played 4 team cball! It was fking rough lor. More like some form of rugby. Wah, 4 teams is just too many. Jimmy says last year they played with 2 balls and people were actually flying out of the boundaries. I played for 2 rounds. We didn’t win! Then we played tug of war and combined with other flicks from even other films. But our side lost lah. I didn’t play.
Haha. so I didn’t get wet throughout the thing! at the end of tug of war they were starting to dunk all the ogls in the sea liao. Lol. Then it led to the members of the flicks. Me and dennis were smart enough to stay away from the beach. Then we all had to go for the jousting when they were getting ideas of dunking us too. Lol. The jousting was basically a 2 person pillow fight atop 2 bamboo poles hanging over the sea. Haha. it was quite entertaining to see them fight it out. Then there was the finale: mass dances. W00t. damn hyper lor. Haha. but most people were already tired and like some forgot the moves, so it was crazziee!!! In the end me and dennis were still not dunked, along with two other girls. W00t. oh. Heard that bending got stripped totally nude and dunked. Lol.
Haha, when we were walking back in individual flicks, we were between two Trojan groups. Their most famous cheer is” Trojan song4 boh?!” so someone saud we should like say that and see if they replied. So I did. Wtf lor. Like they all replied TROJAN SONG4!!!! Lol. Suckers. After the 2nd time they didn’t reply liao. Haha. lame sia. Then me, nicole, nick, aaron and ama went to take 197 to bugis. Max and sam met us on the way. At bugis we met cindy (lol cindy’s hair’s short but kyute!), then we all went to pasta mania! Lol. That place pwns lah. I had too much cash!!! Argh. My mum was like go treat them to stuff. So drinks were on me lah. lol. And I got a beef lasagna (9.30!!!) and clam chowder and other stuff. The clam chowder was very average, but the lasagna was quite good. Haha. then Audrey lim, Yvonne and tristan came, and after them was Vanessa and Audrey yap (she cut her hair too! But she looked chioer with ponytail lah. dunno why all the girls cut their hair)
Anyway, we took neos! W00t w00t. quite nice lah. whee~ then took 12 home. Dunno why I so angsty on bus lor. I miss everyone so much! Some tears just flowed from my eyes. I dun think anyone else saw lah. bleh. angst. haha. but as logn as we go out often it’ll be fine. If we manage to lah. heh. Shall try to return to dhs next week. Wtf I just found denys blog! Lololol. Damnit today was hell fun lor. Crazziiieee!!! And HYPPPPERRR!!! Haha. we had a house meeting! My house = aquila!!! I think 3rd house or smth. W00t. the house capt was like super enthu and bubbly lor. Crazzzieee de. Haha. Then we had a psl session. like get into random groups and play some game. You are blindfolded, besides the two commanders that are selected, then pushed and spun into random spots, and everyone has to listen out for the distinct call of your commanders. But then its crazy cos other grps are playing too. Lol. Anyway my group won with 30 seconds!!!
Haha, then main orientation started. Lol. First we learnt the vjc school song! Which is the same as the vs song. Bah. Its way easier to memorise than dhs de. Then those vs guys will like go out to the middle and do some vs cheer. Haha. its quite ghey lah. then we had our first first (and most prob last) free and easy period in the whole orientation. Cca walkabouts and lunch together. So like you could go find your frens and have lunch with them and go to sign up for ccas with them. Lol. Ok, my ogl jimmy is a vjc vballer who was from dhs!!! Aiyah. I signed up for vball, badz and air rifle. Like nick said, I most prob wont get into badz. But I have some chance in the others. Eh lololol. This is the really ghey part. The ogls created 4 fake ccas and were advertising it just before the walkabouts, and not many people realized they were fake. So like those who were smart/stupid enough to sign up with in a draw to go up on stage and do ghey stuff. Heh.
Then the wet games started! Omg, the first one was real gay lah. like run to a pail full of water at the far end, soak any cloth you have with the water and use your body too, and run back to the pail at your side, and release all the water into the pail. Lol. The guys were forced to take off their shirts! >.< haha. quite fun lah. it was crazy!!! I went two times hor. Bah. We got first!!! Then it was blindfolded minesweeper with a single commander. Dunno what happened but we didn’t get everyone across. Then we played some race thing with stuff in between. First one was dance around a pole 20 times (every single group cheated. Nick’s group was the worst lor! They went 1 round each! BAH. I went 4.) 2nd was finding a marble in some brown liquid. Then the third was using only your mouth to find and eat mentos buried under flour. Last was putting a rope covered in dough through everyone’s sleeves. Lol. Even though nick’s grp cheated their asses off, they lost out to us! We got 2nd! W00t. inante so pwns!
Then we had to prepare for the voscar night! Lololol. Damnit im chio lor. Heh. My tummy kept sagging lah. but my saa (she’s form inante too! Haha) lent me her evenstar! We were all like omgwtf. Its damn beautiful lah. somemore official merchandise de. Wah. Haha. thx so much! Eh, then after the role play, which was fkign amazing because I had never seen anyone came up with a full sized production in less than 24 hours and everyone in such a large group being able to contribute. Amazing lor. Even kscope wasn’t that last minute. Ok. Maybe 3 hours is quite last minute, but that was just the script. This is like organization, props, costumes and all in less than 24 hours. we got the voscar award for best role play!!! W00t!!!
After the voscar awards it was about 7:30 liao. But most of us stayed back to learn the final mass dance! W00t. they taught it damn fast lah, but still one would be able to do it if everyone else was. Lololol. We went back at 8. I reached home at 9++ hor. Wah. On the way home, halfway through the trip on 31, I realized I left my class tee at school! The KL one! I was like fk lah. wah lao. It was my fave shirt lor, that’s why I didn’t change at all! I hope dennis got it, I shared a bag with him. Unless he forgot his own shirt, which he also “treasured”. Bah, please dennis have my shirt. Eh, his sis is in dhs, sec 3 this year, in girl guides. But he doesn’t know her class. -_-“ I cant contact him lor. They haven’t sent us the flick contact lists. Bah, I’ll go super angsty if I lose my class tee.
