Well, we went for chinese extra lesson today. So siann got so much Chinese homework! And I haven’t started on any homework! Blehhness. Haha then went to parkway for a while, then go sim lim. Got a 512mb sd card! W00t. by my common config, I can take about 542. ~1mb per photo. Lols

Then pack stuff. Cheryl says I overpacked! I think I did too! Dunno lah. Haha so far seems like quite little stuff. Lol.

Its 12:04 now on Saturday. Its officially the start of the 2nd stretch of hols! Oooh. Haha I shall talk about yesterday. Yesterday was jared’s bdae. And yesterday was also a half day! Classes ended at 950. and we had the ss test at 10. it seemed easier than I thought it would be. Haha nothing we studied came out! Besides the diagram thing! Damn bad sia. I wasted half my week studying for this shid! And I wasted my BIRTHDAY! Blehhness.
Lalala. Then I went to parkway bk with xtine, Eunice, chun han, naz and yirui. Haha we ate at bk! Then went around and yirui bought headphones. Haha and xtine bought bratwurst (the phallic one) and eventually we went to the library. Borrowed some comics for the jap trip to kill boredom.
I lost my Victoria wristband! Bahhh I have nothing to wear on my arm anymore! And I dun like watches! Dieee. I dun want to wear the 3 new ones! Sniff. Blehh.
Anyway, i went for dinner at rtc. The jap restaurant. Oooh. Nice food. As always. Never below my standards. Bill - $200. including cake and all. haha. and my aunt gave me a digicam for my bday prezzie! So I dun have to buy one anymore! Its 3.2 megapixels, which is better than my current digicam. I think I’ll bring two cams to jap. I’ll buy a 512 mb sd card tmr. I MUST have one. Or I won’t survive. Then we went to my other aunt’s house and had cheesecake there and took photos, then my family went home.
My aunt also exchanged sgd to yen for me. lol. and gave me 6000 yen as an additional bday prez. W00t! haha

Lalala. I love my new cam! W00t w00t! oooh and the 3g phone ROCKS! Hot. Its sooo hot. W00t. video conference. The graphics ROCK. damn. And the camera.. ooohh. *quiver* ahahaha love it. but I love my 6610i better. I love its lightweight, fail-proof and simple design. Heh.

Ahhh. Its Saturday already, 1208am. Haha so I shall talk about yesterday. Yesterday was effing 1337. heh. So I didn’t go for assembly, but instead put on an oversized blazer and headed down to the concourse with Jia Yi. mr dominic chua came along, we did some planning, then it was off to the Esplanade with the 3 of us in one taxi and the seniors in the other.
We had some intros, and since we had free time too, mr chua brought us to marina (across esplanade) for breakfast. We walked a few rounds before finally finding killney kopitiam, which was like one of the only eateries open that early. Haha it was nice! The kaya toast there is great! Thanks mr chua!
It was just us and bowen sec there. Like all the rest (including the 2 schs) would be going for the afternoon launch. The introductory speeches were made by the VIPs (ie not us lah. The very important people. Fine. We’re very important too! Argh bad pun!) then the press conference started. questions were shot (but at a much lower rate than I expected from a usual press conference) and then we were interviewed.
Interviews are just another form of drama. You put up a front, say what people want to hear you say (generic answers), while adding your own bits of opinions and personal comments here and there. Lol. Me, Jia Yi and Leslie were interviewed by the Newpaper and some random people. Then I had some tv interview by CAN which was rather screwed because my answers were not as professional as I had planned them to be, but still substantial by my standards (and hopefully the school’s).
OMG. Then came the good part. The refreshments. Snacks is not biscuits or cakes or drinks. Snacks at the esplanade (such as at that Mediterranean restaurant 2 weeks ago) means smoked salmon, unique tarts of sorts, delicate sandwiches – basically food you wouldn’t find elsewhere. Quite cool. Then the super mindblasting effing1337tified ultrauberestcool part came.

So I might be one of the first non-exclusive members of the public to even play on a PSP. a nice, friendly editor from Playworks (ie the biggest Singaporean gaming mag) who were chatting with us when he took out his ULTIMATE WEAPON OF MASS DOOM!!! A PSP. fully loaded with games. Damn. Jealously runs through my veins. I caressed its sleek body, my eyes piercing its shimmering glimmer. Ohhhh.
Heh so anyway, he let us try it out to get our opinion, and just to let us have (a hell lotta) fun. Too bad we could only stay for a while. We tried some racing game and tehn some golf game. The graphics are definitely 10/10. hot damn. I took photos with the PSP and shawn chung (that guy’s name – he was nice enough to pass me 2 business cards) and he said we could chat with him anytime. Lol! 1337.
Then we took taxis back. And I went back for ss. it seemed rather.. generic. The usual talk from notes and some discussions here and there. Chem was similar. Lol. Then went for rock climbing. Bah. Stoopid lah. Got till 3rd panel then got simran to the top right, so cant go there, then had to try struggling up the weirdish part. And being a non-pro doing the first try, with nothing to grip onto, I had to drop. Lol. Actually I think I saw one I could grip onto, but nvm. Shall try another time lol.
And fk napfa lah. All gold standard lehh. Except for 2.4 (BLARDY FIVE SECONDS) and shuttle run (10.1 to 11.4? WTF!). so I’ll be getting bronze because of shuttle run. I think. Im hoping that by some miracle I can attain a silver. Aiming for gold next year. And next year I’ll get proper running shoes with proper grip. Heh. So screwed up lol.
Learnt a lot about mr koh today. Scandalous. Ohhh the lies! THE LIES! Heh. And you know what he did? HE THREW AWAY STAR WARS OPENING DAY TIXS!!!!! I was like so shocked lorr. But not pissed. In a sense its better for mr koh not to watch it. Heh. Apparently he didn’t go cos he wanst in the mood for me. Then when me,chun han and mr koh were bringing chairs to the foyer, he said to me

I mean its blardy hard cos its so hard to find the enzyme structure which would still function in high temps and high pH! Bah.
Chinese was some talk by the ad guy. Haha we took notes in English! Lol. And I wrote stuff in my notebook. Yayy.
The sci competition was easier than unsw. Way easier. I’m unsure of only one question. But I think im quite overconfident about this. Im still upset that I didn’t do my best for the unsw. My reign of the competition will end after 2 years! NOOOOO “that’s impossible! It cannot be!”

Heh. Its already 115am on Sunday. Yesterday, I spent the whole day on eds nite! It so rocked lah! Went to parkway at 12, to meet tristan and Yvonne. We met some v14 ppl, and matthew too. Lols. Cool phone leh matt, especially the shooter game based on photographed surroundings. Damn cool. Like shooting in the real physical environment.
We bought roses! Haha I bought two for cindy and june, and also shared 16 roses with Yvonne, tristan and nic (whose presence was non-existant). We went to dhs! Wah so long never go liao. We made an enthusiastic entrance into the co room, said lots of hi’s to long-missed friends. That sorta stuff.
Then all the vjc-dhs-eds people came! And we watched the afternoon show and evening show! Lol. Its great lah! Eds night rocks! Haha. Then we played vball in between the shows. Then the night show’s audience was like enthu/ap lah! And got more people we know de. Like sec3s and all. Haha super fun lah!
Then we gave the roses! Haha sorry cindy! I’ll get you another rose! (she had to sacrifice one of her roses cos we forgot to buy more) and to all the sec2 eds ppl applying for vip, good luck! Omg. I left my “Band it Victoria” in school! Bah. So lonely without it! Bah. I think/hope its in class. If not I die of sadness. Haha so anyway math was quite ok. I didn’t get 8/8 for math log assgn6! No fair! ALL THE EFFORT!!! Wasted! Just because I didn’t put the y=18 line in the graph! Bah.
Then the stoooooooopid 2.4 right. I missed gold by FIVE seconds. Fking FIVE seconds. And I deproved by 1.25 mins! Like wtf! Almost everyone from DHS except darho deproved! Like no fair lah! Then like ss was slacky. Slept in class for a while, then went for RCC. Bah. Dunno if I can commit. Cos I wanna join vball next week! And it might clash. Naz! Sorry if I might have to quit! Sorry! We played some group station games, which were quite fun (as nazri might be happy to know) then some of the v13-ers went to the Aquila function.
They had food there, some live band thing. Yeah. But me, sean and kog went to 7-11 to buy ice cream. Wasted lotsa cash today. Heh. Then met yuhui at the gates. Then bought one rose and a sunflowa for mich, and one rose for Eunice. And sean bought a daisy for Gillian! So sweet! Ahaha. The concert was nice! Haha I loved the guest band thing. My kind of music. Wonder what they’re called. Haha nice job Mich, Euu and Gillian! Yayy!
Haha gave the flowers to them. No fair! Girls get flowers! But guys rarely do! I haven’t gotten a flower for like quite long liao. Haha. Never mind lah. Then went home with yh, who was all freaked out by survivor. Hah.

Lol. See previous entry for halo results. Killing spree! W00t! lol. Everything was fine today. The health check was not as bad as expected. They didn’t have to check most of us, just made sure of our vaccines, and an eye check. My left eye still perfect. I know my right eye’s screwed. Im going for something other than a snellen test to make sure. Ahaha then naz was called in for a strip test. And xtine was like “eh Nazri! Your dream come true!” lol. Naz was saying something about hot nurse before that. Hmmmm.

Omg. I got pwned at Halo! Haha 22 deaths to 7 kills! (see entry before this) but at least it was CTF, so of course I put courage way before intelligence/strategy. Lol. CTF rocks. It’s mindless carnage. Better than slayer where you have to sneak here and there. Anyway I got my killing spree in slayer with a banshee. Bah. They don’t have ghosts! Damnit if they had ghost and I were playing juggernaut it would just be the like class chalet.

Haha bio was fun. Yupp. We got to do the Bierut test in class! And we also got to go down and get all sorts of proteins. Like a lot of stuff got protein in them. So we bought snacks, and I brought an ant, and prema got a decomposing mango etc etc. yupp. lols. I don’t really like toulmin’s model. Its getting boring! We need more visual and audio aids! And mr koh says he’ll lend me his radiohead mp3 cd, when I asked him which radiohead album I should buy. Heh. Yayy!
Then nothing much liao. Oh. And apparently Justin hacked into the vip portal, but it wasn’t him. Explanations ahead. Justin rather dumbly (sorry dude) let the class com save his username and password on the com. And yesterday, after most of us had left, someone made Justin’s account the admin using mr gi’s account, and hacked portal.
There is proof, because when you click on the username box at the class com, only Justin and mr gi’s accounts come up, usernames and passwords and all. And we logged into justin’s account, and there it was, the whole damn template to edit. Heh. Nubbad. That person damn boh liao lah. Lols. Poor Justin. Ehh. First thing: we have to get log in records and check when “Justin” logged in yesterday. Then narrow down the list. Yeah. That’s the way.

Electrico – Fabled Angst Machine
Geez. I thought I’d be able to blog on Saturday night. Now its 12:48am on Monday, but I still feel awake. Heh. So anyway, yesterday was the parents-teacher meeting! Haha it was wayyyy better than I expected. I came to school at 740am, and played Halo in class. Heh. Still nubbad at it. Yayy
At 8am we got a preview of a photovideo that mr koh was testing out. Omg. Like photos of us! Doing stuff. Hmm. Mr koh! I know you’ll read this eventually! Post the video up! Or face the consequences! Whatever they might be. We set up the tables for the info counter, and then Yirui’s parents marked the start of the whole thing – ie (gasp. I used ie!) they were the first to come.
I think that vjc is like super professional in parents-teachers meeting lor. And the teachers have really put in a lot of effort in organising all the stuff for us. Personalised booklets and schedules. Info counter, ushers, refreshments, the powerpoint presentations which are quite nice. The organisation is super pro, just like the jap trip. We should all appreciate the teachers for it. Yupp.
So me and my parents went to see Mr Koh, Mr Lam and Ms Low. Ahaha. Quite a few parents dun seem to like the idea of a whole day in Tokyo Disneyland. They have no idea how much THAT means to us lor.
Oh, and a lot of open secrets eh? Mr Lam knows a lot of us copy homework. Heh. Not surprisingly lah. Its an open secret of the educational world. And he thinks im better at the languages! Its not my fault! I mean like from one of the best in math till one of the last in class! Bah! Haha nvm
And then my group for Ms Low’s meeting was like me, Eunice and Laura. Haha we talked about stuff. Wah my mum talk about what crap about what morals and stuff. Bahness. But I guess it was quite… relevant. That’s what civics is for right? Hmm. Not sure lah. Haha we discussed about Making A Difference. And other various stuff. Then the thing ended and we all talked more. So the parents-teachers meeting kinda rocked.
Ahaha yayy. I think I love VJC more than DHS! But I miss some DHS ppl. Haiz. Haha nvm. VJC rocks! And eventually they will come to VJC too! Yayy!
My parents took me to Harbourfront for lunch. We went shopping. And I got myself a nice airplane pendent thing to put on my wallet. Yayy! Ahaha. Then I went home, and even before I could take a bath, I was already asleep. Instead of doing my work. So I better sleep early now. Slept at 2am the day before. Lalala. Sweet dreams everyone!

somehow that’s stunningtly true. I can never never ever keep my own secrets. But I defo can keep others! But I just cant trust myself. I do not have internal privacy.
Its 12:41 now, on Saturday. And I’m being ironic by blogging before I start doing my homework. Yesterday has definitely been the best day among all the weekdays. Near full energy bars on friendster! W00t!
It started off ok. I actually managed to complete some simultaneous equations. Yayy!
Then PE was so so so ghey! We had the napfa 5 items! And it sucked. I got As for IPU and sit ups, the easy ones. A c for sit and reach, and then im gonna redo shuttle run and sbj cos I got below c for those. I MUST get a gold this year! Stooped leh.
Shuttle run like last year got 1o+ secs even when I dropped the thingy. Then now it’s a miserable 11.4. so I must redo. Sbj im just aiming for 206, a C, which takes less effort than shuttle run. Its like my shoes are too smooth for some reason. So I must slow down early. Then when I try barefoot my feet just hurt like hell. Bah. Maybe I’ll wear my running shoes next next week for the retry.
We got lotsa homework during ss. And I still dun like the idea that I have to study for ss test on my bdae! That so sux lorr. I want prezzies! Yayy!
Ahaha. Then we, the drama people, left with well-wishes from our classmates. Morale was high. We had a final run, then sorted stuff out. I had a hell lotta free time after dinner for some reason, so I went to the rock wall. And signed up, but couldn’t climb today. Wah all of them damn pro de leh. Die lor. Then played some vball here and there. And eventually, the time for preps started.
We sorted out the stage, make everything neat, poured feathers over the stage. Haha SNOW! Yayy! There was a lot of stress and pressure on the cast, some on the crew too, but once the first scene started, there was no stopping. It went so smoothly. So perfectly, almost like a dream. Go Matsumaya go!
At the end, as we stood there, in the spotlight, big grins stretched across our faces, it was just like the ecstasy that follows every successful performance. I think I even heard some cries of “go Mark!” or something, most prob some crazie ppl out there, but these may just have been a figment of my imagination. I was filled with a happiness I hadn’t known for many weeks.
I sat beside Koganti as Private Parts started. It was one hell of a comic ride, funny all the way, sustained comedy and attention level. My favourite moment is when Ashish (ie Warren Krishna) says “I no speaking the good engrish!” in a mock jap accent. Heh. In the end, it all ended, and we had a long epilogue / curtains call, including almost everyone. Ahaha!! So happie. We were all giving each other high fives and slaps on the back and cheering our asses off as it ended grandly.
We cleared up, and I went home with Tristan and Aaron at 12. im still full of the energy that was given to me. Wanna thank lotsa people, those who came down to watch!

Its 12:08 now, on Friday. Today marks the start of the whole chain of major May events. And I just gave up trying to do lang arts. I sorta know what my answers will be, but im just super lazy to type it out. Bah. I shall do later tonight, after drama nite. So I got back late, again. And today will be a super super busy day.

Drama. Heh. I could have gone back at 8, but I stood in for Prema in Private Parts, so I left at 10. I managed to finish some of the math assgn 6 with help from yijin. Yupp. So not too bad. And its quite fun. Running here and there. But it’s a real drag and very very sian. Oh and naz! I might not be able to join RCC this week! Sorry! Drama’s taking up all my time! I think a few others want to join too! We can all join next week.
And they gave us tandoor chicken rice for dinner. And I had pizza and waffles and ice cream on the way home. Yayy. Now I shall stone and fall asleep.

Ahhh. Its already Thursday! But its 12:42 am. And I got home not long ago. Wah. Drama lasted till 10. the run ended exactly at 10pm. Seh lor. Damn tired.
We had not one, but TWO tests today. The UNSW Science Quiz, which I totally flopped for the first time. I MUST get high distinction. Or I shall be angsty. Wahh. And I’d be super disappointed. I made 2 “intelligent” guesses for 2 questions liao! Then in the end no time, but I forgot what my guesses were, so I anyhow shade! Bah. Bah. Worst UNSW ever.
The second test was chem. Surprise quiz! Wtf lor. Haha. But open book. I still failed. 7/15 I was too shocked to even remember what atomic mass or abundance was. Then when I realised that total atomic abundance was ONE, it was too late. Just so affected sometimes.
Lang arts still fun. Then no philo, so we played halo multiplayer. Drama isn’t so bad. I’m not sure who’s quitting now. But the season is gonna be over. I’ll see how much slacking drama allows. That will make my decision. But I’m still joining RCC! This Friday I hope. Yayy!

Ahaha. Hmm. So we had to sit through the SC investiture. Heh. Quite sian lah, but at least got to skip Chinese. Yayy. Lang arts is fun because there are lots of insights or opinions ready to be made known, just like a heated discussion during philo or when daryl enters v13. then rest of the day was quite ok.
But like what the f lah. We are learning NOTHING that we don’t know during website-design course! Like WOW I really DON’T KNOW have to BOLD my words! WOW I learnt how to make hover links! I never knew that! I think they should let us use PROPER computers that don’t take 5 seconds for one letter to appear, and have dreamweaver installed so we can actually progress. Heh.
Then I painted tea cups and a tea pot for drama with rach and yue ting, so that the stuff would look like authentic ancient jap stuff. Poster paint dries surprisingly fast on porcelain. And I shall join rcc soon. Dunno if I wanna quit drama now. But I guess so lah. Budden its like our “season” is gonna be over soon. Bah. Im so torn apart again! Again.
And I bought 4 vjc band things from v12! Lol. 2 white, 1 red, 1 yellow. I spent 10 bucks today! But at least most of it went to a good cause. Yayy! V12 really has business initiative. Keep up the work!

So today, we enter the month of great events. Yes. I can feel the shudders of pleasure inside me already. O0. and now I shall attempt to find my cousin’s blog. Hmm.
Like I said, Esplanade. I was shocked, rather disappointed too, to find that the whole place was rowdy and crowded with people dressed rather inappropriately. It had become a sort of marketplace. Some May Day carnival going on, full of screaming babies and ringtones and all. Atmosphere just wasn’t the same like, say, maybe yesterday, where it was all quiet, calm, stately. Heh.
Anyway my aunt treated the family (ie with uncle, another aunt) at a Spanish restaurant. It was effing ex. Haha but soo nice. I had porterhouse steak and a glass of red wine, like I usually do, and tried some fried cheese (which isn’t as nice as baked cheese) and Spanish egg pie (weird form of quiche) and lobster bisque, which I haven’t had in a long time. Ohh. Satisfying meal. In a quiet and dim Spanish restaurant. Yayy.
And I bought a collector’s edition Episode III calendar card! Yayy! Haha it’s so precious to me. And the printing in flawless. It features the teaser poster. Yayy! And we went to haagen dazs. Haha ice cream! I had a sundae with midnight cookie and bailey’s ice cream. Omg. Damn nice sia. Heh. Thus, I cost 50 bucks on dinner alone today.
Lol happie. Ahaha. But i’m so full now. And I have to go for drama tomorrow. That so sucks. Bah. Hate drama. I want EDS! I wanna go back for EDS! Anyway, naz, I’m joining rock climbing. Yupp. Yayy! And my music taste has turned to contemporary opera with nice music, and alternative Brit, for some reason. Hmm.

You know, the ironic thing is that in today’s countdown, the number of days left is the same as the date (19 days to May 19) Apparently that’s because today is the last day of a 30-day month.
Today was a mixed-up day thing. My parents rushed me to the esplanade in the morn, so that I wouldn’t be late for the debate. Turned out I was early. Lol.

The debate was about censorship as a NECESSARY evil. Obviously I was supporting the opposition, just as sean and kog were. And in the end, opposition obviously won. My main point if I were debating would be that the government should be allowed to advise us what to be exposed to, but not physically restrict what we are allowed to watch/read, thus giving us the choice, while exerting a lighter influence at the same time. Yayy. And the deBAYte ended off in a crescendo. I’ve marked off two other days to attend the upcoming deBAYtes. Yayy.
