I've been awake for 36 hours! I was the platoon IC this week and it's been really busy with our final, largest exercise of this course! Endurance - navigation route march with tests at each rest stop! In the end, my detail marched around 35KM but it was all good in the end. Got back to camp in the early morning and saw students going to JC, and I realised how much I really really still miss going to school and seeing all my friends every day! I was the parade commander for our beret presentation (: I'm quite happy with myself, seeing how I completed Endurance without any exercise for the past 1.5 months and having not taken part in any of the progressive route marches. Yay!

A good friend once told me "you must still be the super-happy ever-optimistic mark when you ord k." Sure, I'm finding it hard now, but I'm working towards that, because deep down inside I know that's who I really am and no one, no situation I face, no matter how painful, how heartbreaking, how devastating, how much it shakes my belief in the good of the people around me and those I love and care for, can take that away from me (:
