WOW. Tomorrow's the last day of 2007! Yet another year gone! And next year will be the last year of schooling! :( I'll so so so miss VJC! And all my friends. I'll leave the angsting for another day. This time, I'm not going to take it for granted that I have lots of time, I made that mistake in 2006. I'm going to treasure this final year :)

I'm halfway through a glass of Bailey's but decided to come online first! Still in Malaysia, leaving tomorrow morning. Went to Kuching City today and did lots of shopping at the 3 central shopping centres. My biggest t-shirt shopping spree ever and also my biggest DVD shopping spree too! Woohoo! :) Miss all of you so I'm glad I'm coming home soon. But I'm not so looking forward to next year's many tests and exams and all those undone tutorials and assignments. :(

Michelle and her family just left the resort so I've got not much to do now ): Finished breakfast and I decided to check my email and stuff. Haha it's been fun so far :)

Day 1 - We landed in Kuching and went to the City to walk around and eat local food like kolo mee and shop and walk by the river at night!

Day 2 - We had breakfast in the hotel, stayed in the hotel to play minigolf and go to the beach and as always, I got dunked by her brother, and we suntanned and Michelle and I built sandcastles! :) We had dinner at a kelong seafood restaurant in another town!

I don't know what to do now, I'll probably go back to the room and watch Disney Channel and hope there's HSM on or something. Haha.

Hello everyone! I'm at the HK airport right now, waiting for my flight. Hong Kong is one crazy place. I thought Singapore's crazy enough with all the HDB flats and crowds and traffic jams but HK is mindblowing. Their flats are at least twice as tall as ours, their streets narrower and everything's just compressed at street level. Everyone walks really fast and it's all shopping and eating. But there are some great sights, especially from Victoria Peak! And I'm going to miss cheap boat rides across the harbour on the Star Ferry! :)

I also popped by to PRC land at Shenzhen where it's like a rundown, simulacrum of Singapore (because our good friend Kuan Yew happened to be a consultant to the Shenzhen development organisations). The Splendid China show's costumes and stage are crazily nice. This trip has been really quite nice. And it's true that there're many pretty girls in HK because everyone here has wonderful fashion sense and know how to look good, or perhaps, they're just born with good genes. Ah well. Back to Singapore then! Missed all of you!

3 things I'll miss from HK!
- Cha chaan teng (coffeeshop) food and utensils! I think metal cups are cool, and I'll definitely miss genuine HK-style French toast and bo lo yau (pineapple bun)
- The Peak - Victoria Peak and the Peak Tram! There are few places else where you can ride up a mountain inclined at more than 30 degrees or enjoy a panoramic view of a city as city-like as Hong Kong while being blasted in the face with winter winds
- The City - skyscrapers everywhere, and apartment blocks much taller than ours all squeezed into a city

Hello everyone! :) It's a damn ungodly hour but the airport's already busy and all. I slept about 2 hours last night and it feels so surreal. I miss UK and NZ! :( Sigh. Take care while I'm gone! :) The computer is so laggy. Argh. I'll miss you all!

Haha the holidays are passing so fast, too fast. It's already half gone, and although I've had the best holidays ever with all the going out and stuff we've been doing, it's not really been super fulfilling. Like I didn't go to either OCIPs, I'm not an OGL, and I don't have any attachments. I should have signed up for something! ): I really wish I'd gone for OCIP. Because that was my one chance to make a difference in their lives. Maybe next time then.

Anyway, tomorrow at 8AM, I'm leaving on a jetplane! Flying away :)
