hahaha sam and Justin just tried to impersonate me. but they fail terribly cos of their disp pic stealing skills. lol. suckers.oh. now cleaven too. heh. anyway, I was in lamentation this morning. ytd I read 9-11: Artists Respond. it showed how 9-11 brought out the worst; hate crimes, madness, sorrow, antipathy, bigotry, hatred; and the best; bravery, goodwill, cooperation, support, helpfulness, unitedness, hope; in people. the comics were touching, some parts so hurtful or sorrowful and unbelievable. some parts so hopeful, optimistic even in the face of adversary.
then I read a few blogs ytd. and one blog caught my attention. I saw how he was so hypocritical, couldn’t see the log in his own eye. how he kept insulting others, saying how he has done better, how he could do better, how he insulted her by saying she flamed another person when he himself flamed me not too long ago. calling people hypocrites when he himself is one. oh, I wanted to flame him. but I thought about it. thought about myself. everyone’s a hypocrite, can’t you see? no one, no one ever sees the log in their own eye.

I became really pessimistic. cos I realised that I knew so much more now. I always wanted to know more and more and more. a thirst not just for knowledge, and gossip, rumours and bitching. this has led me to become so much more enlightened about the world. and I tore away the façades and skins and countenances of humanity. and below all that I saw hate, jealousy, anger, fear, bias, hypocrisy. and I looked at myself. and saw the same. below this shell that we wear, we are nothing but ghosts of the sin that has wrought generations upon generations. it totally wrecked me. I’ve changed from innocent and naive (yet blissfully optimistic and cheerful), to being wiser about this world and its people, but it has only turned me into this.
Yet, I found hope. Today I went to church, and it was mission Sunday. the speaker talked about how in a traffic jam in Manila, he saw this boy dying on the pavement, and wanted the bus to move on. then God touched his heart, telling him that He loved everyone equally. He loved everyone. the world. every single person. and the speaker went on to say that if we were ever asked “where is your God?”, then go down the deepest among the lost, and there you would find God and all you had to do was to hint His name and his holy fire would spread. And we sang It only takes a spark. it is in His love that we can find hope.

It was rather amazing. And this is the last time I’ll be presenting or taking part in the open house, and that wearies my heart. Haha. but anyway, WAH FUN LA. Sat around and talked cock first. Then sang the koganti song. Haha it’s damn famous now. Especially because ms tey can’t stop thinking about it. And also because we sang it to the juniors this morn. Hahaha. Oh. Then it started. And it was like a military operation. I spotted parents. Then shouted. And never saw everyone get up so fast. Like got attack liddat. Alarms in all the classes, everyone scrambling into action, manning their posts, the 3 lines of defence. Lol.
Presented 3 times. Haha. not bad la. Then mass dance! Amazing. And cheering. And cheering. Then went to far east and ate subway with xx, louis, Xh, nic. Then borders, taka. Dinner, home. Ah well. Oh! I want Jazz In The City 2! They were playing it at gramophone! Haha and it’s nice! Especially Jamie Cullum’s cover of High and Dry.

Omgosh so high! Haha the pre-performance was ok. Lunch with the trees, then full run, Italian-tech run, stone in LT5. then I went out to see who came. Took photos. Helped a bit with the ip booth. Went back in. photo-high. Then warm up. The good lucks and go trees, go first tree, go ip drama-ers, go stage-right, go COS haha all the random stuff! =) Haha I looked positively radiant. I had the most lipstick among everyone. Wah. Lips so red like gonna burst liddat. then there was darkness.
Woah. Like woah. Haha the only big mistake was the toytrain part. Hahaha. Goodness la! The pause was so long and obvious! But not sure who really noticed. Then the trees! Woah. Hahaha fun! Omgosh. When the final tree ended, it was high time sia. Screamed. And screamed. For all the world was worth. I started the yo vjc with soong ming and ben. Hahaha cool sia. Love vjdc! =) let’s rock syf!

Garden! Yay. Better than staying in class. best chem prac ever! Omgosh totally. Mixing all the chems together. I mixed 1 to 12 in order. Woo. Then high period! Ea! oh. my mum's best friend went to be with the Lord this morning. most were prepared for it, cos she has had cancer for a long time, but she still looked so strong, so determined, so normal. then just like that, the sms came. i mean, i met her not too long back. din't know it would be the last time. she had wanted to move, so my mum thought she needn't call to let her pack everyth 1st. then like that. my mum said that we have to treasure every moment we have with the people with love, and even though they were close, she is contented that her friend had already been saved a long time ago. may God bless her and her family, and bring comfort and peace to them. rest in peace.

Actually I'm a cross between the 2. Not entirely noon or sunrise haha.

OMGOSH HIGHHHHH DAY!!!! =) hahaha yes. 3rd period pe. Bah. But fun! I ran 8 rounds. Haha. then pullups. Yupp. Then ss, pe. Ohhh badminton haha fun =) wheeness. Then bio and chem. oh chem was interesting haha I like pracs without reports. =) and yes. I got taupokked just before chem. which was pretty dumb. I was like “eh taupok sean!” then all the guys rushed there. Then sean was like “TAUPOK MARK!!!” then I wasn’t even thrown on the sofa. And my head hit the ground. Ow. Hahaha crazy la. And damn Justin stepped on my face. Bastard sia.
Oh I’m eating rockmelon now. haha anw EA was the happiest I’ve been in quite a few weeks. LONDON TRIP OMGOSH =) haha I never thought I could be powerpoint-high. Hahahaha so fun! Then we got in our groups. (omgosh I LOVE MY GROUP! Laura, Pam, Xh, Yirui =) WHEEEE) and shot out british stuff. Haha omgosh fun. Then watched the office. Wah but so short de. Blehh. Oh so fun! I love London trip and I’m so looking forward to it and I love my group! =) haha. I wonder how many memcards I’m gonna need. At least 2gb. Haha.
Then I had t42 w mr koh. He brought me to some café at siglap cos he din’t want to eat in sch. (there’s a reason we all go to 7-11) thanks for the cake n tea! He explained economics. It’s not finance. It’s not commerce. It’s not business. It’s these 3 on a wider perspective; sociological, political, etc. oh apparently they had commerce stream before haha quite cool. I’m still not sure of my occupation. Being a pilot, he says, is hard cos of regimentation and I know I’m not the kind who will stand being shouted at. So I’m keeping my options open with a balanced combi.
Then we talked abt how hard it is for me to leave the past behind. It’s like cos old friends, we promised each other to keep in touch. Now we don’t really talk much. And it’s the knowledge that I WILL move on that scares me. But so many people have told me to let go and move on, so I’ll change. Yeah. I’ve learnt so much this year. Esp thanks to mich. Thanks =) He said that if we move on, we will find more friends etc and shouldn't like let all this stop us, and that we know we have to move on, so we should make the best out of the time we have left with our friends.

Oh went to COOS today! Since my church no service but got some weird gathering. Haha very reflective service. Our sins are why Jesus died. Haha so yes I shall change. =) ohh good Friday. He died and suffered. For us. Then they showed the part where Jesus was on the cross. Torn, broken. He gave us his all and came down to earth as one of us.
Went to Holland v! it’s so nice! And pretty! Just like one of those swiss towns! Yay! And they have really really nice shops. It’s so swiss townishy! Like it =) ate baked rice at swensen’s then ice cream mudpie at gelare! Haha mmm then yr leanne lq went to town. Haha I went home. And slept till 1am. Wah crazy la! Was supposed to start my religion essay! At least I got some proper rest finally.
My dinner/supper/breakfast at 1am was a happy meal! =) haha cos that’s the best meal at mcd. The rest all have fries and coke. Which is ew. Haha cheeseburger meal! Haha quite… interesting… story. Third part was good. Not because of the toplessness la. It was funny haha. well we were warned that it was nc-16. and they had the red light too hahahahaha. But still was unexpected. No wonder the ushers asked us what sch we were from and if we know it was rated. Haha. I think it was because I already read the synopsis for the second part that’s why it paled in comparison to the rest.

Haha last day of helmsman week. Next week, it’s back to sch wk. We had the trade fair. I think our decision to partner another group and get funding from average joe was quite good. Haha. And we designed a lot in that hour we had haha. Average joe even wants to use the new logo and poster by yx n Daniel! Haha cool. 51 is actually very good liao. I think that’s 2nd? Haha yay.
Religion was good. About Christianity. One of the more touching parts was when he talked abt how God’s compassion and love had no bounds, it’s unlimited, unconditional, how God can forgive us time and time again, infinite times, and yet when it comes to ourself, we forgive a person the most 2 or 3 times and the love we give is tainted by our human pride and fleshy desires. Haha.
Oh no, there’s so much work! =( argh. But there’s always hope. Which gives us strength.

Hmm ok day la. Haha but very busy. Oh I made the flyers! Haha. the pretty pretty one! =) quite nice huh! Tho the printing was a bitch. And in the end we dint have to print 120 la! I wonder where all the paper went. And tomorrow will be even larger scale. =( wahh starting to not like this liao. But at least it’s last day tomorrow. Argh gonna be very busy next week till the end of term. 3 research projs, syf, class outings, plan class chalet etc.
HAHA the best part was the blindfolding part. Damn funny sia. First one was in the guys toilet (and yes I was the one who told Average Joe.) Cos you see, Henry was on Desmond’s left in the toilet. Then desmond was pissing and henry thought he was washing his hands. Then he was like “eh desmond move over la” then pushed him away. And stuck his hands into the urinal HAHAHA. Damn funny sia.
Then second was the great epic battles of V13! Zeekuan is the undisputed master of the dark side. Watch the video! And you’ll understand. Anyone who wasn’t there to experience it should have been there. It’s amazing skills man! Respect zhi quan, respect.

More games today. Haha King Kong won! Haha but the prize was like oozy. And burst haha disgusting. Anyway we won! Woot! Haha great job =) ate pizza!!! Omgoodness great Sarpino’s pizza goodness! =) wah not bad. But I prefer pizza hut (besides the price of cos) haha especially the seafood. We dint take the Sarpino’s NY Deli pizza! Lol. their house special is good too. Mmm. Pizza.
Went out after drama. Cos I decided today’s my rest day. I think. Koh, on Monday, was like every week must have at least one day when you let yourself do the stuff you like. Today I learnt the diff between SHOPPING and BUYING. Haha. but today I went just to look around. Ok I think that phrase should be changed. Shopping is looking around for nice stuff to buy and buying them. Buying is going shopping with something in mind to buy. One is random, one is planned. Lol.
Anyway, suntec city (where I got a pretzel!), marina sq, city link. It was rather interesting. Hur hur. Anyway I’ve grown out of the whole giggle at (stuff) stage. Lol. I dint spend any $$! Besides the pretzel. Haha.
And you don’t have a care for me. Sick of all your lies. Maybe you’ve hurt me too much. Too many times for me to continue like this. Finally I have learnt how to get out of these fairy tales, because they never do come true. We’re the top! For today! And we’re gonna pwn tomorrow! go KING KONG!!
Oh fun part of the day was the final game! Win as much money as you can. Haha I saved char and naz by giving them money. Cos like everyone rush around for cash, then like no point fighting, sooner or later gonna lose. Haha tho I dint thk of thking of a strategy at all. Then char n I went around and she somehow got 10 coins during holiday. And I found an Australian 20c! so nice and big and shiny! Lolll.
It’s true leh. How it reflects the world outside. The hardworkers, the bosses, the slackers etc. and how loopholes need to be overcomed. And how we need to challenge authority. Something like that. Hmm interesting. A lot of small stuff tend to reflect things on a larger scale. Haha.
Ran 100m. haha got 7th in my heats. I think I could have run faster and maybe gotten 5th. But hell, no point, cos not gonna be in finals anyway (is that the kind of spirit that lets you fail? Or is it being smart? Lol) no need to push myself. Haha quite fun tho. I love sprinting (and NOT running long dist. Unfortunately, the Army requires long dist. I hope it’s more marching than running. Reminds me. I need a t42 session.) ah well. Ate at lagoon ECP. Mmm thai coconuts! And I think im allergic to duck meat hmm. Or something I ate/did early this morn. Have been getting rashes for no apparent reason. They come and go very quickly and it's weird. =S Lol.

Haha a bit weird day. We had a small worship session in the morn. What happ to everyone?! Only me yr sam and 2 juniors! Haha. but still it felt good to praise God first thing in the morn. then yoga. The stretching was good. But the relax relax relax part was kinda crappy. Lol. might as well fall asleep.
Tea session. I was more interested in the future of the VIP and our lives. Koh says we’ll definitely be split unless we try and take the same combis etc. they’re still deciding what to do. Come up with a plan. Like some tutorials or activities will be VIP de. Haha quite ok la. Oh yeah, EOY MUST have dinner/party/prom. =) haha it would be a fitting end. (argh end! =( ) haha then London talk. Hmm London looks nice =) haha oh we got prizes! Lol. then stayed in sch for no reason. Just to think. Enjoy the peace and quiet being the only person in class.

Bought lego! Star wars lego keychains! They bought 2 (Pamela bought an Anakin, Xh bought a trooper, we all bought the darksider), I bought 1 and a jedi starfighter! Haha yayy then walked to imm. Ate at a hk café for dinner. Mmm. Not bad. Soups, noodles, hk desserts. I adore hk desserts. Theyre my fave chi desserts! =) but definitely ice cream still beats it. Haha had honeydew sago with ice cream. Xh bought mango pudding with mango ice cream and sago haha. (food note: best mango pudding is homemade at jurong hill Indonesian restaurant) haha mm.
Sat around while they did some art thing. Haha and helped Xh clear up her piece. Lol cos the purple kept going into the blue. One day I’ll make my own. Relive childhood la. You know I never did that when I was little? Haha so one day must do. And go bedok reservoir too! (link: I have never been to bdk rsvr. Even though I live at walking dist from it) haha then took mrt home with pam. And talked abt London. Haha cant wait for londonnnnn yeah man. Gonna be one great trip. 2 weeks in a foreign land! With friends and all. Haha sights and sounds. (and yes la shopping la.)

I can't believe I was gullible enough to believe you. I can't believe you would lie to me. Really.
Haha went to airport for lunch w my parents. Ohh the food is totally great now. Haha. i had grilled catfish w seasoned veg and grilled herbed potatoes and homemade mushroom soup! And at the staff canteen so quite cheap. As in below 10. Haha. then went to sch for cashflow. LOL our group ah. The instructor a bit blur blur haha dint notice that other groups were playing fasttrack. Cos he wanted us to learn more (which we did) in the rat race. I think we did damn well considering we were stuck in rat race. Haha jared had 15+ properties, oh which 13 were acquired near the end when me, kog, zhang yang gave him all my cash for downpayment. And sam got million+ within the rat race lah! Wah not bad huh. Haha
If this is a joke just because it was April 1 then it’s a bad one cos it’s really not funny. And I’m not laughing. I just can’t believe it. How you act so nice. And behind, I’m nothing.
Went to yoshi for dinner. Then pastamania to meet more people. Then haagen dazs! Haha shared some strawberry thing with ch. Mmm nice. Esp the apple pie ice cream thing. Thanks for the treat ch! haha I will treat you some other day Woo! Just got home tho. Tired… but quite happy haha
