A tangled web of lies and truth intertwined in a depiction of both the most explicit and subtle of tales. Exposed, the context and the characters, yet so implicitly subtle, the multitude of emotions and meanings that lie in the subconscious.The first time I felt like everything was slipping away from me, I searched for a way to keep a piece of every special moment with me. Blogs, notes, little bits of mementoes here and there, photographs. Now I’ve taken too many. Like Charissa said yesterday, I want to take photos everytime I go out. For memories’ sake. (Sorry to everyone (like Charissa and Simran) for always forcing you guys to take random group photos, so I shan't anymore. Sigh. haha.) Really, have you seen your life flash before your eyes? I have. Every single moment I’m awake.

I am bound to the past. It haunts me. I haven’t been sleeping well. 3am almost everyday since the hols started. Can’t stop thinking about what has gone by, and what will come. So today, decided to go. After the filming (and raining), stopped by at the HOD room and asked all I wanted to know. So now I do. But of course, can’t say what. I am filled with conflicting emotions that result in this dark and deep neutral feeling. like you feel so… neutral it hurts. Because you feel disappointed, but then you don’t, then you do again. It sucks. Argh.

Anyway, my trips are like going up in flames. Seats for Kunming still on waiting list, which probably won't happen. Hong Kong just got bird flu today. So probably Malaysia. ARGH. Malaysia again! Kuching. But ahh. I think I rather go KL. MUST SEE THE DAMNED TWIN TOWERS THIS TIME. Argh I hate malaysia la. Wah stupid go all the way there to see the towers then they close on me for the whole trip. And my parents aren't letting me bring the laptop on the trip. Argh. Damn it la. Why is my life so nearly perfect? Sometimes we take for granted the simple things that makes our lives so blessed. Hahahaha sorry michelle for being late. Haha so anyway we went to chun han’s house! Lolll. Oh wait, we went to the arcade at hougang mall first. Haha then act pro at first then got malu-ed when the guy who drifted damn nicely stood behind us giggling. LOL. then we watched Tokyo drift at ch’s house. WOOOO. WAHHH it’s visual orgasm la. Wahhh the drifting is… pure…. Pwnage. Haha but they never show supercars leh. Only import tuners and muscle. Lol. ok whatever. Wahh the driftttt. Then bring it on! Hahahaha I chose both movies. Wah its so… bimbo. Lol. and we played monopoly while watching! Yay. and tried to walk in canals but got freaked. And stoned at the playground and clouded the minds of children.
Then group 4! Yayyyy! =) hahaha I love group 4! I love all my groups! I’ve had wonderful wonderful groups! Hahaha and we had subway! Yayyyy I love subway too! And pool! Hahah first time for quite long. And first time legally lolll. Nice! I wanna go again! We should have grp4 pool reunion every year! Woo! =) hahaha yay I learnt the techniques today. And I love the spider thing. My best friend la. Haha and we played till quite late. Haha just reached home – 130. haha yayyy. *is happy* hope you guys like the cards. Will miss y’all. =( sigh. Article A: We went to take a look at the Ferraria Park showroom today, after a visit to my grandma, and at the recommendation of Michelle and Nazri. I love the style of the interior deco, and especially the architecture. A clean look - white, silver, clear. My usual style. Bright and cheery yet stylish and classy. So now my parents are seriously considering it. But it'll only be ready in 2 years. I'm thinking of somewhere I can move to now though. Like Tropica! With a beautiful view of sunsets EVERYDAY! Haha. The design and style of Ferraria is probably nicer and to my liking though.
Article B: Quite a shocker. NS letter came today. Haha. Well. I've to go soon I guess. And it reminds me that I am 16.5 years old!. Which reminds me of my birthday which makes me sad. =(

The last ip2 event ever and I screwed up my photos and it’s the end and we’ll never be able to gather together again like that and have so much fun and I’ll never see the girls in their pretty prom dresses and the guys in their suits and take photos like that again and I screwed up my last chance and will I ever get to see my class as one again will I ever be able to go back to t23 and call it home what is going to happen to me and all the close friends I’ve made and I’ve been through this before that’s why I know friends forever is a lie…
Until something like 3 or 4 or 5. then I had to wake up at 8 to go to school to help out in the school video awards entry. And we did the voice recording today but I kept speaking too fast sigh. They shouldn’t have gotten me la. Anyway tomorrow’s the filming for my part. Riding a bike at ecp lol. ah well.
We visited Jastine at KK and he’s ok now. Quite a shocker yesterday. He explained Pneumothorax. It occurs, in Jastine’s case, “Spontaneously,most commonly in tall, slim young males”. Hmm.. anyway he’s in stable condition now. So Jastine, take care! I think you might be online once you get your laptop there.

Also, Asia’s economies cannot do without the dominant socio-political ideologies of the West (specifically the US) and American culture remains very much a large part of our lives.

I was spectacularly late for the mini fun fair at SHPS. The whole thing was gone when I reached. Ah well. We went to this… Qi Ji place at Century Sq for lunch. It’s sort of umm… an eatery. Dunno what to call it. Something like Ya Kun or Killiney but selling main dishes lol. Quite good food. They even added lasagna to the menu yay. Then, behold, the ARCADE. WOO I love Daytona. All those hours spent on NFS has this wonderful effect. Haha I’m driving manual now. And it feels GOOD. Haha then we went to Darho’s house. Watched Devil Wears Prada. Omg omg omg. The FASHION. Is so glorious. I wanna live the high life one day. Gotta. Hafta. WOO. Then Just My Luck. Which was in some ways fun, in most other ways SO LAME. Lol. but Lindsay lohan is so pretty! Hahaha then we sat around and talked a bit about prom(s). hahaha.

So yes. After waiting for my parents to return from prison (LOL), we went down to people’s park. which is like damn ulu. Ok whatever. Anyway we began looking for trips! Yay. which was unsuccessful because I don’t really like people’s park and I don’t want to go on a tour. I want a free and easy to Australia or NZ! Whee. Just relax by the beach and watch hotties going by.
Then we went to Swissotel for dinner to celebrate my dad’s birthday. And I shared a fondue with him. I thought it was the cheese one, but it turned out to be Fondue Bourguignonne - deep-fat fondue. I was like OMG. Argh. But it wasn’t that bad la. Just damn unhealthy. It was quite an experience. Hahaha when you dip the beef in, the oil bubbles madly and you hear a gurgling sound. WOO. Omg. But I think I prefer cheese fondue. My mum had some cod fillet in errr vegetables and tomato sauce thing. Dunno la. As long as it’s cod it’s nice. WOO. Then we had banana split and a chocolate sundae yayyy.
MMM. I love swiss food. And yay my parents likes the ben and jerry’s. I bought them a pint to share haha 2 flavours somemore! Cos I definitely owe my mum a bdae present after buying her hsm. And also not giving either of them presents for previous bdaes. Yes I’m a bad son. Sigh.

- Not growing up (emotionally? oO) fast enough – For being angsty and depressed AND depressing from May to a random month in term 3. I spoilt my own birthday (actually it was pretty disappointing itself), my whole UK trip, and generally school for me. For getting upset over nothing. For making myself upset with my own emotions. For putting on a façade. For forcing myself to be happy just so to fulfill my duties as welfare, to keep everyone else happy. For not being happy when I should have been.
I don’t have any other regrets. Just that one. Maybe this.
- Not becoming a PSL: My only excuse/reason/obstacle – “I’m introverted”. And most people were like WTH. I did go on the last day of the umm IP1’06 Orientation. I guess that makes up for not experiencing the rest of it. Haha the last day was fun. All the crazy water splashing. I’m still undecided whether I should have been a PSL or not, but the opinions I get mostly lead me to believe that I should have been one. lol.
Which I don’t really regret because in the end I was still happy. Aaron once told me not to regret anything. That’s damn good advice. I still stick to it. All the choices I made, like choosing to balance my life and not study hard enough the whole year when I could have aced the exams both years and not sing Mai Hum, I don’t regret. It’s just that I might have been happy the whole year round and made it easier for those around me to be happy, and I didn’t. Haha I still wish for everyone to be happy. That’s my greatest wish of all.

Haha so the Hilton post-prom room thing appears to be more complicated than it seems. The whole “we don’t want you to make noise” thing is not about courtesy to our own people. It’s not just the Hilton, it’s all the five-star, high-end hotels in town. EVERY hotel, not just Hilton. And why? Because good old Bush (ahaha. bush. Haha anyway yay. Vivocity is nice. It has shiny, sparkly floors! And it’s huge. Just like Suntec City mixed with all the other shopping malls along Orchard Road. Woo! But I can’t really find my way around yet haha. It’s cool though. And somehow, SOMEHOW, I ended up going prom DRESS shopping (as in I din’t buy la). With Xh, pam, and xtine and laura whom we met haha. I shan’t reveal anything. Anyway all I did (mostly) was sit outside the fitting room waiting for them. Haha. OMG PRESTIGE. OMG OMG OMG.
Ok since I’m probably not going to go swimming tomorrow, I think I’ll stay at home and angst about the IP ending and try some sketching. And maybe even get some assessments for chem, math (GASP. Assessment. I haven’t touched one since p2. and even then it wasn’t my parents who gave them to me. my parents are so anti-assessment lol. but koh (darkside)said I should work on chem and math. hmm. Oh I’m supposed to ask koh (ephraim) what to do.) haha and upload class pics, and play with photoshop. Ok gtg sleep. Nite ppl.

We ARE the next GEP. The IP was meant to phase out the GEP. But whether I'm going to face the same sort of discrimination as I did before will only show next year. It's a matter of time. Perhaps it's an inferiority complex, or just a tendency for segregation, both unfounded. But I hope it won't be the same. I've had enough. Seriously.

So we wanted to bring Xijiao to try some Singapore food before she left. Gluttons’ Square was closed argh. So we went to the foodcourt at Marina. Haha thanks Xijiao for the drinks! Then we went for a bit of prom shopping. And Xijiao wanted to take the river boat haha so we went to the Esplanade , where we decided we’d leave it for next time, but then we went in the end. Haha it was fun la! Not super fun like London eye, but very refreshing haha (even in the haze which has come back ARGH) haha to see Singapore in a different way. Haven’t taken the bumboat for years. And we took more photos! Haha damn fun la!
Then we said goodbye to Xijiao, and went to Suntec to look at more prom stuff! Haha. Then I met my parents and we went to Colbar (http://www.visitsingapore.com/publish/stbportal/en/home/about_singapore/ezine_home/Jun06/fine_finds/Colbar_.html) for traditional Western fare. Not bad. But I bit my tongue earlier so it wasn’t as enjoyable LOL.

oh today was quite fun! Haha I love papercutters. I’m gonna get one yay. yay I think our poster looks nice. For a boring poster. Hahaha its colourful! And so its not that boring. Yay. haha then we went for lunch at kfc oO. Because of nazri. Haha took the zinger instead of 2 pc meal lol. oh yay I love nz natural hokey pokey! Haha yeah then walked around a bit and saw the new store. Cool la! They have the music box thing from uk. Which I din’t get cos the stupid shops in oxford close so damn early. Ah well. Haha then on the way back, nazri commented that ip is over. We don’t talk abt ip stuff anymore.
And yeah I’ve kept the feeling away for a long time. But every day it’s inching back to me. I wonder when it’ll hit me. Or brush by me. A dusting. Or a battering. I wonder if people can really move on while holding the memories. Haha. I hope they show nice videos on symposium day.
