Well, most of us will still be in Singapore. But bryan is going to the us. I was like wtf? and stuff. at 14 years old he’s going to the high school there. But he has a good reason lah, his dad has been posted there. Oh. And he’s been living in the roxy mercure hotel for 3 weeks liao. Wah, can waste so much money. Yeah, but of course all these comes at a cost. Im also leaving. 20-21 for senai (omg. Buspark!) and 6-14 for perth. Omg. Im so sad to leave! Yeah, buts it’s a hol. Finally I get to go overseas. Its been a long time. No time nowadays for long trips as such. Oh yay. Ill go to perth to play lan and use msn over there. And maybe buy a few books. Not sure if im going to perth tho. But getting to see buspark is good enough. I might get a few pics. Yeah. Going to vjc tmr. And my hair is ruined. Its quite ok lah, but im not suited to that kind of hairstyle. Im so sad. Ill go sleep instead of being angsty.

I thought up of a futuristic thingy called the memory banks. Its like a company where you store your memories, and anytime you want to relive them in a most vivid level, you would just go to MEMORY BANKS CO. then sooner or later they would create this product (somewhat like a computer) in which was more convenient because you could now store your memory in a hard-disk sort of thing and whenever desired, could emulate that memory in your mind, making everything seem like real, except you wouldn’t be losing any time.

Well, the lit seminar. It was pretty funny and quite interesting, although the Q&A sessions bored me. I so want to read atomic jaya. I think the script, not the dramatisation would interest me. (ie timeline, Michael Crichton) yeah, and the ri plays were funny. Yeah. I guess it was better than I expected. I went to orchard and stuff. Nicole wanted to go see the Singapore idols at heeren. So we went there, it wasn’t as crowded as I expected it to be, but it was still quite early so maybe the crowd hadn’t formed. But still, there was quite a lot of screaming. And Eugene got some photos. I don’t really see what the fuss’s about. I ate at yoshinoya with cleaven and we went to hmv. The new westlife and mcfadden albums aren’t out yet, so I’ll keep my money to buy those 2.

Then the others went home, and me, sb, nic and samc went to kinokuniya! W00t. omg. The books are soooo nice but they’re all so expensive. Sadness. Then it was like the library and stuff. u borrowed timeline and man in the high castle to reread, and the Philip k dick reader and the andromeda strain. I started on the pkd reader. Its quite brilliant actually. I think pkd is way better at short stories than novels. His endings for novels suck. But the concepts are just brilliant.

Sam went someplace unknown. So it was just me, sb and nic on the mrt. Just like the good ol’ days. (somehow the phrase “me against the music” is stuck in my mind. It sounds so familiar) I got all angsty and stuff. it sorta reminded me of pearl harbor the movie (“I’m leaving” “we’re all leaving”) I know whats going on between sb and nic! Heh. Im so smart. Oh. Now I remembered. Anyone for the triple date? Me and yh are dating each other! (delusions of grandeur) Yay! Ok. Nvm. That was crap. Anyway, my parents have cleared a space for the new comp table, and apparently my dad will set up the table tomorrow. I hope the comp comes next week. But I wont do much with it. Im too lazy to buy the lan cable to create a network. Meh.

I went home early with cindy, because she had some music lesson thing, and I had nothing left to do in school. We just talked and stuff. Today was kinda boring. Yeah, and I got all angsty. Argh. Why does this farewell thing affect me so much? Ill try to control myself tomorrow. Yup.

Oh yay. The bball courts were closed to us because of the o lvls and music exams. I couldn’t really find a nice autograph book in time, so I sorta bought an exercise book instead. Yeah, its kinda sad, and very very cheap, but I had no choice! Ill bring a proper notebook tmr. But actually Id rather use the exercise book since it has been decorated by some girls, and have stuff written in it already. Oh well. We got to watch some “romance of the three kingdoms” cartoon during Chinese. Quite well done, but I really suck at understanding the storyline. And the language. Argh.

Then there was this gay drama workshop thing which was awfully similar to the drama sessions we had with eds. DEBBIE! (ARGH it’s a char siew bun im eating right now! I hate char siew, especially after seoul garden) we had lunch at mcd and talked until 5. all sorts of stuff. Gossip, future, life, and the general stuff we usually talk about. Oh. And I wrote a poem called “flight”. Meh.

Whee~ the first thing we went for was the talk on subject combis. It was rather irrelevant but still the band of brothers vidclip was pretty cool. Mso was so 1337. reuben and js got killed halfway through the game and we played ft against some insane comps. Insane comps are INSANE. They rushed us early in the game with overwhelming numbers. Evil. But I used aoe2 tactics and expanded to two more gold mines. My resources score was the highest and I got 2nd. I mean 2nd in our team. The comps killed us. Argh. Ft is so much harder compared to aoe2. I usually get the most resources and have the fastest gather rate. But then I cant keep up with the micro management so most of these resources go to waste. So I usually send them to other people who can use them effectively. Yup. But usually I will have quite a large army… eventually. Undead is the best for expansion. Night elf not bad too.

The irs presentations weren’t too bad, but pretty boring. And quite useless to us too. But we must appreciate their hard work. Anyway we got back our overall grades. I was rather disappointed because of 3 reasons:

1) I missed top ten by 1 position (ie 11)
2) I didn’t get an A (68.9)
3) I didn’t get top for Chinese (2nd)

Kinda sad lah. But the ice cream I took just now was the perfect cure. We played vball and watched the vball team practice. Omg. I wish I could serve overhand as smoothly and efficiently as they could. Oh. And I wouldn’t mind having dragonball z hair too. Yup. Vball rocks! And I decided that I don’t need an autograph book after all. There’s some contact list, so one would be quite useless. And anyway… we got NEOPRINTS!

There wasn’t any rest today. First was the general knowledge quiz. Meh. The questions were quite easy. They’re were way easier compared to the general knowledge quiz we got last week. Heh. 2L lost because they answered 1998 instead of 1997 for the hk question. Sadness. We got first! Yay! Heh. Then mso started. I was a facilitator for frozen throne. We spend a lot of time trying to get the comps not to screw up. game 1 screwed up a few times. The other games went smoothly. Me, aaron and Nigel played a ffa during game 3. heh. Free lan!

Then we had to go for some cratoon drawing workshop. Meh. We got to draw as much crap as we wanted as long as we pretended to listen. It was just the basics lah. But the turtle thing was quite cute. Then me, nicol, aaron, Tristan, cindy and Audrey had some semi-eds lunch thing at seoul garden. Omg. All you can eat till 430 for 11 bucks.we had lots lots lots of stuff. I love meat: chicken, pork, mutton, beef, fish. And the vegs weren’t bad either, especially the mushrooms and carrot-type vegs. The best was ice cream lor. Mint, choco-chip, mango… and I added chin chow and honey dew. W00t. it was 11 bucks well-spent. I hope. So anyway we took neoprints and went home.

Then I decided to go on a long walk to cut those calories (im skipping lunch tmr) I started from the first 12 stop in tampines, and walked all the way to my house, the only stop being at the mrt. Half an hour and I was home. Yay. So now I know its possible. Next time im trying from still road to amber road. Or maybe even our school. So like from church to school. Yay. Wah. Tomorrow’s another long day. Time to sleep. And I decided not to get an autograph book. Its kind useless.

Heal – westlife

Wah. Why does my comp hang everytime Eugene starts a convo with me? Bleh. Oh, and if sb trys to get you to watch salad fingers (especially episode 3), just don’t do it. It’ll wreck your mind. I was momentarily going mad. Spoons. And the red water. And nettles. Its all just crazy.

I finished the 1984 summary. “He loved Big Brother”. The ending came just too quickly. It was too contrasting to the initial character of Winston, and this transformation should have been made over a longer period instead of just a quick effective torture. Im also reading the city and the stars by arther c Clarke. It seems quite brilliant, but I’ll have to finished it first.

Tomorrow is the start of the last week of school. It will be a sad affair. I want lots of photos for remembrance. Not just neoprints. I think im going to be crying a lot. Especially on Friday. Its so sad. Its so hard to part. Why cant everything be the same. Omg. Totalitarian. Argh. The sorrow cant be expressed in words. It just comes and goes. but its presence is most excruciating. Ill just have to deal with it. Friends forever people!

Its been a long day. Im all worn out. Yeah. Its been a bad week, and im glad its finally ending in a beautiful way, as most bad weeks for me do. It started off with the science Olympiad. Vs got 5 days to prepare. They were forced into it. And we? 2 days notice and being TRICKED into participating. Life just aint fair sometimes ya? The competition was mostly physics and logic. So it was kinda interesting to me, but still really just a waste of time. Vs’ ballista-style catapult rocked though. It cant shoot about 5++++++++ m, but they got to use those 1cm thick rubber bands. Ours failed on the first 2 attempts, and hit the target in the centre on the 3rd try. It could have gone further. Sadness. Our bridge fell when nick placed in on the table and put his finger on it. Zero points. Argh. So anyway, back at school, mr yeo was telling me that my Chinese grades were great, as compared to what I used to get back then in primary school. And that 2nd was better than everything else. Except first. WAHHHH! Congrats Nicole. I just need some ice cream.

My parents brought me to ikea to get the comp table. They actually decided to eat at bk. Bbq turkey bacon double! Yay! So we got a comp table. I chose a simple, compact one with a white finish. My style. I like those glossy white stuff. Yup. I don’t like shopping with my mum. She has to rant and nag about all the tables and how I put junk on them instead of in my cupboard. Anyway she got me two soft toys. A squirrel and a polar bear! They’re real cute! I love ikea! So I sorta can look forward to a comp next week. After two months. Ive been wondering if they are still keeping the computer or have just decided to destroy it.

Dinner was really really outrageous. Dish after dish of Japanese food at raffles town club. All my faves: salmon meal (ie 10 salmon dishes including sashimi and roe. w00t.) chicken and seafood food (ie teppanyaki + tempura of chicken, prawns, scallop etc) sushi, more sushi and a cool kiwi-passion fruit juice. W00t. and a whole 1kg American cheesecake. Total cost for dinner and supper: $250+++ and I played time crisis at the arcade too. Whee~ im so tired now. I want gta:vc. Visa pls lend me.

Disclaimer: the following entry contains considerable amounts of angst.

Oh man. This is the most screweeeeeed up day ive had in months. And I thought it would be a beautiful end. Well first, we finally got back all our papers. And grades. I didn’t get one A except geog. And I didn’t get top for Chinese. Yeah, I wont take this too personally. I screwed up Chinese sa, ie 63. I still got a A2 for Chinese overall so that’s not too bad. I flunked maths, lit and eng. Like severe. Yeah. I got a C for maths. 59. I was like all omg and stuff. I hate algebra. Eng and lit were 61 and 62 respectively. Argh. Whats the point. Whats the bloody point if I just whine and whine. Oh well. There are 3 things I must understand and have understood from this.

it’s a lesson to be humble, not over-confident etc
never put your hopes up too high, or expect to get what you expect to get

oh well. Why am I so upset if my parents are ok with it. As with everytime I flunk something, they just tell me to work harder. Apparently they don’t want to put stress on me after seeing one of their friends son faint then pass away from too much thinking. He was a genius. A brilliant genius. Even more brilliant than ernest. And just gone like that because his mental capacity didn’t fit his physical capacity. So whats the point of it. Darren keeps complaining of his scores to everyone, while he doesn’t know how others feel, does he? Argh. Whatever

second incident. We went to js’ house when he was not at home. Nick threw the launching part of the catapult into the canal. To tell the truth, I was pretty upset with this whole science Olympiad thing. No one expected to participate. We thought we were specatators. They lied to us. They LIED damnit. They TOLD us we were spectators. Argh. Oh. And nick pushed sb into the pool. And they got scolded. I don’t think sb or nick might want to show their faces at js’ house for a while. We didn’t get anything done. Yup. We’re good.

At the bus stop I got all angsty. Hui yi had to bring up some people again. Those I just want to forget. Yeah. Ansgty. I’m all angsty now. Im not in the mood for anything. Yeah go ahead visa. Call me a fking dumbass because I am one. Too tired lah. Its time I took a good rest and forget about everything and concentrated on the future. I do have a serious personality problem. Shit.

W00t. I like created a catapult out of ice cream sticks and rubber bands during supper. It likes I didn’t use any guides and came up with the whole idea and development juts like that. It takes some time to figure out how to balance and improve the whole thing. Now from a handheld, I have a catapult which only needs a single force and a stable surface to operate, without having to hold it. Yay! But I don’t think it would win that stupid science Olympiad which we’re competing in. when I signed up for it, I thought we were just spectators. And the organizers just gave us a 2 day notice to build a catapult from ice cream sticks, string and rubber bands by Saturday. It must fire as far as possible and try to hit the target as accurately as possible. WAH. 2 days. And we wont even have the materials till tmr. Its good to know other schools also have such short notice. But I bet we have the shortest, its juts like dhs to give us this kind of last minute projects. Argh. And we thought there wouldn’t be any more homework. At least its kinda… fun. better than having nothing to do. Oh. And I want the rubber band machine gun! Its like so cool and stuff. 300+ us bucks. Buts it quality work!

We got back 3 papers today. Geog was my best (72.5), science was average (65), and maths was most disappointing (59). Damnit I hate algebra. But there’s no point in whining and moaning and groaning and saying how this sucks so much like Darren does, so we had a lan party! Omg. Cs. I love cs. Good thing I haven’t been addicted again. Im still safe. But cs rocks so much. Now isn’t the time to buy cs, it’ll get outdated soon. There are lots of other games. But still none can beat the supremacy of cs, although it will die out in a year or two. Oh well. I left the lan party early. I called yh and she said she and a few others were at parkway, so I went there to meet them. After some discussion about ice cream, we went to mcd to have ice cream. I took the prawn burger deluxe thing! Its niceeee! Whee~ oh. And I still don’t have my new comp. my parents are like all too busy to find a comp table. They’re too busy for me!

Keeping the dream alive – freiheit

Oh well. We kinda got 4th for vball. But the juniors got 2nd in soccer! Go KL! Whee~ there wasn’t much to do after the interclass. Lunch at mcd, then some bball at arang. Some guys were like acting all ah beng in front of us. They wanted a match with ying xiao and us. Then yx was like sorry. Then they got all kao bei and acted all hooliganish because ying xiao said sorry. If they really wanted a fight then they should have been smarter. Like 4 people vs 15-20? Dumbasses! Meh. Wah. Minority report rocks. The book. But it’s a short story, the book that I borrowed had nine other stories. Some were really outstanding, but most I could predict the ending halfway through the story. Oh well. Tomorrow there’s some general knowledge quiz. Should be fun. then we have to lug our tables and chairs back to class. Then maybe even get our papers back. I lost to nic in Chinese! I got 69.5, she got 72. but that’s just for final exams. Nicole’s right lah. Whats the point of getting top in Chinese (besides the kino vouchers) I still kinda hope to get top. It would feel… nice.

Real to me - Brian mcfadden

W00t! nice song! It’s kinda semi-angsty and kinds seeking realism. I love these kind of songs. But not angsty types. I like realistic songs! Yup. That’s it. Wah! The vballers won 2f but lost to 2i. it was so sad lor. So evil. 2KL v 2I was bloody tense lor. It aint fair. 2i has lotsa vballers! Wah. All the spikes. Wah. How to jie one?! And somemore they can save the vball and send it back from some other court on the other side of the compound. 1st hit went out, then some girl took a 2nd hit was and stabilised somewhere halfway down the other court, then the 3rd sent it back to our side. Wah. I was quite impressed by that lor. So irritating though. But no worries! We can still get 3rd. we will lor. Just relax lah. Mental strain isn’t good in vball. Must stay relaxed k? all of you jia you!

Oh. Then we went to bugis! They took LOTS of neoprints. I think something like half an hour. I didn’t take lor. I wasnt angsty lor! I was reading. -_-“ anyway got so many neos its useless to take more. maybe some for remembrance lah. Then we had lunch! I had 6 octopus balls! Next time ill try the prawn ones! And no yh, they are not alive. Live prawns have a grey shell, and when you cook them they turn red or orange or pink. Then we had vanilla cones! And Darren had this great idea of running through the fountain. So yh, yy and yv followed him lor. Dumb enough too. Then there was another great idea to go BACK TO SCHOOL. We reached school and there was a heavy drizzle. I played some bball then some vball. So tired. Really lacking sleep.

Wah. Interclass! Well, we sorta went early at around 7 at kampong arang. Played a bit vball, then the interclass started at school. The only match the vball team played against was 2d. yeah. We won. The guys lost the first soccer match against 2h. that guy called Dominic was like bloody rough. RHINO! Meh. Sb kept leaving the goal post open. Argh. Wtf lah. Im not in a position to say. So anyway, we played some vball, then went to kfc for lunch. Rj bought the ripoff noodle salad thing. 5.50! and it like sucks and all. Oh well. We went to arang to play again. Oh. There was this mini-tornado thing which blew lots of leaves into one whirlwind. Me, yh, rj and darr were like running into it. I have no idea how this actually came about. It just amazed us. A tornado right before us on a road thing. So weird. Where did it come from? anyway, running with it was fun! The wind howling in your ear and you feel like you’re flying! w00t.

The second soccer match was at 330. meh. We’re out of soccer. WAH. Like always out on first day. Oh well. So we played bball and vball. I played a few matches. Oh. And I learnt something. Don’t listen to sb’s advice. Yup. Especially during bball. I played vball quite ok until the final match when I was really beat already. Cant even react to the ball. That’s sorta physical limit. When your eyes just start closing and everything goes blur. Together with mental strain after the exams and my non-stop research on quantum and classical physics and the current world war 3 (google search : world war three) and also the late night shows, these can really drain a person of energy. Wah. Gonna die liao. Im going to sleep soon.

Omgwtf. Ezone’s lan sucks. As in serious. Like you have to try to log in (LOG IN. I mean like, who logs in into lan computers nowadays) for 5 minutes after trying for 10 times, then cs wont start until you log out, go downstairs and tell them to reboot the comp, and do this again 2 more times. Tho the monitor is pretty cool (19-21” lcd) and cs runs pretty well on it. Although the mouse is too sensitive. Zion still rocks lah. Anyway I pwn3d at cs. But matt and ah di haven’t been getting much prac too, so I guess it wouldn’t count. Its time to get back to zion. And face the reality that I just suck at lan games like cs and ft. I borrowed some books from the library: minority report, we can build you, princess diaries take two, introducing quantum theory. Princess diaries rock! Im gonna read the first book next. Hm. Watched pearl harbor just now. Yup. But I got the vcd. They cut off at quite an appropriate position. Commendable.

Wah! I got ripped off so many times today. And oh, mr ng was playing vball yesterday. And mr tan was playing soccer. They’re good lor! Its shocking how our teachers are so good at sports. So anyway, bugis! Like super rip off place. Haha. I love thw fountain! Its like a sort of art. The precision and purity of the water makes it a form of visual art, in some unique way. We took neos! Omg. The first set was sooo screwed up. then we ate lunch! My lunch was one of the most expensive ones and with the least stuff. First off, I bought octopus balls. I took the bacon and cheese ones and after that, octopus. They rock lor. Cost = $2 x 2. then yh wanted to eat ice cream, and so did i. we had some gelato thing. Omg. RIPOFF. 3.80 for 2 scoops. But the scoops were tiny! Argh. It tasted REAL good tho. I had ferrero and almond! W00t. it so rocks. But still nothing beats movenpick under the alps. Then I ate sushi! $1.50. and shared some choco pudding thing with yh. $1. wah. That’s like more than 10 bucks. And it wasn’t even filling lor. But lunch was delicious! Whee~ we took more neos ($1 x 2) then went to some marketplace across the road.

We shopped around for some shorts and hairband thing for the vballers. They didn’t buy any hairband lor. I bought a fake set of the us most wanted cards. $5.Wah. RIPOFFED. And my parents don’t like it either. Its too bad I cant give it back. There aint no refund as pasar malams. We went back to bugis! The girls bought some leather strips thing to tie on their heads instead of hairbands. I bought a mood ring for hui yi. Wah yh. Its not what you think lor. I owe her a bday prezzie, and getting a ring for someone doesn’t mean you like that person, right? RIGHT? I’ll just get you one more ring ok? But you must promise not to lose it. Oh well. We took the mrt home. Its been quite a good day. Fun! But I wasted a hell lot of money. I’ll be wiser next time. W00t. exams over~

Well bleh. Final exam days. The days feel so empty. No more mugging. Your brain just deteriorates to its previous pitiful existence. Argh. Dnt was too easy! I wish every exam was as easy as dnt! I like drawing! Whee~ im in ft for mso! As a facilitator duh. My ft sucks too much. Right, so we played ball from 9-2. wah, crazy lor. Its like strain your body beyond limits. So fuuuuuuuun! I love vball and bball! Whee~ we went home around 4. I took 12 with nick and yh and cleaven! Any trip home with yh is interesting lor. She never runs out of things to say. Fun! Omg. Fun day! I like kinda woke up with a mathematical thereom in my brain. It goes like this: if a series of values have n-type pattern between the nth number and the result, then there will also be a n-type pattern between results. Whee. Final day of proper exams! So w00ty. Like Chinese and literature! Cant study much for those, so I kinda slacked yesterday. Meh. Quite ok lah, but kinda boring. Too much time! I wish the time we waste during these two exams could be used I like history or geography, where time is essential. If not it just goes to waste through stuff like drawing comics. Well, tomorrow’s dnt. Omg. Who’s gonna study for dnt?! I think I’ll just read through the summaries. Drawing will enable me to pass liao. So I don’t really care lah. Either way it aint included in grades.

Omg. Freedom. This means I can eat and do WHATEVER I WANT! Freedom in the air. Woah. Just feeeeels soooooooo gooooooood. Vball! W00t! blocker position’s the funnest, although you have to get used to the twirling. I guess it comes with motion sickness or something like that. =S bball! Bball! Yay! I was right. It is possible to score a 3 pointer without looking! So fun! I scored two times in this manner. Its more accurate than if I actually look. =S sadness.

We went to BUGIS! Whee~ sad lah. I didnt buy anything! Except jap food! Omg. Yoshinoya beef bowl! And miso soup! The miso soup is SO nice. Then I tried some chicken yakatori. The sauce is nice! Happy! Whee~ oh, I found a book at kino I really like! 101 things to do before you die. Its bloody hilarious. 20+ bucks though. Kino = overpriced. Seriously overpriced. They sell CLASSICS for 20 bucks. That’s serious bullshit lor. Oh well. I didn’t. buy. Anything. Wah. Must go for shopping spree! 1000 bucks to spend! W00t. I think ill limit myself to just 100. 1000 is like beyond even my limits. Took 12 home! Bus 12 has been a source of endless interesting conversations. “I’ll miss our conversations” – Last Samurai. Oh, I better clarify something with yh. Yes, its time I told her and stuff. Oh well. Shall go study for dnt in the meanwhile.

omg. Tomorrow’s the last day! Who gives a damn about d&t. its over! Boohoo. The science exam had a LOT of unexpected questions such as nuclear science (which was quite basic) and the alpha rays thing. I used to read about this kind of stuff, but I like panic when I saw them. Anyway I managed to answer most, but I don’t think my answer for the alpha rays thing was that appropriate. Haha, I borrowed nic’s shirt after school! Its like just my size, so ive been wearing two sizes bigger for two years! No wonder my pe shirts feel so weird. Oh well. Played bball! Whee~ full court is so gay lor. Then we ate at mcd! Hui yi was so bad lor. Instead of sitting with yx where there was lotsa space, she sat between me and yh! So bad. Ying xiao’s so nice to her lor. Okok. I hope she doesn’t see this. Then we went to the playground and played hopscotch, just like in shps before they destroyed the hopscotch grounds there. Im much better at it now, even though I haven’t played in 2 years. I miss shps! Sob. Hopscotch is fun! Wonder if we can bring chalk to class and draw our own grounds and play. Haha! Now the triple date has 5 couples! We’re either watching Wimbledon or sky captain. Meh. Hist exam tmr. scared. I think I studied everything twice. Well, at least I hope so. I even typed out a list of the terms. I feel prepared. Its not the content, it’s the time you’ve got. I hate hist exams because you cannot stop writing or you know you’ve lost a couple of marks. and you only stop when the bell goes. Theres not even time to check through your script. Its scary. So scary it goes deep into your veins. When you do a hist exam you are isolated from the outside world. You are so engrossed in finishing the paper that you don’t even care whats happening anymore. its like magic. Oh well. yeah. I watched saving private ryan just now. Sadness. Good movie though.

I tried to study history today. I tried. Oh well. I watched the first half of u571, then some documentary on the gulf war. So I gained some interest in the 2003 iraq war thing. I downloaded a few articles just now. Its quite interesting. The Iraqi forces were sadly outnumbered and underpowered. At least it was quite short, but a shocking number of people are still dying every day. Oh well. I went to the old house in hougang, the bungalow thing owned by our family. Nice food! W00t. oh. And there’s like 4 houses across the road owned by one family. Apparently they made a fortune out of selling fish balls. =S you wouldn’t even be able to buy a computer from the profits made in 5 years of Bizlab. Sadness. Oh well. I shall study a but more history, then go sleep. I can study everything in detail tomorrow after church. History’s still the hardest test. ARGH

oh well. today was an ok day I guess. We were scaring people in the morning at the staircase. Me and Nigel were the first ones, and we got jun kiak real good. he just fell to the floor. Sorry jk! Eugene and max’s reactions were damn funny too. Eugene saw me and he was like, eh mark, what are you doing here? Then Nigel scared him from the other side and he gave this low huffing, puffing, grunting sound (heavy breath?). max’s reaction was to wriggle his arms in the air and dance around. Weird. The geog test was ok lah. I screwed up mapwork! I hate current affairs. Mapwork shouldn’t include current affairs. It aint called mapwork for nothing. oh well. we got back our history ca2! I got 77.7 or 77.6. somewhere around 4th in class. But my ca1 totally pulls it down. I got like 67 or 69 for hist ca1. sadness lor. I have to get 71 for the history exam to get an a1. oh well. we played some vball. Yup. I love vball! But chin was being irritating again, as he usually is. Haiz. Had lunch at kfc. Haha. I think yh will find a new bf lor. So flirty one. She said she’d tell me if she likes someone else 1 or 2 years from now. So I wont wait for her anymore. boohoo!

Anyway, we played bball! No more fugly squad. Heh. I tried the arm-swinging shot thing for the 2nd time and I actually got it in. that’s like 100%! The first time I tried was 2 weeks ago when I went crazy. It might actually by working. New move! W00t. I bought some Perrier which really screwed my stomach up. I think ill be keeping off Perrier for a while. Oh well. quite sad. I got titanic! W00t. finally lor. I didn’t study today. Yup. I just read one history mindmap and thats it. Ill spend tomorrow studying or shopping. Most prob studying. And some comp games. Yup. oh. I finally completed the battle of hoth mission in rogue squadron. I could never complete it last time, and after such a long while, I got a silver medal! Yay! flight sims skills! Hmhm. And I couldn’t find my blood type until I found this really old baby booklet thing. I shall have to remember my blood type lest I forget it: B+. I think I should be sleeping now…

I just saw this photo of a giant carrot in vjc on the jc guide site thing (http://www.jcguide.org/) I couldn’t help gaping at it and I was like that is so fking wrong. Alrighty. I slept real early last night at 930. I had a dream which included lots of dhs people, drains, minefields, trees, and me buying a drink for some girl in the canteen. Right. Anyway, we had to wait outside the d&d for a long long while. They only unlocked the door when the exams started. Chinese was quite ok, but im starting to doubt my chance at getting top. sadness. Paper 1 might save me. got top for paper 1 last year because I used a dictionary. Must use a dictionary. Yup. literature was ok too lah. like almost everyone did question 4 instead of 3. qs 3 was just crap stuff. I did question 2. dun really like poem. Too many hidden meanings. We played vball after school. It was like damn fun and stuff (backhand spike!). But of course, because of the [horrid] geog test tomorrow, we had to go home and study. We got caught by the vball teacher anyway. Sadness. I think I finished studying, don’t wanna kill my brain. Oh well.

Wah. Its so friggin close to the exams. I don’t like exams! I used to think in primary school that exams were just like games, and to take them easy. It worked out for primary school. Now its like all serious and stuff. It aint fun anymore! sadness. I wish exams were still like games, it’d be so much more relaxed. Yup, we had pe today. I was so not going to play soccer. So I played vball! Yay! Happy vball day! I think I played much better than usual today. And I finally understand that you should pass. Yup. and everyone will be happy. Possession vball. I saved a few balls! Like those that were going out. So im quite happy. I wont think of unhappy stuff. And I still haven’t gotten ice cream. Bleh. Im like too laxy to stop by at 7-11. oh well.

Today quite ok lah. we played bball during recess. Apparently I should play as something called the ward. Nvm. We all went back early! Oh. And mr tan gave us Hershey kisses! Like cookies and cream! W00t. and I gained one kg after losing one kg! so now im 51kg! w00t. and I screwed up some Chinese stuff. The oral and listening compre. But its still quite ok. must. Get. Top. im putting lots of pressure on myself now because tomorrow’s the Chinese test. My overall grade is so dependent upon Chinese now its scary. God give me the strength.

Today could have been a good day. The final day to enjoy before the exams started. But it went either boring or wrong. Im sick of all this crap. No, im not angsty. I haven’t written an angsty poem for so long. And I don’t plan to, remember? I cant put how I feel into poems. It just wont work. Ive taken to writing short pieces, a paragraph or two, upon a piece of rough paper, but I usually throw them away. My feelings and emotions don’t matter anymore, they just come and pass.

Mr yeo had to bring up the ip issue again. What the fk is so great about getting into any ip. You had the chance, you took it, and you reached your goal. Eventually, you’ll reach your ambition like you would along any other path. Fine. I got pissed again. I learnt that some people (who had a part in influencing me to stay with my decision to go) were actually going for the dhp. Staying in dhs is one thing. Leaving people behind is sad, yet ok, but knowing you’ll never see them again is one of the worst feelings ever. And a certain someone could use some tact. I don’t think the dhp sucks ok, especially not because I’m not in it. I’m not that egoistic. That would really be taking beyond limits. Think before you say anything. Bitch. You know you are. So sometimes people, not just myself, would really like you to stfu. To explain, I am asking why they tried so hard for the vip, then decided to defer to the dhp, after all their effort in applying and taking all the tests and interview, and the influence on me to continue along this path. Peer pressure had a part in my decision. Now all this just disintegrates into nothing. I cant believe I’ll never see them again. Its crazy, how it hurts so much. And I cant help thinking about it every night, after I make a prayer to God to let everyone be able to keep in touch, after I’ve seen what happened to p6gep. Its sad. Real sad. And I think im being affected by it the most, and at this kind of time. Argh. Why does life have to be so screwed.

The only interesting lesson was surprisingly d&t. we finished the water wheel thing! But it looked horrid. With all the last minute masking tape and double-sided tape. But it can actually work! Whee~ my fave machine = sanding machine thing. It can trim multiple pieces of wood and plastic to standard sizes and file them at the same time. Even though I sanded my knuckle today. The whole external skin has been scraped off. It doesn’t hurt that much. Just bled for a while. But it was just the topskin, so you don’t feel much.

Then I went to pasir ris library with Tristan, jie xin, cindy, Nicole and aaron! Whee~ I sorta studied for once. Omg. The food there is ex. I had a blueberry Danish. Yup. it was nice! But cost me 1.80. I so want to try a mud pie. Yes, I know im sad. I haven’t eaten a mud pie before. Oh well. oh! I had something to ponder about I wanted to write down somewhere, so I decided to blog about it. You know when you send people those sms-es about how they’ll be in your heart forever and that you want to give them a hug or will love/remember them as long as you live, do you really mean it? I mean like when I send those sms-es I actually mean what those say. When I receive these sms-es, I just wonder if the sender actually means what he/she says.

Yoshinoya! W00t. they have this 3.95 offer even on weekends now. For a beef bowl and a drink. But the student meal is still better, it includes jelly and miso soup too. Sadly its only valid on weekdays. I watched bicentennial man just now. Its quite a good movie. The only thing I find wrong with it is that robots are already existent in our world in 2005, next year. Its marginally possible, if technologists rush now. But, robots as advanced as Andrew Martin seem quite impossible. oh well. I did enjoy some nice brownies though. Whee~ I cant wait for oct 15! And they’re showing pearl harbor on the 17th! Great days after the exams.. its just 2 weeks more. Yup. have to suffer for just two weeks. Always look forward to the destination.

Aboard 12 yesterday, I was looking for something to do today, and I came up with the “superb” idea of going to change airport! So we did! I so so so love change airport. Well, it was a beautiful day, the sky was clear, everything was bright and sunny and cheerful. My dad dropped me at some first class entrance thing. How did I even go in through there? =S ok, so anyway, I go in, astounded by the beauty of the architecture (I never fail to be astounded, I just love a fusion of glass and light metal) I was going down the escalator when I saw Olivia. Her hair was brown lor. She actually dyed her hair during the exams. We just smiled at each other and passed. Apparently Tristan was at the station waiting for us, but I didn’t see him, and yuhui had passed me on the escalator, and I didn’t see her. So I went up again, met yuhui, then Tristan came up. We waited for Vanessa then went to terminal 1. skytrain rocks! Especially in the morning! Or evening. The sky is beautiful in the evening. I love sunsets! Whee~

Jie xin and cindy were there liao. We settled down and started to study. I reached my study limit in about an hour. I finished studying all I wanted to study. That’s the study limit. About half an hour later, we left for bk. There’s just one problem with bk. They give you too much food. Its like you pay a reasonable price, and they give you a whole lotta food and you want to stop eating but you cant because its just so damn tasty. Wah. I love bbq turkey bacon! Yup. so we went to t2 viewing mall. Behold, guess who was there? The whole lot of them = Amanda + zhiwen, visakan + sharan, js + hui yi. Oh wow. Study group number 2. and just this morning, hui yi was like oh mark I cannot come because Amanda dragged me into her study group. We niaoded them by sitting in pairs too! Haha. I sat with yh and jie xin! Ok. it was quite interesting, then everyone got sian so we went to tamp mall. Oh. Nick and max called Olivia on my phone! Its like so freaking evil. Quote white chicks - “I am so friggin pissed” then she called me and asked if anyone called her. Aiyah whatever lah. I dun even like her. Oh well. I took neoprints with Tristan, yh, hy and vanessa. Was dragged lor. Not fair. They all act cute!

Had dinner at century square, carrot cake! Then I went sniping at the arcade. First time and I got ultimate sniper (accuracy 100%) and I owned the comp at the forest duel thing. You like have to find the guy without any help and shoot him. I was like wtf lor. Its so bleeding easy that I didn’t even need the scope and only needed to hold the gun with one hand. No wonder its like 1 buck for 2 credits. Im so playing again. So worth it lor. I went back to tamp mall and voted for some baby thing. Vanessa, Tristan Amanda and zhi wen were there lah. then we went to the fountain and talked. Left at 930. oh. I think I understand a little bit more about love. I saw a certain someone wait for another certain someone even when his bus came already. Visa and max were like “eh, your bus is here, lets go home together” but he just waited for the girl to go home. I learnt that love is all about the little sacrifices, the smiles, the times you spend together, even in silence, and isn’t about stuff like snogging and dating and stuff. True love is when you’ll give your all for another person. Omg. That sounded SO soppy.

Well, the end has started. Days of doom, fear, terror that runs deep into your veins as you face the deathly silence. The tension is felt. Now is the time. English exams are basically the least tense of all of the “official” exams. You got lots of time, you just breeze through the paper, and end up drawing comics on the rough sheet of paper. It is so unlike history or geography where you just rush your ass off, and have no time to think about other stuff. Those two are the REALLY tough ones. You keep thinking that you haven’t elaborated enough, or answered the question from an appropriate perspective. Its just horrid. But English, well, there aint much to worry about. My first worry was that I finished too early, so I thought I had written too little. So I counted the words and points and found out that I had in fact wrote too much. Instead of worrying, I knew I couldn’t worry anymore, so I drew. Its so irritating when you cant decide if you wrote too little relevant points or too many. argh. Generally English is just relaxed. I don’t want to face the other tests. Especially comprehension on thursday. I seriously hate Chinese comprehension. I can usually pass, but I hate it. Its worse than compo or letter writing. As in seriously. My Chinese vocab just sucks. I don’t know how I even got top for ca2. ok whatever. My Chinese vocab comes from memory lah, just memorise the words in the handbook, then after the exams, everything is gone. Exam week 3 is the worst of all. Continuous exams everyday, not enough time to study, and some days even have 2 tests. I counted about 7-8 exams in 5 days. Scary.

Well, we played some vball after school, then went to kfc. I love talking at kfc. Somehow you end up talking about really really interesting stuff. Too much stuff to even type out here. Yes. So went to the bball court, the one at arang, to play. These gay fags were trying to bully us. And they acted all macho and sexy and stuff and took off their shirts. Omg. Friggin’ flabby. Right, so anyway, we niaoded them back. And stuff. They should have realised we had more than twice their strength in numbers. Heh. Oh well. ok day lah, better than usual exam days. I fear week 3. argh.
