Wow. I've been clearing my stuff in my cupboard and shelves these few days. And everything, although it looks so neat and tidy, is so disorganised! Notes and booklets from IP mixed with production booklets and scripts and posters. But more strikingly, the notes we wrote to each other during our IP days, the Zocards, the different pieces of paper all stacked in piles. After keeping all of these so long, I never really had the chance to just sit down and look through them. There's no point right, looking back. Now it's time for me to move on - I've started throwing away a lot of the rubbish I've collected over these few years. But I'm still keeping the things I treasure (: The small gifts, cards, photos, and yes, the notes. You never know when memory will fail you (:

We marched 28 km (although in reality it was 35 km because our front scout got lost) overnight from Kranji memorial back to camp! Certain parts were really demoralising, especially when we didn't know how long more left it was to our next rest point. But the greatest part was seeing JB across the straits. The lit up CBD and the cars still driving around late at night casting reflections on the water. So pretty! Anyway, we got back and I was falling asleep during the parade haha.

Last week in BSLC! And my interview for the NUS faculty award/scholarship went well, the professors were friendly and it was more like a conversation about me and my life than a grilling that the medicine/law/dentistry interviews were like. Yay (: I can't wait to pass out and go somewhere nice to become a third sergeant.

Life seems so sian, just about army now. But I've never forgotten the days in VJC! The days I miss the most! Things I still remember and treasure (:

holding back tears on the last day of school. camwhoring in lt5 when the chem teacher wasn't looking! eating seaweed and chips in lt1. kboxing and singing our boyband songs till late at night. going to icecream chefs which really made my days! taking the subway line in beijing till past midnight. seeing paradise, the land of milk and honey, in new zealand. cuddling each other for warmth when we were wet, cold and lost on mt fuji. chionging to swensen's at day's end to get our cheap topless 5! the many theatre ip outings and suppers after. late night rehearsals with my beloved drama club. thaipanning with cast and crew and taking the van like fugitives! bbqs at chunhan's house. roaming through kew gardens to see swans. lying on the grass outside the imperial war museum. punting down the river in oxford. studying in tblock classrooms with friends. car-watching just before every a level paper. ben and jerry's at the treehouse. hanging out at the v13 lounge till sunset, with pizza, cake, and random card games. playing halo on the class computer till we got caught. rm outings with laura and michelle in holland v and atop rooftops. neoprints with nicole xiaoxian prema. group 4. sheesha with the homies and lots of good times. prom. postprom. hanging out with my bestest friends the day before i enlisted. the days after i enlisted. never wanting to grow up. always looking back...

OMG it's almost 4AM and I'm finally back from camp! We just got back from Exercise Grandslam, a 3d2n assessment field camp and Military Police came over cos some stuff got stolen so we stayed at the parade square till 2am. Gosh. Super tired. But quite surreal to be awake so late. Glad to be back home! Looking forward to going out (:
